A dark, cold, and windy winter shredded the forest as though it were hunting for prey. The shrieking sounds of the wind were fierce and frightening for a small gathering of Lumos Bunnies. It was the night that a mother would be in labour, and giving birth to their litter. Those that were present were the father, the doctor, the mother's sister and father, and the young fox, who was the only differing creature, that helped them through this winter of peril. The whimpers and light yips of the mother couldn't be heard from the outside world thanks to the blizzard, so they were safe from predators. But from the way things were looking right now, the births may end up being a failure. With all of her might, she truly tried, and she successfully gave birth to a single male Lumos Bunny. They knew there were supposed to be two, but it was lost, but everyone was gracious that young Falis was alive and very healthy.
The following Summer, young Falis has now grown old enough to hop about on his own. His parents remained together, in the same little tree den they made while the mother was pregnant. Falis would travel everywhere with Komina, the young fox, who was practically his older brother. They did many things together, despite Komina having his carnivorous intentions. Komina was at his own age where vixen's came to his sights, but they would all reject him for being super forward. But it was how he was. He was a believer in never giving up, and he's always make sure Falis would follow that motto too. However, Falis was rather meek and shy, but he tried to be confident for his "big brother", he always called him that. But despite the peaceful area they lived in, many things had gone terribly wrong. Humans had come to the forest, and they captured Falis' parents. Komina and Falis remained hidden during the scene, but it broke his poor little heart.
After living together long enough, after a full circle of seasons passed by, Falis gained a new confidence, that he would be strong enough to keep himself alive, and that he would be able to meet his parents again, one day in the den above the clouds. Ever since then, Komina and Falis kept working together to defend themselves from all sorts of dangerous creatures, with the Lumos bunny mainly acting as support for the headstrong fox. They fought and survived many battles together. However, it soon came to a time where even Falis must do what needs to be done. During the cold end of an Autumn, Komina was dying, and if the scared bunny didn't act, the large wolf they were facing was going to finish it. Out of a sheer wave of confidence, Falis attacked and fought the wolf, for Komina's sake. The Lumos bunny did not kill the wolf, but did plenty of damage to send him packing. After the brutal fight, Falis gathered what he could and saved his big brother.
Soon enough, they later found out that the wolf who attacked them was the alpha of a large and merciless pack. After healing from their wounds, the two stood tall, and they fought the pack, formed by Falis' new-found strength. Many wolves died, they hardly seemed like a threat. But it came down to a dire factor, where the alpha had slain Komina. Now with nobody, Falis gave up, and was more than prepared to die. But it wasn't over. From his fierce and stubborn cores of his inner self, Komina came back to life and killed the Alpha. In his last moments, he gave Falis a small scar on his foreleg, and glared him down with a smirk. And before dying, he gave the young Lumos bunny a message: "If I've managed to come back to life just to avenge myself, then that alone is enough proof that you will continue to live, Falis. Never give up, and always remember, don't believe in yourself that you can win, you aren't a solitary guy. Instead, believe in those who believe in you. Including me! Now make me a promise, no, swear me an oath, and don't die until I give you permission to do so!"
With no Alpha to follow, all the wolves turned tail and ran, never to mess with them again. But it was still a hollow victory. Falis knew that if he kept fighting, he wouldn't be able to keep his promise to Komina. So he set off to find a better home. One that would allow him to live peacefully, for his brother, his parents, and for the one that had been with him since his mother was pregnant.
