Personality: bold and brave, he isn't afraid and is somewhat hard headed
History: Shanghai was abandoned at a young age in a temple. The monks taught him the ways of old and also how to fight in Kung Fu. He then traveled to Japan to learn to fight with a Katana in the ways of Kendo.
Likes: dragons, reptiles, red, white, Katanas, flying, sunsets, the ancient ways, history
Dislikes: rabbits, ruffians, dragon hunters, and those who mock the ways of old.

(Just realized someone else chose that name.....so i added the Sohma to mine! I hope it's ok, since they're different now! ;-;)
I chose this name for multiple reasons:
1. Ayame is the name of my all time fav. character in the Anime "Fruits Basket".
2. It's the name of the snake in Fruits Basket, and this year is year of the snake..(Ayame)
3. I was born in the year of the snake.

He is extremely flamboyant and overconfident, often speaking of himself in a much brighter light than others, while in truth he just wishes that he was more like others. Ayame is constantly trying to get closer to his friends due to their separation as children.(His mother kept him seperated, as he had weak bronchueal(Spelling?) tubes, resulting in asthma.) Ayame, being an outlandish and often insensitive person, eventually realized that there were many qualities that he desired that could not be found in his birth-place. Out of his respect for life, and his desire to be more like others, selfless and noble, he, without hesitation, does anything that he says, as commented on by his father.
History:
Ayame was born a sick, and very weak hatchling. Even the slightest cold breeze could cause him a cold. When he was still little, his parents became worried about his weak lungs, and insisted he not go outside, much to his protesting. He was also forced to stay near the back of the cave he lived in, unless the temperture outside was JUST right. When Ayame was a teenager, he riked going out when his parents were sleeping. That day, it was cold, and the cold air felt fresh in his lungs, yet it hurt to breath in. When he was flying home, he had an asthma attack, and woke up in a strange cave. There was a note next to him, that gave him directions back home. When he returned, he had a cold, but now that he is more responsible(Just a bit more, as Ayame is a young adult), he has freedom of going out.
