What is a Poketto Hōseki Ryu?
Poketto Hōseki Ryu is Japanese for Pocket gem dragons. These dragons are very small creatures. an Adult Ryu is about 12inches long that includes the tail.Their skin is silky smooth like that of a snake. The Poketto Hōseki Ryus are magical beings that share their powers with their owners. Each Dragon has a gem on their foreheads that allows them to communicate and share power with their owners. With out the gem they would not have special abilities.

Each Ryu has a special magical ability that is present when they hatch.
These powers can be one of the following powers:
mind control
elemental attacks(Earth,Air,Fire,water)
healing
Invisibility
Super senses(vision,hearing,taste,touch)
Precognition(to see into the future)
Teleportation
Animal morphing(being able to take on the form of an animal).

I dreamed I was in Africa, I had always wanted to go there.
The many different animals, all special in their own way.
The land and how it changes from desert to forest to grassland.
The people were in celebration, dancing and singing songs;
It seemed that something special was happening, at the moment I didn't care.
It seemed from out of nowhere a most lovely creature flew.
My eyes were glued on it, I felt connected at first sight.
The peoples celebration grew louder and stronger as it approached me...
He sat on my shoulder and cuddled my cheek, then flew over to look in my eyes.
"I am yours if you want me, we would make a fine pair you and I."
I couldn't belive my luck, and held out my hands for him, "forever and ever" I said.
Happy as can be were we two, but then I woke tears in my eyes.
It was only a dream, my friend would not be here.
Then a little voice inside my head said "do not cry Dayo is right here!"
It was true, the creature was mine and I was his; I scooped him into my arms.
A great gift to treasure, my Dayo fits his name well.
He has brought me what his name describes, joy arrives!
