What are ECW's? wrote:Eastern Capricorn Wolves are strange creatures- they appear to be canine in form, however, long fur sprouts from under their neck, extending to their tails and starting again at the elbow and stopping just above the wrist, with serpentine tongues and slender muzzles. They also have large ram horns between each of their ears, rather than actual capricorn horns. They are named Eastern Capricorn Wolves due to the fact that when born, their horns resemble miniature capricorn horns, and eventually curl up into ram horns. The "Eastern" part in their name comes from the fact that the species is only existent in the east.

Name of the ECW: Amaya (means 'Night Rain' in Japanese)
Gender: Female
Personality: Amaya is a simple, straightforward character. If she likes something, she likes it. If she doesn't like something, she doesn't like it, and she refuses to be persauded otherwise. In her daily dealings, she tends to deal with issues - like disagreements - by listening to other's opinions first and then basing her own opinion off of it. Once she voices her opinions, she either zones out or expects the solution to be solved, before trotting off to goodness-knows-where.
In her spare time, she likes to be by herself, or with one or two friends - she doesn't like the hustle and the constant chatter of a crowd, mainly because she believes that everyone should take a break for awhile. In her spare time, she occupies herself with thinking about the issues of her small world and what can be done about them, sleeping, or exploring the world around her.
The main reason why Amaya has a straightforward, simple character, is mainly because she feels like she has high expectations shoved on her - regardless of her personal skills - because of the colour of her horns. Because of this, she simply hasn't bothered to be her best, just in case her personal best isn't enough for the community around her.
Likes:• Dragonflies - Even though they're her favorite food, she admires their simple intellect and the metallic beauty of them. When she sees one, she slightly hesitates before pouncing, mainly out of curiosity about its color and what it's doing.
Dislikes:
• Sleeping - One of her favourite activities, she often tries to snatch a wink of sleep here and there throughout the day, particularly in the early afternoon. She finds sleeping relaxing, and a nice way to deal with negative emotions.
• Exploring - Amaya doesn't usually explore often, but when she does, she likes discovering how things work (like why do those ants always scurry in the same direction, with small bits of food? What's the use of that?) or what they do. It's a nice little activity to do when she feels too restless to sleep or too unmotivated to participate in discussion.• Crowds - Amaya doesn't mind being in one from time to time, but to find herself constantly surrounded by chatter and whatnot irritates her. She feels as if they should all take a leaf out of her book, slow down, and relax for a few minutes. Being on your paws 24/7 isn't going to do any good for you, at the end of the day.
GIF of your favourite dog breed:
• Hot Days - While she doesn't mind dozing underneath the shade of a tree on a slightly hot day, boiling hot days just make her irritable since she prefers the cold.
• Being Forced - If it's one thing that will royally peeve Amaya off, it's having to deal with peer pressure or just pressure in general to do something. Forcing her into something is either guaranteeing minimal effort, or, surprisingly, an immense amount of effort to get something done to the highest standard so she's left alone.
