- Floor -

Floor continued on his mission through the lands. The forsst he had walked in before had been very light with few trees and much open space. Now however the forest had become dense, the path nothing more than a tangle of roots and rocks and the sun wasn't visible from under the thick canopy the trees made. It was a little spooky but nothing too bad. He was still in high spirits from when he found the first crystal. Speaking of, the crystal had been safely stored in the bottom of his large backpack amongst the things he brought but didn't know why.

The woods was also a place Floor had always liked being in since he was a young kit so a bit of spooky sounds wouldn't scare him. He knew that if something rustled it was just a blackbird like always. It was also hard to find a place frightening when you had met a few friendly and completely normal kalons there. He was not looking forward to The Lavalands though.

"We did it folks!", yelled Apollyon, excited they unlocked a new area in their journey. A dark and spooky forest from afar, that didn't scare them though. For Christ sake all three of them spent more time than you can imagine underground in an intricate tunnel system! Since living their, they'd well adapted to traveling in the dark, darkness such as forest.
"What is this, the second area of five?", ask Rossa.
"Yeah actually think.", replied Roxanne. Rossa rolled her eyes at the thoughtless reply.
"I meant, we cleared an area in what? 4 days maybe? We got this in the bag.", she replied snarky and egotistic as ever. The two rolled their eyes at the ego maniac standing in front of them. So full of herself yet and quick to jump on others. She led the journey into the forest as the two others drifted behind.
"Who made her queen?", joked Apollyon.
"Okay first, I can hear you. Second, I was born to it I'll have you know.", she replied getting herself lost in the trees. The forest was unlike what they had seen, which honesty isn't much as again, underground for years, but their was just... something magic to it. Besides the monsters that lay inside of course.

"Ugh, this place gives me the creeps. There's no sun!" Gale complained, huddling close to Mike as the group traversed through the dark woodland. Adelaide chuckled.

"That's good. If there was sun, monsters wouldn't come around here as often." The blue female explained matter-of-factly.

"Noo, that's exactly why I don't like it here!" Gal retorted, tightening her grip on Mike's arm. The male didn't mind- in fact, he hardly noticed. He was too busy taking in the sights (or, what he could see through the darkness) and smells of the woodland. Mike had to agree with Adelaide-- it was better for them to head this way, even though it was more dangerous. He didn't have to worry about Gale not having magic or weapons anymore. The fight in that poor bar proved that she could handle herself alone. Adelaide was more than adept in battle, and Mike had... well, his voice, and a dagger if things got bad.

"Can't we go around and just say we went through the forest?" The red female whined.

Mike smirked. "Now where's the fun in that?"

Featuring: Azrael + Hera

The day after Azrael and Hera had gotten the crystal and beaten off the creatures, they noticed that a lot of people were leaving. Azrael frowned and glanced at Hera as he noticed that a lot of them were heading to another, even spookier forest than the first. “Great…” She said as she already looked stressed and started following everyone onto the faded trail. Azrael followed very close behind and didn't like the feeling that he was getting from this forest. His back was crawling as he felt the eyes of many creatures on him but when he turns his head to look for something to blame for this uncomfortable feeling that he kept getting. Hera, meanwhile, wasn't too freaked out by it. This was her habitat! She was strongest in the forest and felt more confident than Azrael did. She turned her head a bit to see the tense angel staring at her with paranoia in his eyes. Azrael hated the forest with all of his heart. “It'll be fine, angel.” Hera chuckled a little bit. “Surly we won't get lose here!” She chimed happily. Azrael, though, doubted that.

As the two were walking, the climate suddenly changed. It was really muggy out now and the air seemed super dry. Elfie frowned as there was no breeze and she just let out a huff. The two of them have unknowingly stepped into the new area and they kind of just paused. Where were they? Kachel turned around and looked behind them, there was no trace of the pedestal where the crystal was placed upon, there were only rows and rows of trees. "El? Have we always been in this forest?" Kachel asked, and Elfie looked behind them as well, "No..? I didn't even notice that we were here.." She spoke, her stomach growling, "Hey, Kachel? We have any food?" She questioned, and he just nodded while taking a granola bar out of his bag. Thanking him, she opened it up and took a bite.

