When they got closer, they saw it was another little dragon.
It had tears in the corners of his eyes, and looked up at his family, flying away through the trees.
"Why don't you go with them, little dragon?" asked the girl, while her dragon nuzzled the other one.
He turned around so the girl could see him, and she gasped.
This dragon had no wings.
"Oh poor baby, come with me, I'll care for you!" said the girl, and picked up the two little dragons, one in each hand.
That way she walked out of the forest, with one friend more then when she entered.
