It was given to them when they were little, and it's basically what got Shen interested into music at all.

favorite item & why: you see, Bandit is kind of, well, a bandit. there's
no specific object he loves, but when he sees an object he's interested in, he'll
steal it. he collects all kinds of things, from spoons to hats, buttons to crystal
rocks. but, his most favorable item, was not something he stole, but something
he found. he was walking in the desert one day, and found this little, miniature fern
bush. he dug it up, and found a pot he had taken from an abandoned green house,
and planted it in the pot. and ever since, he's been obsessed with collecting ferns.
he does take other's things once and a while, but when you walk into his home, all
you can see, for a mile long, are all these little ferns and succulents and plants. c:

favorite item + why wren's favorite item is a key chain that her feathered friend, reme, used to carry. the bird was a collector of all things shiny, and whenever the sun gleamed off of the key chain, it was found instantly and since that time the bird never let go of it. until one unfortunate day. when wren was chasing reme round the forest as they always did, they went out into a clearing where the grass raised high. wren was a petite little thing that stood at 20 inches, and the grass hid her well. she fell onto her tummy the second that a gunshot rang through the forest, accompanied by the sound of heavy footsteps. after a minute or so went by, she raised her head up and saw reme's limp body in the hands of a child who was standing next to his father. she collected the key chain, did a silent prayer, and was off back to her den with a heavy heart. a hatred built up for the two-leggers that did it to reme, though she would never act on it. she carries the key chain on her persona no matter where she goes, even if it's a short trip out to the stream and back. if she lost the key chain, she would feel that reme never really did exist and was just a figment of her imagination trying to conjure up a friend for her to have, as she is a particularly lonely kalon.

Mio's favorite item is his old paint brush he found in the middle of the desert its special to him because where he lives the folks dont really embrace creativity such as painting, it made a different part of him come out, an artistic side of his soul he learned to make paint and do a lot of other things to get him where he is today. He now travels the plains, deserts, forests spreading his artistic motives and creations, with the same paint brush.

favorite item & why: Their favorite item is a old statue that could fit in a human's palm of a carousel horse, made of cermaric, with the color of the saddle green, pink, orange, and yellow, and a rusted gold bottom. The carousel horse used to belong to grandmother, and sit in the desk in their room - many times, when passing through she'd see it. Her grandmother had got it from the local pier where a carnival is held every summer. When Jaclyn was about ten, her grandmother gave to her to keep so she'd always remember their home. She now keeps the statue on her desk, at home, so she can see it every day.

abalos gets nervous easily in public and crowds, they tend to fiddle with their marble when anxious. playing with the marble keeps their mind off their fears and soothes them. the marble is clear with a pinkish and light green center, the color is pink on one side and it melts into a lime pigment. abalos tends to get lost in deep thought while staring at the small spherical item.

favorite item & why: a calculator! Colliander is insanely smart, he is working towards a PhD. And is insanely gifted at math, he is currently studying Trigonometry, and calculus at Yale, and man does a calculator come in handy! You try finding the square root of 1,759 using only mental math.
