A Jewel Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewls on their foreheads and tails.They eat mostly small mamals such as birds, squirels, and rabbits. The fur on their back, hind, and front legs feel like the softest of silk and is pretty short. The fur around their neck (Also know as their mane) and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewel mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewel Mane Dragons have jewels at the end of their tail and on their forehead, there's really no exception to that rule. The jewel on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting, while the jewel on their forehead is used during mating season to atract females.

The only thing I thought when I made this JMD was...water.
Yep water.

I think it's pretty noticeable that water was my inspiration x3. Presenting waves, bubble and what not!
Of course, there will be a special Form. I do that often, when my design is inspired by something.

Aquarius is a more reserved guy, though once you get him out of his shell he's nice and spunky. He's a cuddly guy but don't let that fool you, he's also very strong, both mentally and physically. Once you're on his bad side you stay there. No matter what. He won't get in a fight that's not worth fighting, and he's got a way with words, making them run together like a river. He's kind of a 'wanderer' and will zone out at times, most of the time her can't help it but he will come easily back on focus. He's a big 'lover-boy' though he won't harm a fly most of the times. He's got a healthy respect for animals and others, Treat others how you want to be treated that's exactly what he does

He'd always taken pleasure in it, he just finds it fun. He won't waste any part of what he catches. He uses what the ocean, river, or lake gives him without wasting a single piece. But he's just happy to do it.


When he was little his father had taken him out with friends on a lake. His father had demonstrated how to do it, then let his son try it. They had perched on a rock and Aquarius was standing on his hind feet ready to pounce with the spear on a fish passing by. When he saw the fish it was huge, and he had caught it. (with help pulling it out) He had loved the sport ever since that day.



It was a warm summer day, and Aquarius's father came into his room "Wake up son!" He smiled, "We're going spear fishing."
"Really?" Aquarius asked, he wasn't that excited. "Do I have to go? That's boring." He whined
"Yes you do." His father snorted
"Fine." Aquarius grunted and got up, He groomed himself and got ready for the day before walking out of the house to where his dad was. He got in the car with his father and friends and they drove to the lake where the got in the boat and headed to a clump of rocks in the middle of the water. They all got onto the rock formations and started getting the gear ready.
"Watch how to do it before you try." His father instructed, Aquarius just grunted and watched them do it a few times before standing up and grabbing a spear, the rocks were slippery and hard to stand on. He waited patiently for a victim to come into view, it was a few moments and Aquarius was starting to get inpatient, when he saw it. The fish had to have been close to the size of him, Aquarius stood up on his hind feet balancing carefully, he wasn't sure he wanted to be in the water with the fish. When it was right under him he threw down his weight and the spear plunged into the water, but he had gone in with the spear. Aquarius still had the shaft clamped in his jaw and now there was a giant fish on the end panicking try to get lose. The others had noticed immediately and went to pull him out but he had been pulled to far for their reach, don't panic. He thought, he let the fish tire its self out before starting to swim back he moved through the water so gracefully there were barely any ripples; Aquarius pulled himself up onto the rocks where the others congratulated him on his first catch. They packed up and put the fish they caught in a cooler and headed on their way home. When they got home they grilled up the fish and served it to all the families that had come. Aquarius ate his serve and decided he loved spear fishing.

I would love to name this absolutely breathtaking JMD Sea-song. It took me a bit to come up with this name because I knew that it had to involve the ocean/sea, it just did. and then I just thought it and like I did with all the rest I thought "Is this a name I could repeat and use all the time?" and for a first I thought yes. Thus this name is simply made for this JMD in my opinion.




The gender of this beauty would be Male <33




The theme song for this JMD if I get the pleasure of winning him would be a song that I think fits him perfectly.
It would be the song that people might not think of. He doesn't listen to much music, but he has a soft spot for songs the people like mozart and bache compose. He has a liking for country music though when he listens to other music besides band/intrument music. I picked his theme song to be "All Too Well" by Taylor Swift. It is quite and subtle and its pretty and true. This is why he likes it. He likes this over all even though he has a special liking for songs written for piano, flute, and marimba/xylophone.

Sea-song is the type of male JMD that is very shy. When he is forced to talk to people he often stutters and can't quite say what it is that he meant. When he is near people he tries to escape and go somewhere else. He is very claustrophobic, and doesn't enjoy crowds.

Sea-song is a very fearful dragon. He is afraid to do just about anything. He has a hard time with trusting anyone because he is afraid to be let down and he is afraid to fall. He wants to fall in love one day, but he evidently is afraid to love someone and be let down, he doesn't want to fail in love rather then fall in love. When he is trying to actually fit in, he talks to somone but then is afraid of friendship, afraid to fall. He just doesn't want to fall. He is just so afraid to fall, he simply hates the thought of having to fall..

