Why do you want to adopt? I love small mammals, especially rodents. I used to have hamsters when I was younger and they were so fun and cute. I want to get a gerbil or another hamster, but i'm not allowed to since we have 2 dogs now:< Rodents are great animals and for being so small they sure do have quite big personalities, they had more personality than the birds i also had when I was younger x3 The red eyes are also very nice, me and my sister always wanted to have an albino animal because of the red eyes, they're so unique and adorable although they just creep my parents out when we see them at the pet storeXD This particular one's markings go good with my fursona's markings also. My fursona, Larkspur, has only one marking under her eyes making her a very simply designed character, though not exactly a simple character. Her design is used to show that the outside doesn't always reflect whats on the inside. In her case, a simple design doesn't mean a simple personality. Her personality is quite diverse and I hope that Natsume's personality will grow the longer I have him and also become even more diverse than it is now. Overall, he will become what most of my main characters show, a complicated being in a simply designed skin, a great example of

Personality:
Curious - He loves to explore new territory and find new things. He is eager to greet new people, though not everyone is eager to greet him. New foods and toys will not go unnoticed by him, he has to sniff and nibble them until he does anything else.
Kind - Natsume is a kind-heated rat who loves to sit on your shoulder. He is always there for you when you feel sad and is always extra nice to guests. He tries not to get in trouble and also tries to keep others out of trouble.
Playful - Natsume is a playful little rat who loves tubes and wheels. He will gladly play hide and seek with you, though he usually wins with all the small places he can fit into. He also likes obstacle courses, though he can get a bit frustrated if they're too hard.
Noisy - This rattie loves to make noise! You always know when he's happy by the little squeaks he gives out, though watch out, when he squeaks loudly he is usually quite frustrated and wants to be alone for a bit.
Daring - He's always up for a challenge or dare and tries his best to complete it. He can be quite fearless and is quick to volunteer for potentially dangerous tasks/activities. Though this isn't always a good quality, he is quite proud of it.
Quirks: Natsume loves to run up peoples' sleeves and hide in long hair/fur. He enjoys shredding tissue/toilet paper. His favorite activity is pulling apart string and/or dragging it around. His favorite foods are dried banana chips, pomegranate, and carrots. He dislikes kale, cucumber, getting gum stuck in his fur, bugs, and gooey/sticky things.
What do you plan on doing with your rat? I want to make him a companion animal with my fursona, Larkspur. I will get and make art of him, perhaps write some short stories, and give him a home on my character site:3 I might also RP him if I have the time.
If you feel you can no longer care for your Rat, will you return it here to find a new home? Of course, I want him to be in a home where he will be taken care of and happy^^