The forest kind of had an eerie feeling to it, and there were many parts that were extremely dark. Elfie took a potion off of her belt and held it tightly in her hand. What was she going to do with it exactly? She honestly didn't know. But the potion repelled the monsters from the two, so maybe she'd pour some on herself and onto Kachel, just in case. It felt like someone was watching them as well, but who? Who could possibly be there, watching them? "Kachel? Do you think there are more people out here?" She asked, her voice quivering slightly as she looked around. She was never one to get scared, but in this situation,
and after what had happened earlier, she was pretty scared.

Pip wasn't particularly excited to travel into the forest. From the outside of the forest, it seemed unwelcoming in many ways. The trees loomed at Pip, and once and a while dully coloured beetles would crawl out rocks and go back in. Not to mention the amount of plants Pip couldn't identify at all. Hopefully none of it is poison ivy. Pip thought, trembling with fear. With a gulp, Pip went into the forest. It was awfully eerie, and she could've sworn she heard strange hisses. Pip wanted to scream, but she stayed shut. Pip walked a tad bit further, and heard a squish-like sound. Looking down, Pip saw a small gloop of mud, surrounded by all sorts of creepy crawlies. Pip couldn't help but shriek. "I did not sign up for this." She mumbled, slowly taking her leg out of the mud. Pip shivered and decided to move on. She decided to look for something to calm herself down, like a pretty flower or an animal that wasn't so terrifying. After venturing about for a bit, Pip came across a stunningly beautiful orange flower. Unlike most of the things in the forest, it was bright and vibrant. Pip admired it for a second, before reaching for it. But at touch, she heard a loud growl, which made he scream and run off. "REMIND ME TO NEVER PICK UP A RANDOM FLOWER AGAIN."

For once in a while they're all getting along well with one another and ready to continue.
Aeryn is talking to snow while Asami is just trying to keep up with them, she seems very
tired, she kept walking without realising that Aeryn and Snow stopped, they were standing
in front of a different part of the forest, it was dark and noisy, you coudn't barely see what
was inside the trees that blocked the way, Snow seemed to be quite scared.
- Sam sweetheart i think it's best for you to stay close to us this time, said Aeryn worried.
Asami was standing looking to the ground, her legs were shaking, she coudn't see the forest
but she could feel that something wasn't right, she took a few steps back and Snow and Aeryn
got close to her.
- Hey is everything ok kid? - Asked Snow
- No.. This forest.. It's just not fine, it seems it's asking for help, it's scared.
- The forest is scared? - Asked Aeryn
- Can't you feel it? - Said Asami
- No i don't think so - Said Snow
Aeryn gently touched Asami's nose, it was so cold. - Don't worry, has long as we stick together
nothing will harm you.
Aeryn's fur was so welcoming, Asami closed her worried eyes for a second. Snow took one of
he's sword and the sound of it scared Asami.
- Well we'll have to get passed those vines someway.

Snow took the lead holding the sword, while Aeryn was walking along with Asami.
And so they went into the scaring dark forest.

Day 5 Prompt
My Party
While two our of the three men seemed fine with traveling through the forest, there was one who was pretty apprehensive about it. The plant life wasn't something Bromine knew about about, and overall made him fairly nervous as the abnormal shadows on the forest seemed to suffocate him, as he greatly disliked the dark. "Its ok, its ok, just follow the decent man with the lantern." He would mutter to himself, sticking close to Reed, as he was the one with the light, besides the glowing eyes of Silvio, and the dull, stream-like glow that emitted from the tallest male's mouth as he spoke. "The farther we get, the darker it gets, the trees cover more and more," Bromine chimed quietly, a sigh following, "Do we have to go, we can still turn back..." Bromine rambled. "We already got one crystal, Bromine, so our best course of action is to find more, the dark will soon be gone, just wait, we are waiting for the fireflies to spread their wings." Reed tried to soothe Bromine the best he could.
The shadows slowly grew sharper, only for small bits of time, as the fireflies shine their light, revealing the knarly trees that seemingly stretched forever, "Well, let us continue," Bromine sighed.
