What is a Kiamara?
A Kiamara is a wolf-like creature. They have long, fluffy manes on the top of their heads, running down between their shoulders. They all have spots on their bodies- a trait in which will never be bred out of their DNA. They also have feathers- every Kiamara is given feathers when they reach the age of 2 years old. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat- they prey on similar creatures that wolves would. Kiamara can be very shy before they get to know you. Can you win a Kiamara's heart?
Happy Earth Day everyone!Trying to raise awarness, so here's an earth inspired kia <3
You can read about earth day here~
Quite a complex kiamara, but a simple contest as I want to end this today.
For a chance to win please fill this out:
- Code: Select all
Username:
Kia's name:
Gender:
Nature gif:
~I will judge this on the best name, but if I get stuck I'll choose my favorite gif. The gif just has to be of nature and anything to do with it, so we can all be reminded how beautiful our fragile little earth is <3
~Try to come up with a unique interesting name, not just 'earth' in a different languge or something obvious like Gaia ;3 But if it works, go ahead!
End Date~ 4-5 hours, so don't wait!

U s e r n a m e : Mello-chan
Yes, it's me. I'd like to say no introduction needed, but I'm not quite that arrogant yet. XD
K i a ' s N a m e : Sabaku (砂漠)
The Japanese word for desert, I was reminded of this by her sandy base tones, and the way her flowers and green areas are limited, but still visible. Also, this has always been my absolute favourite Japanese word. ^^ Though today is a day to think about the entirety of earth, I have always loved the desert, not that I live anywhere near anything remotely like one.
When people think of nature, they think of trees and rivers. Most people think of the desert as dry and barren, however it is anything but. Though classified as a area with low rainfall, this doesn't mean nothing lives there. Desert originally meant 'an unpopulated area'. It is a testament to some species of plant and animal that they have evolved to live in such a harsh-seeming place, and I believe this to be a beautiful example of the diversity of our planet. <3 G e n d e r: Female, to me.
Her beautiful floral markings and pretty earrings scream of femininity. Also, the Earth has always been associated with being female: Gaia, Mother Nature etc.
