You might find it odd,but this little girl loves Toothpaste,ever since she was a little girl.She was once told that she looked like toothpaste,so she decided to taste it.She loved it,and where ever she goes she will always have some kind of minty thing with her.Bubblegum,Tic-tacs,toothpaste you name it,If it's minty she's got it.Once when she was little toothpaste saved her life,she was sliding on ice by the street,and accidently slipped,hurtling toward the street where a car was coming.She had been eating toothpaste and the container spilled open in front of her,sticking to her paws and stopping her just in time.

As you can probably see, I picked
Lamiaceae because when I first saw
this girl I thought 'Mint' immediately.
However I wanted something cooler
and picked Lami. I like Lamiaceae
a lot, but I also like Lami which
made me pick it.

Lamiaceae's most stand-out trait is that she is a cook. I don't mean like a French cook, I really mean like a cook cook. She hates tshe people that automaticly assume that she is French, or some sort of a geek just because she likes to cook. She likes to cook anything. Everything. If you asked her to bake a strawberry quiche, she'd be able to do it. One of the things that she likes about cooking is that she can change or alter the recipies to make it taste better. She's really creative when you think about it that way. Her favorite thing to cook? If you asked her, she'd say everything, but in reality, she likes making anything that involves lots of fresh herbs that she can get from her garden. She's a very ferioucious cook. Just like the quote above, which she finds hystarical, she'll defend her cooking more then anything else. She hates it when people make little snide comments about a new recipie she just created and will be just like Isabelle from the quote. Lastly, I just thought it would be nice to point out that if you ever wanted a beeline to Lami's friendship, compliment her cooking. It works the same with enimies. if you hate Lamiaceae, and you want to avoid her, then just tell her how terrible her cooking is. Don't, please, though. She'd be very upset :c

Another strange thing about Lami, something that only her friends know about, is how great she is at memorization. Usually if you ask him a random fact like 'What are the two most common spices used in sandwiches' she'd know right away and tell you. Most of the time, she doesn't even conciously know it and after saying it will act suprised until she realizes that she must have picked it up from somewhere. And it's not all cooking. She knows other random facts, more about cooking but less about other things. That doesn't mean she doesn't know about other things however. Also, Lami says you should get something straight. She's not a 'smart' JMD. Of course, she's not dumb, but she's not exactly smart. It's just that she's realy good at memorizing, so for subjects like social studies wshere you just have to memorize a long bit of information, she's good at that, but in math, learning how to do a problem, she has to do it just like everyone else, with some thinking and work. However she is doing pretty well in school and always tries her best when doing things she's not good at. Flashcards? Don't even bother. In the half hour it takes you to make them, she'll have already memorized exactly why the Chinese built the great wall, or whatever you're studying.

Not really modern, Lamiaceae is really 'Old-Fashioned'. Just like you saw in her 'dislikes', Lami hates plastic, and would much rather have some wood. She doesn't like newer things, and still carries around the cell-phones that are as big as your TV. Maybe a little smaller. Everything in her bedroom is made out of wood. She, of course, has to have some plastic, but tries to avoid it as much as possible. She only electronics that she'll actually use, and that she actually likes are computers, radios, and sometimes the new-fangled IPhones. She's not at all a technical geek, and would much rather work with whittling wood then assembling wires and contraptions. However, this doesn't mean that she's like your grandme. She doesn't approve, but she still uses the things. And, she doesn't really mind new concepts, such as the 'flipped classroom' idea, if you've heard of that. It's only material objects that she doesn't like, new and plastic material objects. Unless you can listen to music on it. Then she's good. However, she is coming to accept tshe new-fangles devices, not as much as your average joe smith but at least she's learning how to use it and play with it. Especially the computer. Lamiaceae is a real sucker for the computer.

