What do you think the gold markings on his arm represent? The gold markings on his arm once ment something great, like being a hero or a leader, but now mark him as a traitor, a magic user and an outcast. Jax never knew magic was an illegal practice, from a young age he loved it, he memorized every spell he could. With magic he quickly climbed ranks in the 'military', no one knew he used magic, he didn't hide it but no one ever noticed. Even during war-times no one took notice. Still a young dragon when the war ended, the society he was living in elected him leader. During the celebrations that followed, he used magic to summon a feast, and gifts. When the society saw he was a magic user they grew fearful and chased him out. But before he could get away they poured molten gold onto his arm. And that is how he got his marking :3 Blarg, terrible story D: I fail at writing!

I think they represent the fire that burned down his homeland.I thought of this when I saw that he looked like smoke or ashes,and the gold was like flames.His homeland was a small forest that was torched to the ground by a strange force.

He used to work as a Smith, but one day a girl called Carrila came and they got together, but she was actully a witch and she was soon found out, the villagers for their own safty burnt her at the stake. He tried to save her, but burnt his fin's and Horn's and did'nt manage to save her.
As punishment his master branded him as a Charagon, a meddler with the dark .( Don't have to read behond this point) In his grief he went to a ancient tower and looked in the ancient scroll's to look for a way to bring Carrila back...
