How did he become blind in his one eye? It was several years ago, when he was just a foal. As he was quite the young adventurer, always straying from the herd to explore with his best friend (Kito), he was always getting into trouble, but he seemed to have a certain streak of luck that allowed him to escape with only a few cuts here and there. Until he decided to take it too far and challenged Kito to a race through a small patch of woodland on the mountainside. Building up speed, he easily overtook the younger equid, disappearing into the trees but he became very cocky and lost his concentration, losing him to lose sight of where he was headed. Tripping over his own hooves, he became caught in a barbed wire fence and froze up in fear. Luckily enough, the younger equid hadn't been so foolish and was quickly there to help get him out, but there was nothing that could be done for his eye.

How did he become blind in his one eye? Cloud was young and thought he could do anything. Until he challanged a mountain lion. He had reared up as the mountain lion jumped down from it's perch. Cloud swished his tail and snorted at him. The mountain lion growled at him and then lounged. His sharp claws caught his shoulder. He reared up again and striked out at the cat. The cat yowled in pain and sat back on it's haunches. Cloud stepped forward and the cat jumped up to his face. He pulled back but not quickly enough. Next thing he knew, he couldn't see out of his eye and was all cut up from his claws. He snorted at the cat in defeat and ran off. He no longer could see out of his eye.

How did he become blind in his one eye?He was taking a stroll with his mate. deep in thoughht he did not notice the arriving stallion. He stole his mate. After many days of searching he had found the stallion who stole her. he was told that not long after the event shhe was killed by a mountain lion. he wass so enraged that a fight broke out and the other stallion hit him so hard with his hoof and a rock. The impact was inflicted to his eye making him blind.

How did he become blind in his one eye? It was a typical day for Cedar. He was roaming the mountains and valleys as usual; he had been forced out of his original herd due to his dominant nature. The others in the herd had felt he did not have what it takes, they told him being in charge of a herd was more than he realized: there were mares to tend to and foals to guard. Surely Cedar, with his youthful attitude, would not have the understanding and appreciation for life that a Stallion needed to lead a herd.
And so, after a fight, Cedar was left on his own, roaming the land. Although he spent much time listening to the echoes of the others' words, he did so in spite. They simply did not know what they were talking about.
Then, Cedar saw a new sight. Cedar heard a weak, but terrible, sound. He looked in the direction and saw scavenger birds circling and swooping and landing in the grass in. Their attention was on a poor little foal, laying helplessly, hurt and tired, its young life was almost depleted. Cedar let out a whinny and charged at the avians. Those on the ground took to the air. Cedar reared up and began kicking at them, but the birds, hungry for such a meal, fought back. One of them went straight for Cedar's face and clawed at his eye.
Finally, other Equids herd the commotion and came racing over. All of them together chased away the scavengers. Cedar stepped back as the others, all mares and foals, observed the foal, a young member of the herd. Cedar could feel stinging scratches and blood running from them. Through his good eye he observed the others.
And it was then that he understood what being a dominant Equid meant.
The mares, grateful for what Cedar did, welcomed him warmly into their herd. Cedar, feeling the sight draining from the eye that was attacked, happily followed them to the heart of their homeland.

How did he become blind in his one eye? Scar's claws slid minnisingly across thorren's neck. "Where is it?!" Scar growled. Thorren only grinned at this. Thorren thaught Scar would know that he wouldn't tell him a word. Thorren would hav laughed at him but Scar's claw keept him from it. Scar was not a patiant coger however. "Where is it!!!???" He demanded. He pressed his claws closer to thorrens neck pushing his head back. "I will take out your.....""Let off scar!" Another Wild mountian equid stormed in. His name was Kip. Scar emmited fewms of peircing laughter. "Well if it isn't little Kip!?" Scar Tessed. Kip growled. Scar snarrowld and Thorren; Desiding no more time could be waisted. Lept up from under Scars claw. Kip and scar both ran out of the cave. But scar was not left empty handed. And neatheir did Thorren. He now had one blind eye. And a scar to prove it.
