There is a small chunk of Lapis Lazuli embedded in the pendant. It is his favorite stone, and he found this gem in his favorite stream by his tree house home, which he had to abandon.

Smol story:
It was a fine day, a bit too warm though. Aspen was chilling in his tree house, which was quite fancy for a tree house. He heard a kinda loud whistling noise, an suddenly, the house burst into flames, along with the rest of the forest. Aspen one he had to escape. He knew he wouldn't be coming back, so he grabbed his lapis piece, and ran for it. He kept running until he couldn't feel his legs. He just then realized everything he ever had was burnt. There was no use going back. Aspen walked for hours, till he found a city. He needed shelter.

Aspen walked around the city, looking for a good resting place. People of all ages kept trying to interact with him, but he refused. He stumbled upon one human, who glanced at him. She smiled. Aspen smiled back. He knew this was the place.

Aspen followed the human, unseen but close behind. She walked a long road, one Aspen could barely handle. She walked so far, they started to exit the city. After another long walk, they reached a forest, where the human ducked into. There was a huge rainforest city. Aspen knew tho was the perfect place. Always damp, so it couldn't catch fire.

The human turned around

Aspen froze. The human rusted his hair, and went in her home, up in the giant tree. She invited him in, and Aspen couldn't let himself leave. From then on, he and the girl stayed together, drinking tea, having fun, and other things.

When he rested there fore the first time, the human gave him a green bandana and a place for him to sleep. Aspen gave her the lapis, because he adored their friendship. She took it. The next day she gave it back, this time, on a chain necklace.

From then on they did everything together, including walking to the city together

My pendant? It's actually two that I have put together.

Why that one/what significance does it hold?
Why? What do you mean why? Should that not be my own business?
It's always the same question. You're a guy, right? Why do you where such a feminine looking pendant?
The answer is quite simple, the pendants I put together are representations of my parents. The Elven star represents my mother, in fact, this was hers. The wolf represents my father, which was his. That is my reason for choosing one that looks so feminine, and one that looks masculine. They both have there own meaning to me and to me alone, they are both quite special to me and I always wear them, I never take them off. They are constant reminders of who my parents were and what they did for me, and also a reminder of what happened, all those years ago.

Around her neck Kella wears a silver chain with a bright green peridot gemstone. The peridot is a very spiritual stone mentioned throughout the Bible, however Kella does not really care about the stories that are told about the peridot. She cares more about what it is supposed to do for her.

Peridot is a stone of lightness and beauty. Only spiritual or clear-minded people should use peridot. Used in a necklace, peridot is a protector against negative emotions. This doesn't always work for Kella but she wears the gemstone to protect her from her dark past. When held in the light the Peridot sprinkles jade lights around, showing brightness and purity. This means lots to Kella as it tells her that not all hope is lost.
