So pretty! I think I'll try out!
~Melonpie~
Mel for short, or Melon.
Her name: I would name this elegant JBD Melonpie. To me, the name fits well, because the color of her coat resembles the shell of a honeydew, which is a melon. And adding the pie just makes it all that much better ;D
Her Personality: Melonpie is a big dreamer, and is filled with great ideas. She is very adventerous and observative, giving her the wide expanse of knowledge that she has today. She loves discovering new things, outdoors and in. She also loves to be with close friends, and she can't stand to be alone for more than a few hours at a time. She has an empathetic heart, and she is quick to help solve somebody's problem, whether it concerns her greatly or not. She won't stand for bullying or fighting, but she is also vexed by those with victimitis (when you beleive that the world is out to get you). Sometimes, when she is annoyed beyond a certain point, Mel might lash out with words. This may also be the case when her inferiors (such as students, little cousins/siblings) try to take over, or act as if they are the boss of themselves and not she. Benign though she may be, she has the occassional unkind thought, but she quickly rebukes herself.
Overall, Melonpie is kind, creative, a tad snappy (rarely), and intellegent on some levels. Her Story: Melon was born in a fertile valley, filled with all kinds of plant and animal life. After about one year, she had already learned and memorized all of the plant and animal names. She even knew which plants were poisonous, and which animals were dangerous. Soon she left her parents--her teachers-- to go and explore, hungry for more knowlege. Her travels took her all over the planet, down winding rivers, under tall trees, through humongous plains, accross oceans, until she finally reached where she had always dreamed of visiting: the mountains. She arrived at a large range of mountains, dotted with pine trees and aspen trees. She made her home there, in the mountains, for she admired them so much. To this day, she loves to explore and discover, but Mel will always return the her mountain.

Short! Story: wip..... .. .
Leaves shifted under her paws as Melonpie sauntered through the woods. She gazed up at the tall pines and watched the birds flit back and forth between the coarse branches. Mel took a deep breath of the mountain air, smelling the rocks and tree sap in the breeze. A stream gurgled on nearby, running in the same direction that Mel was headed. She smiled excitedly as the pond came into view.
Melonpie arrived at the pond, a small depression in the ground filled with crystal water and fed by a silvery stream. As she bent her head to drink a peculiar noice reached her sensitive ears. A peeping, unlike the bubbly singsong voice of the warblers. Melonpie cocked her head and listened intently to the cheeps. It seemed to be coming from a patch of reeds by the waters edge.
Cautiously, Mel inched toward the quivering, peeping bushel of weeds, taking careful steps as to not scare away the culprit of the soft noise. She slowly parted the reeds with her paw, revealing two frightened, little ducklings.
"Well hello there," Melonpie said in a surprised, yet soothing voice. "Are you juys lost?" she asked sympathetically. Her heart ached at the thought of being lost herself, with no one to guide her.
As she looked down at the two little bundles of down, Melonpie noticed how thin they looked. Not knowing what baby ducks eat, it dawned on her how serious the situation was. "We have to find your mother," she said to the ducklings, "and fast!"
Gently, Mel cradled both ducklings in one arm and held them protectively against her chest. She felt how weak the two were from their lack of struggle. If I were a little duck, I would definitely be scared if a big dragon picked me up, Melon thought as she hobbled around the pond's perimeter.
After walking around the entire pond, Melonpie still hadn't seen a sign of a mother duck. "Where else would your mommy be?" she wondered aloud to the ducklings. She pondered for a moment on where else a duck might be near here. After a couple of moments, Mel's eyes brightened, "That's it!" she exclaimed as she realized where the ducklings' mother could be found. "Hang on duckies, we're going for a ride."
Melonpie loped as fast as she could on three legs, headed for the lake. Soon after a quick hobble through the woods, the shimmering surface of the lake came into view. Melonpie was panting, but she smiled, releived to have reached her destination, the two baby ducks still cradled safely in her one arm. Squinting against the sunlight, Mel walked up to the edge of the water and peered out accross the lake.
There on the water she saw a small white shape followed by another, smaller yellow shape. She smiled even giggled a little, feeling overjoyed for the lost ducklings. "Okee dokee, off you go," she said, setting down the yellow bundles. She nudged them gently toward the water, evoking a few agitated squawks. Melonpie huffed, "Do I really need to escort you?" she asked.
As if to confirm Melonpie's inquiry, one duckling, with a flap of it's small wings and a waggle of the tail, chirruped happily. Despite herself, Mel smiled at the little duckling's enthusiasm.
"Alright," she said kindly, "Let's get a move on." Melonpie waded into the water and looked behind her. To her delight, the two little water birds were paddling after her. ... ....... .. .wip Why you want: She's so pretty <3 I'm in love with her simple design and colors! When I saw her, I was all like, "Hey, I can totally see myself hugging that baby." And I really wish I could, too!
Will you rp with her?: I would love to, but only in a seimi-lit RP. I don't think I would quite enjoy the existing JBD roleplay. I would love to make one myself, but I'm not sure how many people would join.
The fruit?: Honeydew
(I think two people already guessed this..), Butternut, or.. eh, coconut
