.:~ Who is Dezel Trice? ~:.
Dezel Trice is a rather famous author, that goes by the publishing name Light Clyde. He is known for having written several best selling novels, however he remains a mystery to the public. His true name and appearance has never been revealed to the public, due to him fearing the hate he might get if he does choose to reveal himself. His main passion in life is writing, however his slightly frail health is keeping him from being able to write to his full potential.

He currently lives in England; London, and has lived there his entire life. His mother is however half-french, with his father being pure British. He has a younger sister as well, but rarely see's here due to her moving away to study in France. He is very close with his sister, and always looks forward to when they can meet again. He isnt very close with his distant family such as cousins and such, they have meet and socialized, but never really hit it of. There are however exceptions to his distant family relationships.


Dezel's health is rather frail, meaning he often gets sick. It's unsure whether its something that should be labelled 'serious' however it does make him weak at times, and unable to do what he wants to do. He has always had a frail health, even during his younger years.

.:~ My Wonderful Career ~:.

Dezel has always adored writing, even from when he was little. He has always had a lot of freetime due to his fragile health, and lack of friends. That time was mainly spent creating worlds of his own, onto words and papers. Not only did he write, but he also drew a lot when he was younger. However as he grew he found out that his passion was mainly writing, and therefore shifted all his time into developing his writing skills.

He acquired his publishing name Light Clyde from two things. Firstly the name Light was chosen because he wanted his books to light up the days of the readers. He wanted it to be special, and not just an ordinary book you read and forget about. He wanted to leave a special feeling after reading it, and a sense of accomplishment. The name Clyde however was chosen because that was the name of his late uncle. He always adored reading Dezel's silly stories when he was younger. Even if the story had a very bad plot, or horrid characters Clyde would still praise him, and give him chocolate as a reward. This is why til' this day Dezel cannot write a story without chocolate.

Dezel's Personality

Dezel is a very shy and timid individual. He rarely speaks, unless spoken to. And often answers sentences in very short answers, or even gestures. He gets easily nervous in situations other people tend to handle like nothing. Something you might notice is that he hides his face quite often, due to him becoming nervous when he makes eye-contact. He also has a slight trust issue, due to several people in his life that has left him, both close friends and distant families.

His frail health also seems to distance him from people, it especially did so during his child years. His parents were very overprotective of him, and therefore he hardly got any freedom to play and socialize like a normal child would. This might perhaps explain why he is so shy and timid in his older years. However this is also the reason he is so good at writing, being forced to stay at home with nothing to do writing soon became a passion. And with daily practice he became quite good at it as well.

When writing he almost feels like a completely different person. When he is 'Light Clyde' he feels like he is able to do anything, and his nervous and timid personality almost disappears. He turns very confident, and therefore you'll notice a slight change in his personality when he is working. However he will overall still be the shy and timid plummie, that everyone tends to ignore.

Quirks:
-Dezel tends to read the last page of a book before starting it, even if it will most likely spoil the entire story.
-When writing he always needs to have chocolate beside him, or else he wont be able to do it.
-He dislikes it when people touch his feathers.
-Tends to repeat stuff, without even thinking about it.
- He automatically turns quiet when someone mentions his author name, afraid that me might expose his identity

His Positive traits:
Hardworking:
Good results wont come from just sitting around! That is at least Dezel's motto. He believes that hard work is always rewarding, and therefore always works until his goal is gained. He tends to put work before 'fun' and that is the reason he has gotten so far in his carrier. He may sometimes overwork himself however, and often puts his fragile health to the limit.

Caring:
Dezel is a person that will always put other peoples needs before himself. He is supporting, and will never back down from helping a friend in need. He is also very thoughtful, and able to see 'both sides of a coin', and will support his friends no matter what.

Loyal:
In connection with caring Dezel is also very loyal. He will never abandon his friend in need, and is a friend for life. That is the reward you get for taking time and effort into befriending him, endless loyalty. He will support and protect his friends and family from whatever may harm them, without questioning or hesitating. He is also loyal to his work, if he sets his mind to do something, it will be done. Whether it being planning, writing or publishing, he'll always try to complete it.

Kind:
Dezel always treats people kindly, even if they do not do the same to him. He has a very kind and forgiving heart, and tends to never hold a grudge. He is overall a very kind, caring and lovable little guy, that has a slight hard time of showing it to non-close people.

His negative traits:
Paranoid:
Dezel is very paranoid when it comes to certain things. He tends to think of the bad outcome in almost everything, and prepares himself for the worst. This may sometimes contribute for the good however, due to the immense happiness he receives one he realizes it has gone well.

Social anxiety:
What other handle as nothing Dezel turns nervous of instantly. He has a hard time socializing with other people, and tends to hide his face with almost anything available. It's nothing personal, he just doesn't handle social situations very well. He tends to get frequent panic attacks

Secretive:
Sometimes one secret can build up into several big ones. That is the case with Dezel. His secret at Light Clyde has made several smaller ones, due to him always having to lie to family (non close) or friends about work related stuff. Later on he has been getting a bigger and bigger tendency to lie about stuff, even non work-related ones. He actually hates this about himself, due to him feeling immensely guilty afterwards.

Timid/shy;
Sometimes Dezel just wants to hide, and not speak to a single soul. I'ts hard to be as shy as he is, and having it block his happiness and needs. He gets nervous when he has to speak to strangers, even for the most simple stuff such as ordering food or buying items. He tends to avoid eye-contact, and usually mumbles short answers along with unclear gestures. He also stutters when he becomes nervous.

.:~ Friendships ~:.