His favorite water sport is swimming. He doesn't really like any other sport. He loves to swim under water and feel just simply at peace with the world.




The reasoning that Swimming is Sea-son's favorite sport is because he just feels drawn to the water,when he goes in he feels like the whole world is revolving around him. Its that one thing in his life that he cn do and enjoy and be good at. It is the one thing that can take him away from the outside world, when he swims... he just cant help but feel at peace. There isn't a way to descibe this feeling. Once you expiriance this, thats when you can get it, some things in this world are just made for us to do, and swimming is Sea-song's true calling. When he's under water and he is swimming through it, it isn't just like he is swimming. No, he is floating, gliding, slicing through the water magically, time goes in slow motion and he feels inner peace, he just doesn't want to stop, there isn't anything that could stop him either. You can't snap him out of this world, he has to come out on his own.




He came to be a swimmer at just a baby JMD. He went by a pool for the first time, he was told to stay on the steps, but he felt a pull to the water and went all the way in. Then he was a natural swimmer, ever since then, that first day, that first time with the feeling, he just couldn't stop. For him, life without swimming is life without air.

A Breif Explanation
Were you suprised? I hope so. Yes, I consider this a song, a song by a sea creature. It is a beautiful and graceful, although powerful, song so it represents Sprite.

Personality: He is a sweet guy, but sometimes is outspoken, rude, and will not listen to others' opinions. Sometimes, he has crazy parties, and other times, he's all alone. In other words, he's short tempered and mixed up.

Likes: He likes challenges, partying, lakes, Goldfish (the snacks), life, rest, colors, girls, friends, darkness, and being wet.

Dislikes: He dislikes being dry, sunburns, too much light, thinking about death, awkward silences, being alone, and pickles.

His favorite water sport: His favorite sport is... tubing. Not everyone considers this a sport, but he does.
- He loves the bumps, the speed, the thrill, and the danger.
- One day, his master took him tubing. At the time, the master was young and scared, so when it was his turn to go, he took Sprite with him. He help on to the tube, and Sprite was strapped up, so on they went. Sprite watched as the water passed them by, and felt his stomach twist into nots because of the choppy lake surface. They passed by fish, and turtles, and this was when Sprite realized there was something specail about the water.

My jewel is blue. I should love the water, owing to the fact that I can control it. I don't. I'm scared to death of the water. In some places it's deep. In other places it's dark. Sometimes you can't tell what's around you.
Or so I think. I've never been under water. I'm scared of it. The only water I get near is the bathtub and my water bowl. Not the creek. Not the fish pond. Not even the toilet. But... so what? That doesn't make me a bad Jewel Mane Dragon, does it? So be quiet.

No no no no no no no no! I can't go, I can't! Jimmy* knows I'm afraid of the water! He won't make me go tubing! But...
he is.
I don't understand. I've always been able to trust my human, Jimmy, to understand my fears. It was one of the commitments he made when he found me. He made a promise that he'd understand me, and that if I didn't want to do something if I didn't want to. But he is! I told him that he had lied. I protested, I yelled, I tried to squirm out of his grasp, but it wasn't working. I couldn't change his mind.
"Sprite," he said, "have I ever asked you to do anything like this? This is the only thing I'm really going to be firm about. Really. Can you trust me?"
Not anymore. Now that he broke his promise.

Next thing I know, he's pulling me into this thing he calls a kar. The kar rolls around on wheels, and takes you places more quickly than if you walk. I wish we were walking. I jump into the kar, where I take up a lot of room. Jimmy's mom tells me to get out. Behind their kar, they hooked up their camper.
"You ride in there. You'll be fine," Mom says.

Soon, we park in a flat area next to a lake. A man with a boat hooked up to his truck hugs Jimmy.
"Are you ready to go tubing?" he asks. Jimmy says yes, but he looks pale. The man doesn't seem to catch that. He gets the boat into the water and we all climb in. There's a yellow and red tube in the boat. I glare at it.
"Sprite," Jimmy whispers in my ear, "I'm scared."
I turn around to glare at him. If he was scared, why is he making me go? That doesn't make any sense.
"Sorry," he says. "I thought it sounded fun. But--"
I growl and turn away, angered by his stupidity.

We stop in the middle of the lake. The man throws the tube off the boat, but then ties it with a lonng peice of rope. It floats aroung in the water. Maybe they'll leave it here. It could be my tombstone.
"We'll go first. Sprite and I," says Jimmy.
I dig my paws into a strap and Jimmy puts his hands through the handles. My stomach starts to drop. I close my eyes and here the engine start. But then we fly.
I open my eyes. We're soaring through open water. Water. I dip my paw in, suddenly it clears up. Literally. All the alge parts, and I can see little fish swimming around.
We pass by fish. A turle. A snake. I can see all the way to the lake floor wherever I look.
I am free.
