What is a hover fox?
Hover foxes are cuddly, adorable fox hybrids with unusually large furry ears. As infants they are born with very small, proportionate ears, but as they reach childhood, those ears grow so large they can use them to hover a little bit above the ground and glide short distances. Of course, that can't last and by the time they reach adulthood they do grow into their ears a bit and are no longer able to use them for 'flight'. Their diet consists of seafood and different types of sweet and sour fruit, depending on their taste preference and where they live. Most HFs grow to be the size of a red fox, though you'll occasionally get some that are larger.

*purrs* So, now that hover foxes are up and running again, I figured I'd kick off the new lines with a child! This will be a short contest, please fill out the application below. This will end on May 4th(it would end earlier, but I'm going out of town for a few days).

Free-spirited, carefree, and almost always bursting with energy. Whirly's favourite pastime is to spin and twirl, loving the feeling of being dizzy. He's a bit childish, and doesn't really mind about what others think of him, he just likes to be him. Creative and imaginative, and quite innocent as well. There are only a few things that can truly bum Whirly down, even if he doesn't show it. The first is that he is colour-blind, and has been so since an accident that happened a few seasons ago. And the other is the idea that he will have to grow up, and lose his ability to fly and hover. However, Whirly will always keep smiling and living his life ever so happy and free.

NOTE: Also, he still believes in Santa Claus, so don't ruin it for him!

Favorite Color: While he cannot see any colours, when he did see them it was blue. However, he loves saying the colour yellow as "yeller."