Ashton Akane:
Ashton and Dezel are very close, and might even be considered his closest friend. Ashton is one of the few people to know the fact that he is Light Clyde, and that is a secret he doesn't give away to just anyone. Even though these two Plummies couldn't be more different personality wise they are still pretty close despite so. Especially since both of them have frail health's, they are both understanding and patient with each other. Even though the grumpy little plumerian has a tendency of pushing Dezel away, he knows its never personal meant. l

Midas:
Midas and Dezel have been friends for as long as they can remember, despite the slight age difference. During Deze'ls childhood it was pretty much just Midas and Pluto he can rely on as friends. And he was lucky enough to meet Midas through their parents. At first he was very shy, and almost refused to talk to the newly introduced Plumerian, however soon he grew attached to him. And now they are the closest of buddies <3

Pluto:
These two are childhood friends, and Pluto was one of his only friends during his childhood years (except for Midas) These two have a personality that is quite similar, meaning that they could both understand and comfort each other during hardships. They've stuck together for a long time, and have always supported each other. Pluto has been there during his fragile health times, and Dezel has been there for him when no one else was.

~What about enemies?~
Dezel does not have enemies that he is aware of. His personality is so shy that he wouldn't be the kind of guy that gets into trouble. Light Clyde does however have several haters, like any author would have. He doesn't seem to mind them as much, but they are one of the main reasons he is afraid of revealing his identity.

.:~ Hopes and dreams ~:.

Hopes:
Dezel puts hopes and goals in the same category, and therefore his biggest goal in life is to overcome his shyness. He hates not being able to let out his opinions or share his thoughts and dreams with people. He wants to be social, but there is just something in his body that simply prevents him from doing so. So sadly he still has a very long way to go, to achieve that dream.

He also wants to finally get rid of his frail health as well. He has suffered with it all his life, and it has sadly given him many disadvantages. He wants to finally become healthy, so that he doesn't have to suffer through his restrictions anymore. The fact that he has to go to the doctor so often, just for the regular checkup is quite stressful, and scary for him; especially since he is afraid of them in general. Therefore that is one of his biggest hopes. Sadly its only something his body would be able to determine if it can become true or not.

Dreams:
His books tend to be unknown to the public outside of England. And therefore his biggest dream is to write a novel that will be acknowledged in other countries, and perhaps even end up as the best selling novel in Europe. Don't get him wrong his work is pretty known outside of England as well, he just dreams of an even bigger expansion on his beloved, loyal readers <3

.:~ Fears and Phobias ~:.

Phobias:
Dezel doesnt have many phobias, due to it not being large enough to be considered a phobia. He does however have two, and he will usually do anything in takes to avoid a situation involving either of these:

Arachnophobia-The fear of spiders:
Dezel is simply terrified of spiders, even though they are so much smaller than him. He finds them creepy, and hates the fact that they always seem to follow him wherever he may go. No matter if its a simple house spider, or a large tarantula he hates them all on the same level. Upon the sight of one he easily become jitterish, and has a hard time of relaxing knowing one is in the same room as him. Therefore he'll always need help of someone to get rid of it, since he'll never be able to do it himself.

Aichmophobia- The fear of needles:
Needles of any sort Dezel tends to be very afraid of. He has had bad experiences with the doctors as a young child, due to him often having to go there because of his frail health. And this has led him into associating anything needle-related to the doctors. Therefore he'll do anything to avoid anything that has to do with it, whether it being a regular check up at either the dentist or the doctor. It's simply a fear he'll never grow out of.

Fears:
Minor fears include heights, thunder and losing someone dear to him.
As a young child he has never been quite fond of heights. It's not due to some tragic experience or anything, he just gets uncomfortable while in a large height. His paranoid personality trait might be his connection to the height fear, due to him always thinking the negative of any outcome.
As a young pup he never liked thunder either, it's a fear he outgrew once he got older, however at times he may not still me 100% comfortable with it.
And the fear of losing someone dear to him is a common fear many people have. After losing his late uncle Dezel seems to have become very frightened of experiencing the same pain and loss.

One of his biggest fears however is starting a book, and being unable to finish it due to his frail health. It may not seem like a big deal for other people, but truth be told he is simply terrified that it may happen. He thinks that he'll fail his loyal readers if he doesn't complete a promised project, and therefore always gets nervous once he has started something.

Get to know Toxic:
Hello, dear reader! I thought it'd be a good idea to claim a small part of this form, just to talk a little bit about myself, and why i want this gorgeous little plumerian. I'll not come with some sob 'story' to make you guys feel sorry for me, because in all honesty i don't have one, and therefore this form will be all honesty. First of I can say that i currently am a non-owner, that has been stalking this lovely species for quite some time. I had tried out for a few of them, but i had never found one that clicked 100%, at least until i met this lovely boy. To be honest i tend to stay away from 'impress me contests' just because i have a hard time of staying motivated when i view other peoples forms. I did however make a vow to myself, to be able to finish this form, knowing i did the best i could. So even if i do not win him, i could be proud that i tried something i normally am not too fond of, and was happy with the results either way <3
As for reasons on why i think i deserve him, i'm going to be 100% honest. First of i'd like to say that i do not think i deserve him any more than all the lovely entrants. HOWEVER if i do win him i know deep down in my heart that he wont rot. He will be a spoiled little character, that i will order tons of art of, and try to RP as often as my school schedule will allow me to.. I'll develop him even more than i thought i'd ever do to any character, and i'll make him the most spoiled little shy book nerd of them all ;v;

And he'll of course hold a special little place in my heart, because i see so much of his little shy personality in me as well <3
