Alfie Is shy and quiet, and keeps away from danger. He Is, although, quite curious, and loves watching other animals from afar. Alfie doesn't travel with friends, he like to go solo, well, except for his teddy bear Bowser of course.

Alfie looked up into his mothers soft green eyes and whimpered. " Mummy, why do I got to go " Alfie said sadly. His mother sighed. " I know you don't want to go sweetie, but you have to go and explore the world, have adventure's, make friends " his mother said softly. Alfie pouted and stood up. " But I don't want adventure's, I just want to stay with you " he said, tears in his eyes. His mother licked his head and then shook her head. " Go, go explore the world Alfie " she said. Alfie whimpered, but nodded, and set off through the hot desert. As Alfie walked through the desert he entered a small village with people running around all over the place. Alfie walked under the stalls so he would not be trodden on till he came to a toy stall. He climbed one of the wooden legs of the table and looked at all the magnificent toys. There were dolls and toy soldiers and in the middle was a small ragged teddy bear. His eyes lit up and he ran over to the teddy. He picked it up in his mouth and darted down the table. He ran under another stall and sat down with the teddy. " I'm going to call woo Bowser " he said happily, proud to have got his first item.

Alfie walked through the quiet woods. The sound of his bell ( that he had found at the beach under a rock covered in seaweed ) filled the whole woods with jingles. He held his teddy Bowser tight in his mouth as he heard a rustle in the bushes. " Who..Who's there? " Alfie said, slightly scared. There was another rustle and then nothing. He was about to flee when he saw something sparkle in the sunlight. He walked closer again and saw a leather strap with something shiny on the top ( wrist watch . He picked it up slowly and then quickly darted away from the bush. He put on the strange item, and sighed. It went beautifully with his sock, bell and teddy.