As you might have gatshered from the caption under Lami's picture, Lamiaceae is really, really, really shy. I don't mean to put too much stress on thers, but it has to be mentioned. Lami hates, HATES going in public, being in public places, meeting new people, everything like that. It's more of a fear then a trait. She is seriously petrified to go anywhwere but her nice cozy house and warm bed away from hers precious music and stuff like that. The only way she really meets someone is if they're forced together. Because of thers she really doesn't have good social skills and doesn't know 'what's hot'. This might contribute to the 'old fashioned' ideas that she always has had. So, if you want to make friends with Lami, all I can say is good luck because you're going to need it. Lami keeps herself isolated from the rest of th world, in hopes that they won't try and find her. If tshey do try and find her, then, well, she'll just have to run away. She is though trying, and at least making an effort to meet new people. She might not be the best as being a social butterfly, but then again, Lami doesn't really have a part in the social pyramid unless you count 'weird smart and nerdy' a catagory. Which most people don't, sorry Lami. Oh well. She's been through it.

This might sound funny, but Lami is really forgiving. She doesn't really mind that you do something mean to her, as long asd you're not mean again. if you've done something to hurt Lamiaceae (other then her cooking) the expect to be greeted with open arms next time you see her, because she'll either have forgotton it (unlikely) or just realized that you didn't mean any harm and only wanted to be her friend. The can get her into situations, however, too. Like when you're actually a bully who wanted to make her cry and succeeded. She won't try and go away from you, she'll only forgive you and again attemt to be your friend, only to get hurt again. However, she isn't stupid. She knows when enough is enough and will stop trying to br your friend. This is only after you've hurt her so many times that it's hard for her to even go near you because of how mean you are. However this rarely happens because most people Lami just avoids, mostly because her tendancy to be super duper shy in public.Lami, when she does go in public, is picked on for being strange, and different. She hates this. However she keeps it all inside and will usually fogive the person, making her a target for bullies.

;Likes;
Herbs. One of the first things that I think of when I see this gal
is herbs. Of course, she likes to cook too, but that's not why
I think that she would like herbs. It just seems to me that
Lamiaceae's the kind of JMD that would spend the day in the
garden burying her face in herbs.
Celtic Stuff. Lami likes the Celtic culture. For some strange
reason, it's always appealed to her. She is a little Irish, not too
much but a little. She likes the writing, ideas, dancing, and cooking.
Don't forget about the cooking! That's Lamiaceae's favorite
part.
Mystic. The word, I mean. This has got to be the weirdest 'like'
you've ever heard, but it's true. Lamiaceae loves the word
mystic. Just the way it's pronounced, the meaning, if she
could she might invent a recipie for mystic cookies or
something.
Spots. Wshen I say spots I don't mean the cute perfect dots
you'd paint on your wall. I mean spots in nature. They've
been an inspiration to Lami ever since she was small and
she loves basic things off of them. Giraffes, cheetahs,
even eagle rays.

;Dislikes;
Being Disorganized. She's not clean, but she's always organized.
If she's not organized, Lamiaceae has no idea where anything
is. Even when typing a school report, she makes sure that
everything has a place and it isn't cluttered. She actually
likes organizing and coding on websites.
Warm Days. Lami, liking mint as much as she does, would
much rather have something cool like mint then something
hot. In thers way she hates the summer and tries to stay out
of the sun. She prefers winter. The coolness of everything,
and how tshe snow coats everything...
Perfume. One of the things that Lamiaceae hates. Perfume.
She hates anything that is too scented, but perfume? Never.
The smell of it makes her want to throw up and the thought
of ever haying it or cologne drives her mad. Just, please,
don't introduce yourself to Lami with perfume.
Heights. One of Lamiaceae's few fears is heights. She's always
nervous that one day she'll fall off a cliff. She'd rather face a few
sharks then have to go bungee jumping. Her blood runs cold
wshen she looks at pictures of people walking on thin ropes
over a raging waterfall she sees in a magazine.

;Quirks;
Obviously you get that she's a cook. But her quirk is how she's afraid of her own shadow. She's never liked being in the darkness, but there’s something about seeing a dark blob attached to you, that moves with you no matter where you go. This is why her favorite time of day is noon, when you don't have a shadow. Also, this doesn't mean that she screams every time she sees it, she just shivers a little, inside.
-shivers- I just don't like shadows. They scare me, just being infinitude of darkness. It's scary, thinking about it.
