Ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ

With her face resembling a skull, one would think Ravan would attempt to act kind to those around her to put their initial thoughts of her to rest. In reality, Ravi could care less about what others think of her. She's very confident In herself (but not obnoxiously confident, she makes sure of that) which means any insults or rumors bounce off her. Despite all this, Ravi cares greatly for those around her and couldn't bear to see any harm come to them, she just doesn't show these feelings to everyone.

Being an introvert, Ravan finds it hard to socialize with other Xholis which is one of the reasons why she hasn't put the various rumors to rest. She dislikes being around more than two Xholis at once, and forget showing up a clan gathering. She'll just get the information from her mate Kali. Upon noticing her reaction to large groups and her keen, watchful eyes, it was suggested to Ravan that she become a Sentential. She would have the opportunity to patrol a smaller area by herself so she doesn't feel uncomfortable with another Xholi.

Ravan has a sensitive side, but doesn't show this often. She adores pups but is afraid to admit it, both to herself and others. She loves to watch them play and she wants to play with them, but she feels like she should save that affection for pups of her own. Ravan is surprisingly romantic and wants to find the right Xholi to spend her life with (and she does!).

Ravi's other hidden side is usually quieter than her sweet side, but it's very nasty and explosive when it shows itself. Ravan's anger is almost always triggered out of frustration. For example: when she doesn't want to do something, when someone doesn't listen to her direction, when she makes a stupid mistake, and when she concentrates for long periods of time are all triggers for her rage. Her anger manifests itself in her throwing things, snarling, attacking plants, and some times she'll start crying lava if she gets mad enough. These bursts of anger are violent and she tends to injure herself during these episodes. After this happens, she begins feeling empty and tired so she becomes scary calm, no expression on her face at all. She seems like a ghost after and scares everyone away with her blank stare. Well, everyone but Kali.

↪ Ｋａｌｉ'ｓ Ｉｍｐａｃｔ ｏｎ Ｒａｖａｎ

Ravan is still quiet and uncomfortable in large crowds, but she's much more at ease with 5-10 Xholis around her. It's easier for her to maintain a conversation with an acquaintance and she has more friends than just Kali now. She doesn't stress herself out anymore when things don't go the way she planned and she has a more carefree look to her and a slight bounce in her step. Kali has taught Ravan to be more bold and open so Ravan now plays with the pups whenever she sees them. She also joins in on group games which Xholis around her age and dominates at capture the flag. She has more control over her anger, but she still lashes out in the form of words if provoked. Ravan doesn't think she's affected Kali in any way, but Kali disagrees. Kali had never believed in love at all and had never wanted to be mated since she thought it took away her freedom. Ravan has proved her very, very wrong and Kali wonders how she ever thought she could live without love.


↪ Ｂｕｌｌｙｉｎｇ 'ｓ Ｉｍｐａｃｔ ｏｎ Ｒａｖａｎ

Ravan was always bullied as a child for her odd face markings that gave some children nightmares. They'd all stare at her and laugh and ask her who she ate for dinner. She was the target of spitballs, name calling, exclusion, teasing, and the odd shove into puddles after it rained. The more this continued, the more Ravan withdrew into herself. She used to be a very loud and outgoing pup, but she began to shy away from other Xholis and she stopped trying to make friends with them. No one ever stood up for Ravan in these days and that hurt her mentally. She had begun to think that she wasn't worth anyone standing up for her which is why it came as such a shock when Kali did years later.

Long after the direct bullying stopped (there's always whispers) Ravan still had trouble trusting others and mingling with more than three Xholis. Ravan gained a really thick skin after all that bullying and it's near impossible to make her mad with words now.


↪ Ｐａ ｒｅｎｔｓ' Ｉｍｐａｃｔ ｏｎ Ｒａｖａｎ
Ravan's parents were constantly fawning over Kali when she was a pup and they wondered why Ravan couldn't be more like her. She constantly heard "I bed Kali wouldn't act like that" or "Kali would do that cause she's a nice girl". One night, Ravan was walking to her parents to give them a gift that she she had been working on for a while when she herd her mom say "Kali is so sweet and talented, I wish Ravan were more like her..." Ravan had froze in horror, bit quickly recovered and marched to her parents, eyes dripping lava as she tossed the gift as far as she could. She had snarled and said "Then go find her and ask her if she wants to be your daughter because you just lost me". She left them right then and there, not looking back and never crying. It was through this event that she learned to mask her emotions so no one could see them. After all, how do,hurt/make fun of someone when they don't show any expression on their face? This is also where Ravan learned that even those close to you can betray you, so she stopped trying to make conversation with anyone so they couldn't hurt her later on.

Ｒａｖａｎ αи∂ Ｋａｌｉ

Ravan and Kali are an interesting couple. Kali is much more open with her feelings and her soothing voice and honey-like words can comfort anyone in any situation. Ravan and Kali knew each other when they were pups, but Ravan had always felt anger and jealousy toward Kali when she was young. Kali was always so perfect then (and she still is now). Everyone adored Kali for stunning simplicity and her beautiful personality with a pinch of sarcasm and mischievousness mixed in whereas Ravan was feared for her temper and the closed expression on her face. When she looks back on her childhood, she remembers Kali glancing at her worriedly whenever she excluded herself from activities. Kali always cared for her but had never really seem it.

After finding their job paths, Kali and Ravan rarely saw each other except for the odd glance of the other when one was patrolling and the other was hunting. Ravan soon began to realize that she admired Kali since she is everything Ravan wishes she was. This admiration turned out to mutual once the two managed to strike up a small conversation before their shifts. They began meeting when not on duty to talk or simply enjoy each other's company. While thinking about Kali and their next meeting during one of her shifts, Ravan made a big mistake which almost got her booted from the Moto pack. Upon hearing about Ravan's impending exile, Kali rushed over to her side and snarled, vowing to protect her from the harsh words of others and declaring that she'd leave too if Ravan was banned. The pack reluctantly agreed to let Ravan stay since many of them looked up to Kali for her kindness or felt like they owed her for the things she's done. They also saw the bond forming between the two and silently hoped that Kali could help Ravan change her ways. Ravan is still in awe of what Kali was willing to give up for her and has promised to never leave her side as long as she can breathe. Ravan is much more relaxed and gentle when around Kali and she's overall much more approachable. Ravan has discovered that she really enjoys cuddling with Kali while she weaves fantastic tales out of thin air. Her melodious voice always calms her and makes her feel safe no matter what.

tbh I really wanted someone to come up with a story about how they're deaf b/c fire + ear = dangerous but what you all came up with is really unique as well !
I chose this one because I liked how it incorporated another xholi in a postive way.
