-Really, I don't expect to win, with so many awesome, talented artists ^^; especially Royal Mirage, I envy you~ but it was fun preparing for this, and ...and though I REALLY REALLY REALLY want her <3333 so much that I won't want any other WME except her (SERIOUSLY...) The winner may have all the art. Because I tried a lot for her, and it means the winner tried more, and she/he deserves some art gifts for this beautiful WME. The last tim eI drew an equine was probably when I was six, when I was crazy about unicorns >.>

Story:
I was wandering through a forest, hopelessly lost. I kept looking around anxiously, hoping not to be attacked by wolves. I had been wandering for hours, and my legs were sore from walking. I fell to my knees and buried my face in my hands, knowing how likely it was that I would die in this forest. I knelt there, sobbing, for several minutes. Eventually I stood and dried the tears on my cheeks. My lips still trembling, and walked forward shakily, still looking around anxiously. I suddenly stopped because I heard rustling in some nearby bushes. It didn't sound like wolves, though. I heard a clip-clop sound and my curiosity was aroused. I tried to find a peep-hole in the bushes so I could see what kind of strange animal was there. I found one and peered through. My vision was still slightly blurry from the tears in my eyes, but I wiped my hand across my eyes and looked again.
Amazing! A magnificent horse-like creature stood on a huge, flat rock. Its lion-like tail swished back and forth as its large ears swiveled to catch the slightest noise. It pranced gracefully in place, and its thin legs seemed as if they would never touch the ground. It stopped prancing and turned its head to look at me. I gasped and stared. Its calm eyes looked calmly at me. It turned its whole body to face me. The gorgeous creature whinnied at me, its voice friendly and gentle. I cautiously emerged from the bushes. Its thin legs made me think that it wasn't strong enough for riding. As I studied the creature, I realized it must be a Wild Mountain Equid! I had no idea I had gone this far into the forest. The Equid watched my every move, its eyes still calm and friendly.
"Hey, girl," I whispered. "Can you help me get out of the forest, please? I'm lost." The Equid mare cocked her head to the side and looked at me confusedly. Then she turned around and started to trot away. "Wait!" I called, following her. She stopped and looked back, as if waiting for me to follow. Once I caught up, she started trotting away. Then she stopped and looked back, waiting for me to catch up again. This little game went on for what seemed like hours. When she finally stopped at the edge of the forest, I realized she had been helping me out of the forest, not playing a game. "Thank you," I breathed. I reached my hand out. My fingers grazed her soft, silky neck. I started to walk out of the forest and towards a road. I heard footsteps behind me and turned around. The gorgeous Equid was following me! I smiled. "You want to come with me?" I asked. "In that case, you'll need a name. How about Silver Rose?" The Equid nodded her head up and down, her eyes showing excitment. We went back to my home and there we lived together, happily ever after. The End... Or is it?
