I Am Poem ;;
I am one of few words.
I wonder about the world's mysteries. We've only touched the very surface of everything we can do...who knows what can be found, accomplished?
I hear the murmur of the brook, the wind in the trees..and I am glad I am free, away from the city and the hectic life of normal Kiamaras.
I see blue sky, green leaves, golden-amber sunshine...the colors of nature. I like it this way. I like nature.
I want for nothing. I have no need for friends or mate, nor speech or emotion...I am at peace.
I am one of few words.
I pretend that...maybe...I don't need to take action. Perhaps, maybe, that I can hide all my life. But sooner or later, something will make me return to the city...
I touch the jewels I find, the precious gems I squirrel away in my den. Their smooth-cut, gleaming surfaces soothe me.
I worry that someone will steal them- or worse, steal my peace. The quiet is what I strive for.
I cry...? No, I do not cry. Not of happiness, sadness, or anger. Because I feel no emotion, because I have peace.
I am one of few words.
I understand that I can't learn everything...can't achieve everything...but I'll always try.
I say very little...speech is of no import to me. What needs to be said, can be said wordlessly.
I dream that everything I strive for, all my goals, will be achieved...but such is the nature of dreams, only dreams.
I hope that one day, others will understand my ways...and find their own way to peace.
I try to keep away from others...but I must do something with the jewels I hoard. But others are...frightening...and especially loud.
Yet, after all, I am one of few words.

what I would do with her ;; Roleplays.
Her life as a pixel will basically be full of roleplaying. Friends,
enemies, and definitely romance. Though not immediately, I
really want to find her a mate- mostly because it'll be
interesting to see how she'll react to others, as she's very
antisocial. I would also get more art of her than the
allotted 3 for this contest.
what makes my form unique ;; The entire point of my form
was to express as much personality as possible. Though my version of her
doesn't reveal much, I centered my form around
showing her traits creatively. You will see that each
art piece shows at least one attribute of hers. In addition, I
included an "I Am" poem written by this girl herself to give
deeper insight to her inner-workings.
Hopefully, I impress you enough to call her mine!

nickname ;; Azul
name meaning ;; Lazulite is
a gemstone, often deep-blue-colored. It is easily confused with
lapis lazuli, which this Kia was originally named after. The word
lazulite itself either comes from the German word meaning "blue
stone", or the Arabic word for "heaven".
Azul is her nickname, and while it *is* Spanish for blue, it's
pronounced differently (more like uzul).
Raidan is a version of Raiden, which is Chinese/Japanese
for thunder and/or lightning.
Lapistanne is an extension of "lapis", again tribute to
her previous name.
reasoning behind name ;; Azul's previous name was Lapis Lazuli,
and while I wasn't a fan of that specific name, I
went on the same limb and so, Lazulite.
Raidan is a bit of an inside joke, so I'm afraid I can't
tell you about it!
Lapistanne...I wanted another reference to her
previous name. "Lazuli" was too close to Lazulite, and
"Lapis" didn't sound right.

pretty stone, so I'm glad it's my name and

personality ;; Lazulite is a Kiamara who periodically
stops talking. It's not absolute- for instance, if
asked a question, she'll answer- but it's a more
peaceful, quiet, reflective way of life for a
time. Perhaps a week out of each month is Azul's
"selectively mute" range. Otherwise, she returns
to normal- although that's not much different,
as she lives alone and away from others. She has
a strong dislike of socializing
and rarely ever interacts with other Kias. Azul is
a bit of a pack-rat, tending to hoard things if said
thing strikes her fancy. In particular, she hides away
scores of jewels- Lazulite is an incredibly talented
miner, easily able to fashion pickaxes from wood
and then creating stone ones to mine out
gemstones she locates with a sixth-sense-like
ability. A rather honest Kiamara, she makes a
point to always tell the truth, although it
might be too straightforward- her honesty leads
to bluntness in most cases. Lazulite is very strong
and determined. She always gives 110% if she commits
to doing something, and accomplishes each
goal she sets. A hard worker, Azul never
gives up. Azul is an ambitious Kiamara and never
stops striving for new goals. However, she has rather
prevalent OCD, and is very precise in everything she
does. She is persistent, too- and that includes in her
questions. Though she considers herself philosophical,
not curious, Lazulite has many questions, and
never stops asking them. As a result, she's a bit naggy.
