He enjoys taking candy canes off the tree, and doing things with them, such as crafts. To him decorating the tree is the best part because you can get the most creative as you'd like, and you may put whatever you please on the tree to make it look nice. So he chooses to take candy canes and put them on. It also makes for a good midnight snack, if he were craving sugar. You'll mainly see candy canes around his house, and a peppermint smell. It's just his way of decorating for Christmas, it's his tradition. (97/100)

Holiday tradition; Balsam (goes by Bal), tends to reach out to the charities around his location. In particular, the orphanage. He grew up living in one of the orphanages and knows how lonely and sad it feels to be in there with no family. He wraps presents and bakes sweets and together with a few of helpers, he goes and spends hours at the orphanages. Passing out gifts, giving treats, telling stories and just bringing the Christmas Spirit to the orphan kits. Bal wouldn't spend those hours any other way.

Every Christmas eve, he and his family always traveled up the mountain together to stand beneath a large evergreen. The tree overlooked the valley that he and everyone he knew lived in. They'd make their wishes to the stars for the on coming year and sang or hummed quietly. As it grew darker they'd watch the town light up below with festive lights making everything seem all the more magical for the day to come.

father’s parent’s house and then to her mother’s parent’s ho
use to open presents. But the party starts when they get to h
er mother’s parent’s house. Each year the whole family puts
in around $100 dollars for giftcards etc. and then her mothe
r takes all those things and wraps them in 300 feet of plastic
wrap and you have to try to get as much stuff out as you can
with oven mits’ on. It’s quite entertaining to watch honestly
because Avalon always gets really mad trying to get the items
out.

Well, actually Dominic likes to go caroling with family and friends. He feels like it's a tradition that needs to stay alive, and it's important to him, since he did it as a child, enjoying the strangers face light up with Christmas joy when opening the door to carolers. He likes to sing with his friends and family, while also bundled up in the warmest of clothing. Dominic hopes to pass this tradition down to the children of the town, mainly so that when they grow up they can enjoy caroling door to door as he did.
