A Jewel Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewls on their foreheads and tails.They eat mostly small mamals such as birds, squirels, and rabbits. The fur on their back, hind, and front legs feel like the softest of silk and is pretty short. The fur around their neck (Also know as their mane) and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewel mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewel Mane Dragons have jewels at the end of their tail and on their forehead, there's really no exception to that rule. The jewel on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting, while the jewel on their forehead is used during mating season to atract females.

Dustin loses his temper, quite to often. When things don't go as he likes, he gets frustrated fast and snaps.
This issue is one of the things that get him in problems. He just cant keep his head cool in situations like these. Of course, he doesn't attacks or hurt anyone, but he uses some really ugly words. Screaming in despair is another thing that shows, that he lost his patience.

{Daring}

Dustin is brave. Sometimes to brave, thinking he can do certain things, when apparently he can't. In some cases it's not so bad but most of the time, it gets him in the deepest trouble. Dustin can't help it. He thinks that he can pull through, but almost every time he needs help to get out of trouble. His actions are just to risky sometimes.

{Troublesome}

He does stupid things. Really stupid things. Dustin can be very troublesome for his friends.
Believe me, you don't want to be caught in his mistakes. They can be outrageous!

{Self-Determined}

Self-Determination is normally a good trait. Not in Dustin's case though.
He makes up his own mind about what to think or do, without outside influence, but because he doesn't think his decisions through, ignoring the possible consequences, it ends in a disaster most of the time.

{Impulsive}

Dustin is often controlled by his emotions. He can hardly control himself when he is overwhelmed by them, leading to big problems sometimes. He doesn't think clearly at times like these and does something before thinking it through.
That often is related when something bad happens with his friends or something the like.







♥ Adventures

Going on adventures is my passion!
First thing I like about them is the feeling of thrill. Feeling the blood rush through your veins and looking in the eye of danger. Adventures are so exciting and getting to explore everything is awesome as well.
Then, I want to see and know anything! I want to find out as much as possible. Seeing the whole world is my dream. You can kind of count it as traveling, but for me it's an adventure in itself.

♥ Fun

Oh man, I love to have fun! Nothing is better than having fun or a good laugh.
It makes you feel so happy! There is no better feeling. I'm a sucker for everything thats fun or funny.
If you want to play a game, tell jokes or anything that contains fun or a good laugh, count me in!

But I also love to make others happy, so they can feel that awesome feeling as well.

♥ Music

Music is a really great "invention". I love to listen to my favorite music. Some songs are so amazing and well thought out. The different tunes really are a blessing for the ear. My favorite kind are slow pieces. I really like piano and violin pieces in particular.

♥ Nature

The nature is the most magnificent thing ever! I would so love to see all places.
I especially like forests and large meadows with lots of flowers. It so great to lie under a tree, on a big meadow and listening to music. It so relaxing and great for the soul. You have no idea how I love to nap like that in spring, summer and sometimes autumn.

♥ Night

I love the night. The eerie quite and darkness, with the stars and moon lighting the night sky and world around slightly, has a great feeling to it.
It's such a beautiful sight to behold. Normally, I don't like the quietness, but in this case it's great.

♥ Swimming

When I had to choose a sport, it would be swimming. Gosh, how I love swimming!
The feeling of the water and the feeling of being in the water is so soothing.

♥ Flying

Another great hobby of mine, is flying. The feeling of the freedom you have up there is indescribable. Soaring through the sky and seeing the world from above is truly amazing!
I always feel like I can do anything and can fly anywhere I want, with absolutely no restrictions.

♥ Hanging out (with friends)

Just doing nothing and hanging out with your friends is just great!
It's always so much fun. I love to be in company. Being lonely is nothing for me. Ever.

♥ Fruits

Fruits are my favorite. They are so delicious. So juicy and...well fruity!
And let's not forget sweet. Mmmhm, so yummy!
Strawberries and Cherries are my favorite of them all. I can eat them all the time.
What a pity that you can only get them in summer...

• Untrusty, betraying and bad people

Ugh, I just can't stand people like that! How can someone be mean to another living being?
How can they act like that?
Everyone is special. Why can't they see that.
People who are bad in every way just aren't fair. I'm so angry just thinking about it, that I can't even explain myself properly. I hope you understand, what I'm getting at.

• Bad weather

Bad weather is such a fun-killer. It really irks me when I want to do something and I can't, just because the weather is so vile. It spoils all my plans...

• Winter

Winter isn't that bad. It's a really great thing in itself. And snow can be pretty fun as well.
The nature is really beautiful at that time as well.

