He hissed slightly while waddling after everyone, paws now almost fully numb from the cold. Well heck. This sucked. He flinched when in town; candy wolves ? Were they in a five years old fantasy ? Why yes. They were. He ignored the mayors warning of unfriendly wolves... a lot of wolves were unfriendly. Candy wolves were no different

" Bro I have an appropriate question for this situation- where are we and this is not a party s-" he stopped talking because he heard the scream. Oh god okay. Flapping his ears he nervously chuckled before narrowing his eyes behind his glasses- " Where's the exit. " he was done. Nope. Seconds before he was ready to go into that forest, now he was ready to just hightail it outta here. If he froze or got frostbite so be it, he just wanted to go. This place was nettling him.

The mayor looks concerned, but then smiles. "Oh, it's no big deal! It's nothing to worry about!" The mayor quickly responded to Davey's comment. "Ahh, I'm afraid there is no exit! You can see for yourself, if you like. It just... stops, after a while. You can't go any further. Head in any direction and you'll see." Do you see if the mayor is telling the truth? Kadyn landed on the cold, snowy ground, unable to continue her flight above the group due to the bitter cold. She frowned miserably, listening to the mayor, however she was a bit too busy taking in her surrounding as he spoke. What even... she thought, tilting her head slightly. I know this is odd to think but I wonder if they're edible... however she shook off the thought and widener her eyes as she heard the words 'No exit.'

"Wait what do you mean there's no exit?" She called out suddenly. Her tone was alarmed, but her voice still soft and quiet, yet slightly raspy from rarely beig used. She ran up to the front of the crowd to show herself to the mayor. "There has to be a way out. We can't be trapped here?" She added in, not really caring about her ebbing fear of talking in front of large groups. She felt her heart quicken and she darted away to test the mayors words, only to find him correct. She went right back to where she say the group standing, fear and tears shining in her eyes. "We're trapped." She rasped out.

It couldn't be, dove was supposed to be at home. "Dove? What are you doing here?" Sydney said, starting to fill up with alarm. If Dove was here then that meant that she was stuck here too. Now Sydney was furious. "Ok you better start making sense here mr," she said angry as she got up in the mayors face. "You think I'm deaf? I don't think so. I know a scream when I hear one, and that sir was a scream. And another thing, what's do you mean know way out? Obviously there's a way out cause we all came from our homes to the middle of the forest to be greeted by one of your folks who then brought us here. If there wasn't a way out then how did they meet us? You're not fooling anyone, and especially not me! I'm getting out of here and going home!" She huffed angrily and trotted over to her baby sister to shield her from the wind. "Come on, let's go, this was all a big waste of time. Party indeed. Hmpft!"

Maximus cannot believe the audacity of the 'mayor' guy. "It never ends, huh?" he said, chuckling lightly, "well I suppose I'll just make my way back to the spot where we entered your freaky little town and see if it's magically disappeared in the last few days!" He promptly turned himself around and continued back towards the clearing where they had met the mayor.

Max turned back to see if anyone was following him. Some of his pack mates looked like they were considering it, but most of them were too scared and confused to make a decision. When Max turned back to face forward, he felt as though he had hit a brick wall. He felt his snout throbbing from the impact. Confused, he reached out a paw, and felt as though there was in fact a wall in front of him, even though there wasn't one. Or was there? Heartbeat speeding up, he paced along the 'wall' to either direction. Not finding any cracks on this side, he turns around and darts away in the opposite direction, almost running over a local orphan in his state of panic. He was soon met with another smack to the face. He fell backwards onto the snow from the speed of this impact.

Max lay there, looking at the sky for a moment, thinking to himself "Oh my god, it's true. I just want to go home."

Chewie was busy thinking about the Candy Wolves. Were they really made out of candy? Did they taste delicious? His train of thought was abruptly crushed when the mayor told them there was no exit. "No exit?" He echoed, incredulous. "How does land just stop? How does that even look like?"

That made his fur slowly rise up along his back, tail now whisking side to side at a brisk rate. " N-no exit ? Sir, y-you clearly don't know your own t-town ! There has to be s-some way out ! " he sputtered, voice cracking now along with the occasional chattery stutter. This guy led him here into a trap ? He knew he shouldn't have trusted that freakish stranger- good god. He started to turn around, more scared than annoyed at the moment. So. He was trapped in candy land ?... Or they, they rather, were trapped in candy land with freaky wolves. Great. Before fully turning around he glanced back and tilted his head at the mayor. Was the mayor bluffing ? Did he want them to simply stay for.. unknown reasons and was keeping them here by saying there was no exit ? Whatever the reason he didn't care- he just needed to get out of here now. Pulling his blue scarf up to cover his nose he turned fully around and simply started to try and head back to where they came through... that exit couldn't just be gone right ?
