Story-Glade and Seth were Jellybean Dragon siblings, and they were very close when they were younger. But as they grew up, they also grew apart, and went their separate ways. Now, through a miraculous reunion in harsh times, they realize they made a mistake in splitting.
Seth stared ahead, and Glade was right behind him. “I wish that this fight had never started,” she whispered. Seth kept his steely gaze on the battlefield ahead. “We need a good strategy,” he said in a strong voice. “Something to utterly obliterate them…” Glade looked up at him, an emotion something like fear in her eyes. “Seth, I’m tired of all this war. I want peace again,” she whispered. Seth turned his hardened gaze to her. “And I wish to win it,” he stated harshly. “Now, back to strategy…”
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a catapult projectile smashed into the ground in front of them, launched by the enemy dragons across the field. Seth was knocked backwards, sprawling, dazed, but alive. Glade let out a terrified wail, and took off into the burning forest.
“Glade!” Seth called, and sprinted off in pursuit of her, coughing in the smoke. “G-Glade!” he cried again. When he came to an unburning clearing, he stopped dead. Glade was in the center. Flames wreathed through the trees around the rim. And a pack of seven of the enemies were facing Glade. Seth’s heart stopped.
The leader snarled. “What do we have here?” he said. “A few little spies.” “Wh-wha?” Glade whimpered. “I-I’m not a spy!” The leader laughed, and menacing, chilling sound. “Yeah sure.” “DO we take prisoners?” one of the others asked. The leader’s blue eyes flashed.
“No.”
Even Seth’s hard heart plummeted as the leader attacked her. His paws stepped forwards a little, but he would only help her if she really needed it. He knew she might want to prove herself. Nevertheless, his breath caught with every blow.
At first, Glade matched his every attack, dodging nimbly and twisting upward to crash into his belly and send him flying. “Arrggg!” he snarled savagely as he roared in for the end. She desperately dodged, but the blow intended for her throat caught her cheek instead, and left a paw-shaped gaping hole. She shuddered, and passed out, collapsed on the ground.
Seth yelled. “NOOOOOOOOOOO!” He crashed into the leader’s side, knocking him over. The leader attacked back once he had gotten back on his feet, but Seth was just as good a fighter, and matched every single blow, landing a few of his own. Suddenly, another red-eyed dragon joined the fight, and eventually, Seth had some vicious scratches around his eye, and was panting.
The leader smirked and said “Now you have been marked. We can find you…” and disappeared into the fading flames.
Seth and Glade recovered in time, but always carried the markings, in respective color to the attacker’s eyes, where they were clawed. They are now always running away…
