- WTE Name:
Tanzylvet {Tan-Zill-vet} (Taz) **
- WTE Age:
Seven
- Gender:
Mare
- Height:
13.3hh
- Personality:
There isnt really any easy way to describe Taz. She is ornery, sassy, feisty, and a ruffian to the bone. Despite her somewhat small size this mare packs a punch. She is sarcastic to the core and has a dark and bitter humor. You wont catch this tough little mare wallowing in self pity, and you most certantly wont find her amongst the other mares. Taz enjoys rolling in the dirt, charging just about anything that is capable of fear, and sprinting through water/mud/bushes/herds. Though she would never admit it,Taz loves to learn, when she isnt exploding like a stick of dynamite she is silently observing other animals to learn why they do things. Things Taz does not enjoy include; being ridden, being clean(ed), being with 'frilly' and proper mares, flirting, being called 'little' or any thing along those lines.

- WTE Story:
The fall wind howled overhead of the leafy canopy, desperately trying to penetrate the interwoven branches, still heavy with summers leaves. A simper of perpetual smugness curled around the equine's muzzle. Her smoldering eyes shone with some wildly savage delight. A twist of malevolence flickered across her features as she slipped through the forest. What she was thinking about was anyone’s guess. Tanzylvet was about as mercurial as they come. Her behavior could be unpredictable or simply difficult. This often earned her annoyed looks. Whatever she was planning, it would most likely involve shenanigans and/or a reprimand. Hints of arrogance painted her features along with the wildly differing sentiments. Her green and purple irises were blazing with some strange enthusiasm.
Being the creature that she was, Tanzylvet was on a mission. The summer was coming to a close and she desperately needed to replenish her lost weight. All day the imposing brute had been feeding on old grass and previously grazed fields. Scavenging from what the herds had left behind. She had been doing this for quite a few weeks and already her sides were becoming comfortably weighted down. She wasn't usually as thorough with her preparations but for some reason spending time with nothing but her own voice left her with an insatiable hunger for rebellion. One that could not be filled with meals, but helped put an extra skip in her step and allowed her to concoct brilliant plans to drive the fattened herds from prime grazing land.
The rustle of undergrowth alerted the striding creature of another animals presence, having known this path the be a popular moose trail the clever equid slid into a dense thicket, waiting for a hint of antlers and becoming frustrated that the wind was blowing at her side, preventing either animal from efficiently smelling each-other. The frozen grass muffled the creatures hooves as she slid downwind. Cautiously she emerged from her position in the trees and into a small meadow. The wanderer was shocked to find two other equines grazing on lush grass, one a painted/spotted stallion and the other a sort of ruddy bay. Taz sniffed the air noisily, somewhat pleased that they had not noticed her until then. With a step towards them she nickered out a greeting and braced herself for the introduction(s). She had the distinct feeling that these two were somehow different than the other equines she had encountered thusfar.

The name Tanzylvet is a cross between the German word Tanzen (Dancing) and the English word Velvet, with the y thrown in to aid in pronunciation.
