Kalon Name: Aviaire Montgomery (French for Avian, meaning bird)
Gender: Male
Prompt Response:
Born in France, raised without a father, became an orphan at 12, he never had life
easy. Avi never met his dad due to a horrible accident during military flight training, leaving his poor mother defenseless.
With a heavy heart, she named him after the memory of his death,
and her sorrow. Every night she cooed to him
My dear Aviaire, someday you will fly, but for now give your wings a
rest. She was murdered when he was only 12.
Eventually, he took to the streets and lived as a traveling magician, using cheap tricks and
taking whatever he wanted. He ran into
Alcatraz at 14. They quickly became friends, sharing interests and thievery skills.
However, Aviaire was a better magician than Alcatraz and eclipsed his talents. This filled Raz with
envy and he began to seek weak spots and holes in Avi's preformances. Tensions
only grew when a lovely young girl became involved, they were 15.
Noelle was her name, she was flirty and bold. Avi was smitten, and Raz wanted her
bad.
Even though he could see she loved Aviaire, he thought he could win her over, he Challenged Avi. It was quite
simple, they could use anything and had a week to prepare the best magic trick. He was sure he'd win, so he said
yes. However, Alcatraz had no intentions of playing fair.
Once he was sure of what Avi was doing, he made his own plan to sabotage it. On the day of the event, an
unprecedented amount of spectators showed up. Aviaire was ecstatic, but also incredibly nervous.
The minutes ticked away and it was time for his performance. He stepped up to the platform secured the
rope to his harness. As he babbled on with his speech, he couldn't help but feel rocks in his stomach. But this was it.
Uncomfortable and nervous but ready as he'd ever be, he gave the cue to the man backstage. He began to rise and
sway, giving the illusion of flying. It was amazing, but short-lived. He felt the rope give way mid swing, sending him hurtling
through the air and landing in a heap in the middle of the audience, his trust for Raz as broken as his leg.
