I thought this poem suited her because she can relate to it.
The sunset refrences the beuatiful oranges in her eyes and designs. The part about the stormy sky and sea translates to the grey tones of her coat color and mane.
Her darker grey mane is the angry, storm-tossed ocean, and her light grey coat is the moon shrouded in clouds.
