Solace has a very contradicting personality. He's introverted and shy, not liking lots of Viscet interaction, yet, he's an extremely talkative lad. He'll talk to you about whatever topic springs to his mind; from tennis to hunting. He's a sweet and caring lad, often doing small, kind acts throughout the week. Such as helping an old lady cross the street, or giving little Viscets back their toys when bullies come along and steal 'em. However, he can also be mischievous and a bit of a joker, messing with people and playing pranks on strangers. His mother often says he's like an angel that was kicked out of heaven; good sometimes, bad others. There have only been two times where his two different sides took it to the extreme. But you'll hear about them later.
Going on from that, you've got his more protective side. He is a great friend to have because of it. He's not too clingy with his protectiveness, but he's very good at observing situations and acting appropriately; from kindly asking to talk to you to fighting tooth and claw to protect you. Don't insult his friends if there is even a little chance of him hearing about it, because he's not one to just let that kind of thing slide. Don't be fooled by his positive attitude, he can stand up for himself too. He can be caring and compassionate when he wants to be, and if the situation calls for it, his serious side will show. He can go from being the friend you'd want as backup in a dark alley, to the friend you'd call to cheer you up when you're sad in the blink of an eye.
Moving on from protectiveness, Solace can also be a good at debating. He will fight for what he believes in, debating topics back and forth, and sometimes you can't tell which side he's actually on because of how much emotion he puts into his speeches. His teacher suggested debating club to him after one English class debate, and he agreed he'd give it a shot, although he was quite reluctant to start off. When he got into it however, he made new friends and got to enter into competitions, furthering his skill and ability. His grades even improved because of it. he learned many different life skills from it, and he is extremely grateful for it.

Story
Past | Present
It was early when Solace left the house. It had been two days since the accident. His tears were thick as they splattered onto the pavement like raindrops. He glanced up at the sky, shielding his face from the harsh sun rays with a paw. How could the world be so bright when he felt so dead inside. He left his garden and headed down the street towards the small café. His tail dragged along the pavement after him as he walked. The one he wanted to be here, the one he needed, was gone. He sped up as he saw the shop. He had thought about the accident too much since it happened. Entering the shop, he stood in line; waiting. As he stood, images flooded into his mind, and before he could try and focus on something else, he was back in the moment....
Solace couldn't stand still as they stopped at the pavement's edge, waiting for traffic to pass. They were going to the new Aztec exhibition at their local museum. Solace adored mythology of every kind, from the Aztec gods, to the Romans and the Greeks. The museum was just across the road, and he felt slightly embarrassed at his excitement. A teenage Viscet and he was almost bouncing with excitement for a museum event. They crossed the road and entered through the large, golden, front gates. With lights and signs, they followed the path through to the reception and were let in. Each room had a different theme. While Aztec was the general theme, some rooms were based around a certain god, or a certain way of Aztec life. They took almost 2 hours to go the full way around, but the last room was the best. He was fitted or a set of Aztec armor, made specifically for the event. Once he got the right size, they left. Solace wasn't paying attention; he was too busy looking at the armor. he stepped off the pavement. He didn't see the truck coming. He didn't see his father running. Something crashed into him, and was sent flying across the road. When he sat up, he was on the edge of the road, and blood was running down the road towards the drain. His eyes widened as he saw the familiar golden fur of his father, un-moving on the ground. Sirens blared. His father was dead.
He walked up to order, his face expression-less. That's when he heard the scream. He looked out the window. A car was hurtling down the road, a mother was running towards the pavement. But what shocked Solace most was the young Viscling in the middle of the road, staring at something in his hands. 'Lux!' The mother was screaming, but she seemed to be too far away from him. That's when Solace knew exactly what he was going to do. He sprinted towards the road, coffee forgotten. His feet barely touched the ground. He leapt suddenly; a leap of faith. The car was almost upon them as he crashed into the panda-patterened Vsicling, pushing both of them out of the way; just in time. The mother arrived at the pavement, just as Solace pulled himself off the ground. Lux sat up, eyes wide. When he saw his mother, he burst into tears, and ran into her open arms. It seemed so unreal to Solace, his heart beating fast and his head pounding. Lux had been looking at Aztec armor....
