Adelaide [AD-a-layd] [noble,kind]

▪ History (200 words max):
Adelaide was born into a rather large herd, consisting of her mother and father, of course, and several other pairs and their offspring. When born, her mother saw a sort of leadership in her, despite the fact that there was no official hierarchy within the Whelkon herds. Still, the mother had named her child Adelaide, meaning noble and kind. Her outlook on the Whelk was that she would grow to be tenacious and courageous, the supporter that the Whelkon species needed in the time of the human epidemic. Adelaide showed her first signs of leadership when she was still a Whelk and playing with her peers. Rather than a leader, however, she seemed to be a positive instigator among her friends and even the older Whelkon. It was her who thought of all the things the bored Whelk could do at random times, and it always ended with her returning home to her father with outrageous stories of what she saw and did.

Eventually, the humans had found her herd. It was a scene of tragedy as Adelaide hid in the brush with the few that she had gathered as they watched their families disappear, never to be seen again. Naturally, Adelaide took command and guided what little 'survivors' there were to a small herd in which they accepted them without hesitance.

I might make different ones later, this one kind of stressed me out a bit.. It looked way better before I colored and outlined it, so I'm not entirely happy with it's outcome. Oh well.

▪ Why you want this Whelkon (Few sentences):
First off, let me say that the Whelkon are simply beautiful creatures and the idea behind them is rather intelligent actually. I love their background and how you changed some of the basic structures of most animals to fit their unique style. [Such as the mother usually not staying with the Whelk, I thought that was neat. ^-^] The species overall are just amazing, each one of them is unique in their own little way! It would be an absolute honor to me as well, to have the first adoptable AWE. I want her not because she is rare, but because I feel she is beautiful and special and deserves someone who can see that beauty. That's why. (:
