Mist is calm and attentive. He likes cold weather and nature. He is not violent, unless the things he loves is threatened. He is witty and fun-loving and a really sunggle-buddy. Mist likes flute music and peaceful things. He hates loud noises and crowdes. He is much more comfortable in the silenece where he can relax with his owner and friends. Mist's a soft-spoken kind soul who would hurt a fly. He likes to make corny jokes and sleep under the stars, out in his world of freedom and peace. He works with herbal medicines and enjoys healing wounds. Mist likes to pull the occasional prank, but that is very seldom. He is shy around other Whelkon, especially females. Mist, over all, is a kind, gental soul with a mind to fit his ages.

He is my favorite color(grey) and simply beautiful. He has a certain air of mystery around him that I just can't get enough of. I love him tremendously.

Xanthos

Xanthos is a contradiction to himself. He is a fierce warrior who is loyal to his kind and their cause, however as he is Whelkon, he has an intense love and respect for all creatures, even humans. Xanthos is kind to all unless his hoof if forced otherwise. Xanthos is the type to ask questions as he has an extremely curious mind. He enjoys learning new things and coming up with new ways to do things. He is expert in battle strategies and peace treaties due to his extensive thirst for knowledge. This young male looks at the world like a Welk would, there are always chances for learning in everyday activities for him.

I would love this Whelkon because not only are his colors beautiful, but he is the first male I've applied for. I believe he would be great to roleplay with, either as a warrior or a healer. I would draw several traditional arts of him and any other Whelkon I adopt in the future.

(Personality)- Keeps to himself most of the time always wondering, roaming about mysteriously observing those among him. When the groups get together he likes to tell stories to the youths about the times long ago when he was a youth himself always happy to see their curious faces longing for more. He himself longs to see the day when both themselves and the humans can come together peacefully.

(Why I want this pet)- The reason I want this pet is because I don't have one what so ever and while i was looking through the pictures of adoptables he just stood out and i don't know just kind of spoke to me. When i read the description it was no different than the way i'd imagined it. I think his description totally describes the way of these mysterious creatures perfectly. So when I look at what i've written and look at him I feel as if i could look out my window and see him sitting there waiting for me to come out and greet him and see that peaceful and patient gleam in his eye.

▪ Personality (About 200 words): He's gentle yet stubborn. Syril never backs down from a challenge, but is rarely challenged for his wisdom. He has a cheery yet mysterious personality and can at times speak in riddle. He loves to relax by taking long walks in the forest, letting the natural sounds of mother nature flood his ears. He has courge and isn't afraid to show it, usually being first at trying something new. Syril loves teaching and telling the Welks new techniques and old stories, being a wonderful Whelkon to be around.

▪ Why you want this Whelkon (Few sentences):
This Whelkon is truly handsome, with a simply yet complicated pattern on his pelt. He may not stand out or may seem dull to others, I think he is perfect the way he is. Without the flashing designs to make him different, he shows that no matter who or what you look like someone will always care. Just by looking at him I can tell he is caring, and always ready to cheer someone up. I truly hope he finds a wonderful home!

Xeryus; The name of a Bright star.


-=Shine The Light=-
Xeryus is a very driven individual. Though he has been driven from the day the stars fell. He was only a young Whelkon at the time but his memory is vivid and clear. These stars became his new fascination. Despite his age; he has lead other Whelkon to safety; away from the hands of humans and towards these sacred fallen stars.

-Inquiring and intelligent-
He seeks knowledge that could aid their species as a whole, driving forth with reasoning and reckoning. He seeks to undo mysteries yet solved. He is deeply mystified by the stars the lay in the bleakness of the night. Others come to him to speak, for knowledge and to ponder the mysteries of the world.

-Calm And Protective-
He has seen many of his kind disappear around him; and he's very protective of those left. He often will put his wit to the test to keep others from danger. His calm demeanor helps him in the worse and best of times; allowing him to think clearly when the situation may be hot.

I really do love his coat and he would make a great addition to my story with Shintou; my former adopt. After all she deserves a mate as well. So I figured I'd give a shot to a male design I like. After all their greys would be really appealing.

It's not just for that reason of course; I just love the neutral colors on him and find him gorgeous.
