Story/Personality:
Carefully, Psychic walked among the gravestones, careful not to awaken the spirits as they slept. She sensed a danger at the edge of the cemetery. Ducking behind and abandoned boardwalk, she peeked out and immediately hid again. So it was true.
Long ago, she had been normal. Long ago, she had been loved. But when the spirits came to her, talked with her, and no one else could see them, they had kicked her out. They believed she had some disease, or that she was crazy. They didn't want either in the group. So she had left, crying and lashing out at the spirits whenever they came near. Finally, she had stumbled into the cemetery and fallen asleep, exhausted and heartbroken. When she awoke, there was a kindly old grandmother spirit who had offered her soup that magically became real when she put it down. She'd seen many other spirits, among them a knight, a girl in a beautiful, elven-like dress, and a young man who appeared to be some sort of a warrior. They took her in and taught her of what was going on in the world. A great evil was rising, and had been for a long time: the evil Morgana le Fay. The knight knew her to be the enemy of King Arthur, and now she was working to overthrow the powerful people on earth who could stop her. But she had many allies. Among them were childhood nightmares: werewolves, black, hairy monsters and everything else you could imagine.
But the worst was the one that had visited the cemetery: Blood Mary. She was a hideous creature; Gollum was a clean and intelligent human being next to her. He clothes were filthy rags covered in blood and dirt and disease. Her hair was thin strands stuck together in clumps. It was white, but also filthy beyond the repair and soap and water. She tainted the land and killed even the spirits, but it was not something that Psychic planned on letting happen.
With her keen hearing, Psychic could practically see Bloody Mary crawling on her hands and knees, grunting and groaning as she left a path of death. She knew that there was a magical barrier that would protect her, and waited carefully. Bloody Mary stopped, and Psychic slowly slid out of her hiding spot. Indeed, she was just as ugly as legend had told her. Slowly walking out, she realized that Bloody Mary was a few inches away from the barrier, reaching her hand out and occasionally cringing back as her hand grazed the barrier. She was looking for a weak spot, and if she found one, she could break it. Throwing back her head, Psychic howled, signalling danger. Suddenly, the creature looked in her direction, and Psychic realized she was blind. But, reaching a hand forward, the thing began to croon some strange lullaby....Psychic found herself entranced by the song, and as Bloody Mary gestured for her to come, her body began to walk of its own accord. She was powerless to stop it. She was coming closer, and closer, and closer....
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the crone's scream came, and Psychic became herself again. Rushing back behind the barrier, she realized that, with impeccable timing as usual, Sydney, the boy-warrior, had saved her, slicing open Mary's back. Seeing this gave her an idea..if Mary was already wounded, she might become foolish. So, stepping outside of the barrier with her eyes closed, she began to whimper softly. All she had were her ears to guide her. Sydney realized what she was doing, and soundlessly jumped up onto the boardwalk, ready to help her at any moment.
Lured in, Mary turned toward the sounds and started crawling there, struggling to hurry and be quiet. Slowly backing up a bit, she waited until she could hear the creature stop a few paces in front of her. No doubt, far enough to lunge at her prey. Whimpering a bit more, Psychic licked her foot, as though it was hurt, and nosed the ground, waiting. Waiting..
The creature shouted as she lunged, and Psychic simply stepped back. A blinding light appeared as the barrier did what it was always meant to do, and a horrible scream pierced the air. Psychic's ears went flat against her skull as she tried to press out the sound.
Later, it dawned on her that the entire exchange had only taken a few minutes. Kind of strange that a monster that had lived for so long had died so quickly.
She had decided to try to explore the world again, and as she bid her friends adieu, she felt the tattoos of her wings lift her in a new direction.

Okay, I know that that was really very hurried and fast and didn't have a fantastic battle scene, but that's what I've got for now. I may continue this if I win her...
