This, my friends, is my last adopt as an artist. I spent a lot of time on her so that my goodbye gift wouldn't be sucky and unnoticed out of kindness. .

A Jewel Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewels on their foreheads and tails.They eat mostly small mammals such as birds, squirrels, and rabbits. The fur on their back, hind, and front legs feel like the softest of silk and is pretty short. The fur around their neck (Also know as their mane) and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewel mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewel Mane Dragons have jewels at the end of their tail and on their forehead, there's really no exception to that rule. The jewel on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting, while the jewel on their forehead is used during mating season to attract females.

Why did you choose this name?;;I chose this name because i think its a beautiful name and it is the first part of Aurora Borealis.


Why does he/she like lightbulbs so much?;;It is because she gets so many bright ideas!


Companion?;; Luminous is a fluff ball that only the blind can under stand. He is Auroras companion who guides her where ever she goes! Luminous has been with Aurora ever since she was small and was diagnosed blind.Luminous is her best friend and she loves him with all her heart.


How does he/she deal with being blind?;;She deals with being blind pretty well since she was diagnosed. Sometimes it gets rough but she can always count on Luminous to help.

Extras*Giant helper*;;Fluffs are tiny creatures bred to help all the blind JMDs there are. Luminous is a golden fluff which means he is a great helper. / When i first started losing my sight i was afraid. Everyday my eyes got worse and worse. My parents decided it was time to get me a fluff to help me in my time of need. When i first "saw" Luminous I could only see a tiny fuzzy thing but even with my poor sight i new we would get along. So day after day as i got worse Luminous helped me. And on the day i lost my sight completely i new i didn't need to worry.Then as i got older so did Luminous and that is the story of how i met Luminous! -Aurora

Because Of That Lightbulb-Like Shape On Her Shoulder, And I Once Saw A Book That Looked Really Cool Called The City Of Ember. Also, I Just Really Like Tat Name, And I Think It Fits Her Well.

Why does he/she like lightbulbs so much?;;
Just Because, Even Though She Can't See, She Can Feel The Strong Light Given Off By That One Small Thing. They Give Her A Feeling Of Heat, And As If Simulating Sight, She Can Feel Everything Around Her With The Heat.

She Has Named The Small Yellow Ball That Follows Her Around Hoole, And He Is In Fact A Ball Of Pure Positive Energy And Light, And Can Take The Form Of Whatever He May Choose, Though He Particularly Favors Being An Owl, Specifically A Barn Owl.

She May Be Blind, But She Has Never Had A Problem Seeing. She Sees With Light. In Her Minds Eye, All She Sees Is Yellow, Different Shades Of Yellow, And Everytimes She Takes A Step, The Images Change. Like She'll See Still Images Of Real Life, And As She Steps, It Changes To Whatever The People Are Doing Right Then

Why does he/she like lightbulbs so much?;; Because they bring light to the world, and they are like a sun inside. (Also, she is a fan of Thomas Edison.)

How does he/she deal with being blind?;; Her companion, Ember, shows her the way. I do not know exactly how, as she does not talk. The last time I heard her talk in her silky sweet voice was about her father, who had died 3 months before.

I whispered to her in a low voice. "Are you okay, Light? What happened?"
She replied in her sweet voice."No, but you do not need to worry about me. Worry about yourself."
I again whispered to her. "Is this about your father?"
She then got up and ran off, crying.
I followed her and told her that everything would be okay.
She then refused to talk.
Every since, I have not heard her talk.
