What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

This is Crumble, named because she looks a bit like an apple crumble!


There was always something odd about her...: Tell us what it is! Only one thing, and while I'd love you to be creative, please keep it in the realms on JBD possibilities.

The odd thing about Crumble is that she loves painting everything with nail polish! Not just her nails but all over her possessions, walls of her bedroom, everywhere! There are plenty of small intricate painted designs on random objects in the house. Normally yellow flowers tied together in a design or her designs replicate the yellow swirls design along her back.

Yet again, Crumble was bored. So she picked up her nail polish and trotted off in to her art studio (aka. the bathroom) and she set to work on her masterpiece on the tiles. First of all she doodled a duck, with elegant golden swirly wings and an abstract sort of look. She then started to draw another shape with her green nail polish. She giggled as she saw it as it reminded her of a pickle she gave the pickle a face and dotted freckles and some rosy cheeks on it. She stepped back and admired her handiwork as she burst out in laughter she knocked her blue nail polish over and it ran down the edge of the bath! “WATERFALL!” she shrieked as she started to dot green bushes around it.

If you walk in to a bathroom with a duck and Pickle with freckles and a waterfall on the bath. Keep your possessions away!

The freckles on her face shined, the sun off the pond was bright. Pixie smiled, she heard the quacking of a duck not far off. She bounced through the reeds, making her way around the pond "hello" she said to a toad, but all it did was croak. She saw the duck, it was small a baby duck at that. she giggled "cute!" she exclaimed, Pixie tried to reach the duck but she couldn't. It was in the middle of the pond, she didn't know how to swim fully. She sighed " I need that duck" she says, walking around the pond more "come here ducky ducky duck" she laughs, looking around she finds a pickle "here come get the pickle little ducky" She holds out the pickle, the duck came swimming for it. She smiles, her freckles lighting up. She scooped up the duck, in her furry paws. she turned in to where it lay on it's back, she fed it the pickle happily. He quacked at her when he was done, She squished the duck into her fur. Hugging it, she loves the duck. She fed it another pickle, her freckles were the same color as the duck.

Not usually expected from a lady, her clumsiness doesn't really help this either.

Jetting up from the small beaker, black smoke and soot puffed in heavy clouds up and straight into Maka’s, now black and soot covered, face. That was probably a bad time to be observing her experiment from directly above. If it were not for her safety goggles, she could have possibly fatally damaged her eyesight. Immediately (well, after recovering from the shock), she darted over to the sink to wash the rest of her face. Momentarily, she glanced up at herself in the mirror that hung perfectly neatly above the nearest sink, a few of her freckles were visible under the mask of soot and of course her eyes had escaped the muck. After washing her face, she decided to vaguely inspect the experiment to check it was no longer active and then went to calm Cedric, her companion duck, who was beside himself with fright in the corner as the mini explosion had caught him rather of guard. Cedric, in his flapping reaction, had knocked over a jar of pickles that until then, had sat innocently on the counter. Though, why Maka had pickles she couldn’t quite remember. If only she could recall what reactants had caused the explosion...

Well, Gloss is a little different. She loves other animals, and although can't speak there language- prefers there company over another JBD.
She could seemingly sit and talk, and talk to the little critters all day, although not getting a real response, it seems to her she does because she responds- always.

Gloss sat in the grass, her semi freckled face holding a look of interest as she watched a beehive above her head. She laid down on her belly instead of sitting, front legs crossed and comfortable. I wonder what those little bees are doing..., she thought- she imagined them all cutely buzzing and humming to one another helpfully, in order to make the honey correctly. She stood on her hind legs, peering into the hive, a few of the bees buzzed angrily, and she tried to shush them, but one didn't realize she wouldn't hurt it, and stung her on the nose. "Ouch!" She huffed, falling back wards. She went inside digging through the fridge for something cold to hold on the sting... The last resort was a Pickle..... She softly face palmed and began to hold it there until the sting was numbed, after holding it there, she shrugged looking at the pickle and took a bite of it, the pickle crunching. Soon after that she went back outside, and seen a duck sitting in her yard. She pet the duck- She'd call him Quack! Gloss kept the duck as a pet, he became her favorite animal- out of all her pets. She guessed the Bee sting was a good thing,

Dragon Name: Cecilia - Latinate feminine form of the Roman family name Caecilius, which was derived from Latin caecus "blind". I chose this name because Ceci is actually blind.
There was always something odd about her...: She is blind, that is the one thing that is odd about her, simple yes? I know, but I feel that with her shy personality it works best.
200-word story containing freckles, a duck and a pickle: Once upon a time, there was a Jellybean dragon, she could not see the world as she was blind, and she had freckles on her face. Other Jellybean Dragon's made fun of her freckles, but she could not see them and it made her sad, because she was certain that having freckles was not so bad. One day by the pond she sat down alone listening to the sound of the water, with her she brought a basket of pickles, her most favourite of treats. She ate them always when she was feeling low about her sight and her little freckles. Then she heard a noise, a small noise like that of a quack. "Hello?" She asked, "Hello!" Came a voice, "Who is there?" she asked, "I am a Duck" The duck said, "I have no name, but I sense you are very sad" He said. "I am" She replied, "Why?" he asked, "I have Freckles" She said, "Nothing wrong with that, so do I" he smiled. The Duck and Cecilia became best friends and ate pickles by the pond everyday. The End.