It's just...winter isn't my thing. It's my least favorite season.
Reason? Well, the weather is often bad and it's so darn cold! I can't stand the cold.
What's more, I really love some things that can't be done in winter at all.

• Humidity

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it when its warm When the sun shines and its cozy warm.
But when it's so warm, that it's humid, then I can't stand it anymore. I feel sick then and i have the impression that I can't breath. The sticky air is so uncomfortable.
I don't want to do anything when its humid. Then, I just want to lie in a dark, cool cave and sleep all day long.

• Boredom

When there is one thing I don't like as well, it's boredom. Ugh, it's so depressing!
I just have to do something, anything. Being bored is the worst. It makes you feel so depressed. I really hate it...

If I were to own him, I think Dustin and my JMD's would make great friends!

Yukiko loves fun and adventures, just like him. They probably would have a lot fun together.
Both would go on adventures together, play, joke around, getting on Cecile's nerves and a lot more.
They are so alike, that they would make a great team. I'm sure.

Cecile, on the other hand, is the calm one.
She could restrict Dustin if needed, keeping him out of trouble.
Like a guardian.
Cecile would keep him and Yukiko together. She would be the balance he needs.

Personality: Karano is very leader-like in his ways, although Srean- his friend- is much more of a leader, he's always her second in command. He's nice to almost everyone except those who threaten him or the ones he protects. he's very protective, and doesn't let anything get away with hurting his friends, even if they had just got cut on a bramble. He enjoys being alone, put is very good with "people" and can make a solution for almost every situation. He's strong and agile, able to defend his friends in times of need.

And i'm doing a little story about him and his friends to. Oh and i'm trying out for two jmd's at the moment, so if i win that one i'll pull out. But personally i like this one better. it's better colours for the character.

The days went by slowly and I couldn't help but notice Srean wasn't paying much attention. "Srean, are you ok?" I asked the hyper Jewel Mane Dragon. "Ya, i'm fine. It's just Kanya should be back by now." She said with worry in her eyes. "It's ok Srean. It takes a while to find a good territory. Just be patient." I sat beside Srean and we pressed together, waiting for our friend to get back. just then, Kanya burst from the bushes. "I found it!" She said happily, her orange gem waving widly on the end of her tail. "Show us!" Me and Srean said in unision, taking off after Kanya through the bushes.

We emerged on a large clearing, with a natural wall on one side and a waterfall going down it into a pond. A fallen log would make a perfect den, and it wouldn't be to hard to make some other dens for the ones who would be moving in here. "Fantastic." Srean smiled. "Let's get to work!"

We spent the rest of the day making dens. Srean went to sleep, so she could gather some recruits. Me and Kanya were working on the med den. "Do you think thats good?" Kanya asked, showing me her side of the den. "that's perfect, just like this camp." I smiled at her and continued working. Srean came out of the fallen log. "Ok guys, they'll be here when the moon rises." She said. "I'll work on the leaders den." She walked off towards the large stone we had rolled into the camp. "This'll be great!" Kanya smiled, and we continued working until Kanya made the sun go down.

Cats and dogs poured into the camp from all around. "You asked everyone, didn't you?" I asked Srean. She nodded, the purple gem on her tail lightly hitting the rock we all sat on. When everyone was here, Srean started. "Hello everyone, cats and dogs alike. I'm glad you all could make it." Her voice rang around the clearing, making everyone fall silent. For a moment, the only sound was the rushing of the waterfall, then Srean continued, just like we'd practiced. "The bloodshed between cats and dogs must be stopped. the fighting is ripping the forest apart, that's why we must make a truce." She looked around the crowed. "Make a truce with the cats! They'd take the fur off our backs for a few mousetails! Why should we trust them?" A sleek black dog stood, his ice blue eyes glaring defiantly at Srean. "Who are you anyway!? Why should we trust you!?" A cat stood this time, her calico fur shining in the moon light. "If you want the fighting to stop, you have to trust me." Srean said. I stepped forward. "The dogs will stay here, in this camp! All cats who want to be in a den, follow Kanya and Srean." Kanya and Srean hopped off the rock and most of the cats followed, the few that didn't, left. Once the cats had gone, i looked out over the dogs. "If any of you want to leave, and live alone, go now." I watched as a few dogs left. I counted how many dogs were here. Sreans voice came into my head. 40 cats. She said, and i smiled. 40 cat's and 40 dogs. perfect numbers. "Okay everyone! I'll show you around camp!"
