☜ Apricot ☞
Apricot is completely incompetent (at least according to thistle) and cannot go more than two minutes without dropping something, tripping over something or getting lost.
Thanks to her inability to go to bed at a decent hour, she is well known for her frequent catnaps that happen anywhere. on the couch, outside next to a tree, any surface available.
Apricot is also very good with animals and plants, and often will use her magic to save Thistle's dying or sick plants. The same motherly instinct that kicks in whenever she notices Thistle's plants being neglected , even in the slightest, is what leads to her bringing home orphan or sick animals
I'm bigger then these bones ☾Thistle☽Thistle is more reserved and stoic , and rarely raises her voice, unless Apricot is in danger which is rather common. When Apricot wanders of, there’s a lot of thistle desperately trying to find her, and worrying because"where could she have gone? she's so tiny??” .
Thistle is overly protective, quiet and keeps to herself. She really likes plants and has a little garden full of them that she uses for her potions, spells and incantations. Even though Thistle loves her plants and treats them like they're her precious babies, they die rather often. Apricot’s usually in charge of the plants since not only does Thistle forget but she’s just not good with living things.

Apricot was watering Thistle's plants for her girlfriend while she was away on a
journey, when Apricot heard a tiny yelp. She turned around to see a small white tail
poking out from a bush behind her. She put her watering can down to investigate.
Apricot stepped towards the bush when she heard more tiny yelps and became more
confused the closer she got to the noise. The fox witch pulled apart the small branches
to see a little white rabbit writhing in pain. Though Apricot needed to get closer to
examine what was causing this critter's pain, when she attempted to pick the rabbit up,
it stomped and winced in pain. Deciding to take it slow Apricot fetched a carrot from
the house, (luckily always in stock thanks to Thistle's eating habits). When she came
back with the snack for the rabbit, Apricot was able to calm the little critter and see
what was wrong. A big thorn was stuck in it’s paw! She took the rabbit inside and not
only did she help get the thorn out, but discovered that the rabbit is pregnant too!
When it happens it's early in the morning, and Apricot hears the loudest screeching
noise she's ever heard ,and runs to check on Amelia (of course the rabbit has a name
by now) who was giving birth to 7 baby bunnies. A few hours later Thistle returned
home, and Apricot rushed to the door. After their big embrace Thistle was confused
to spot the 8 rabbits sitting on their little dinning table.
Thistle spoke out “what? Why are my children here?”(not seriously of course), and
then turned to Apricot to sign
“why? rabbits? how many?”
Apricot signed back "long story. yes" and “8,,, I think?",
which made Thistle laugh.
The next time Apricot helped an animal though, it was a bear that had
been caught in a bear trap.

Thistle grabbed her red satchel for gathering ingredients and took a few flasks
with her, only as many as needed, before heading out the door. The paper
listed " pinch of chives, dash of kingsfoil, pinch of pumice dust, half a handful
of grave dirt [ASK PERMISSION], 3 incense flower leaves, and some basalt dust”
, so she started heading down the path to the nearest village to gather everything
but the grave dirt.
By the time the sun had risen she was exhausted from trying to compromise with
the townspeople, who were always tricky and you had to double check what you
said to them. Thistle finally made it to the cemetery, not noticing that the grave
she kneeled in front of was unmarked and completely ignoring the note saying
"[ASK PERMISSION]" that she had left herself knowing the risk. She hurriedly
grabbed a fistful of dirt and put it in a flask, beginning her journey home.
Sadly, as the note predicted the spirit of the grave followed Thistle home.
The spirit had caused her to trip over 5 times, and almost drop her satchel in the
process. Luckily the rabbit witch made it home in one piece. As soon as Apricot
saw her she turned five shades whiter and signed "why?" "ghost?”. Thistle
hadn't noticed, so when she turned around and saw the blur of smoke following
her, she signed back a simple "I didn't notice”. Apricot figured out that she had
forgotten to ask them permission for the dirt Thistle must have taken and the
ghost confirmed her suspicions.
So she signed to Thistle “ Apologize. your mistake", Thistle quickly told the
ghost that she had simply forgotten, apologized, even showing it the note on
her list and the ghost understood. So Apricot decided to do the ghost a little
favor, they returned to grave, and asked the spirit what their name was.
Apricot proceeded to write their name on the blank headstone, which made
the spirt joyful enough to return to their grave. Apricot also quickly laid a little
spell for the ghost so that flowers would always blossom around it’s grave in
the spring, and create life even where death reigns..

❧Since Apricot is mute and Thistle doesn't talk much,
communication is mostly sign language,
or little notes left around.
❧Their relationship is very homey, and Thistle dotes
over her little fox.
❧While Thistle is a tiny bit overprotective
Apricot honestly doesn't mind.
❧ Their little house contains one bed
one couch, one fireplace, a dining table with three chairs
and lots of books an potion supplies.
