.:Why Did I Chose This Name For Her:.

I chose the name Tempest for her because she's blue with a dark blue layer on her back. Also the white designs is like a lighting type of strike from the clouds. There may not be any type of rain whatsoever in Isket, but she looks like a storm kind of weather. Even though that does not sound right, She does look like a thunder storm with lighting.

The blue is the ocean, the darker-blue layer is the sky, & the white is the bright lighting striking from the clouds.
Tempest, sounds like temper, she could have a very bad temper, if she wants to at the time.
Rain, describes her quietness of a personality. Queen is what represents her future.
Violent Storm, will be her in combat with a Kronador, one day, ALONE.

I never really chose a name just yet, but I will soon.
Those three names I have in mind, are what I might be naming her, if I win her.
Every name I so far have in mind.. Really describes her design.

The personality doesn't have to match her, but the design to her name is what makes it Unique.
She may be a teen, but as time goes on, she will soon be a strong and fierce Warrior of her own pack & family.

.:Why Do I Want Her:.

I've always wanted a WOI (Warrior Of Isket) since they were created by the beautiful TWG90.
I never knew they were open till I saw possibly the second litter open ready for adoption,
Then I just litterally started seeing them everywhere. Which persuade me to finally try and get one for myself. ?

I had so many oppertunities before this and well. I messed up and always got wrong or never got any art done.
Once, I laid my eyes on this wolf; I just couldn`t say no to it. I really want this wolf, but if I don't, I'll just die<|3.
But I will most likely be happy for whoever wins her. She is a very gorgerous warrior wolf.

She's a teen wolf, which makes the rarities of winning her is most hardest to find and to own one. She's very lovely, including her unique design she has on her body. Her long tail makes her even more beautiful than she already is. Everyone who owns a WOI already, is a unique, intelligent, and unique owner themselves. It's hard these days to own one of these beautiful creations.

I do not want them due to popularity or because they're 'rated high'.. I just want to own, love, and care for.
I would love to one day to own my very own warrior. C:

.Personality.

+ Positive +

Brave;

Tempest is very brave when it comes down to training and fighting a beast known as a Kronador. She may be scared when she is cornered but she will drop all her fears and move on to defeating the beast herself alone. She isn't the brightest out of all Teens in WOI community but she will show she can defeat a Kronador herself. She shows her teeth, nails, and her hair on her neck stands up.. From there, you know its time to leave her alone and let her fight her own battles to show she's ready to be not just a teen, but a warrior herself.

Adventurous;

Since she was a pup, she was always adventurous. She's a teen but nothing will change her from wondering off by herself and getting into trouble. Tempest is a stubborn yet brave teen warrior to defeat any trouble or mischief she gets herself into. When she goes off on her own she discovers new things everyday.

- Negative -

Very Shy;
Tempest, is a very shy, young teen wolf. She loves all new sights and new warriors like herself, but when it comes down to meeting new comers and fighting in groups for training, she will sometimes not participate or even join. She isolates herself from very big groups. Which sometimes affects her ability to train.

Day Dreamer;
Tempest always has her head in the clouds, whether training, or alone with other WOI teenies like herself. She always imagines herself on top of a pile of Kronadors dead and her standing on top of them very proud being praised by everyone in a congrats to her. She day dreams but nothing stops her from being what she wants to be.

.:Likes:.

+ Being A Warrior +
Tempest likes being a strong & bold warrior of Isket. There is nothing more to her than this.

+ Rabbits & Deers +
She eats this for a diet, but not as much.
As long as it helps her[:

+ Raw Meat +
Her favorite diet meal, even though she eats it everyday..

+ Freedom +
If she doesn't have freedom, what would she more than pleased to have?
She does NOT like to be smothered at all.

+ Seasons +
Spring & Summer are her favorite seasons. She never sees Winter or Fall, but if she did;
She probably wouldn't like it as much as the two seasons she lives with everyday, since she was born with them.

+ Bravery +
She may have fears as well as shyness, but bravery is what she shows most of the time.
During close to death or near something she hates the most, she will never show fear.

+ Family +
Tempest loved her family, but if she has her own type of pups & mate.
She will most likely love them more than her own family that she has.

+ Peace +
Rain never really expected to have peace, but when she's hunting alone, she has it.
When she fights enemies for peace, it's something she won't give in for.

+ Isket +
Isket is where she is accepted for who she really is.
No matter how she acts or what she is;
No one judges her.
It's somewhere she can finally call home, for life.

+ Dens +
The dens in Isket are major excitable for her,
They are gigantic on the inside and scientifically.
She hides when needed to be hidden, but other times.
She will most likely be causing trouble for her curiosity.

+ War +
War is her middle name;
She doesn't like those who disturb her family or friends.
When it comes down to love,
She will declare war an never give in!

.Dislikes.

- Kronadors -
Tempest does NOT like Kronadors that take over peaceful land when they don't invade.
She likes living life, but those beast ruin it. She'll kill each an single one of them to get peace, again.

- Wounds -
Wounds is her worst enemies. She doesn't like bleeding nor does she like the pain it gives her.

- Change -
She likes change, but when it comes down to real change as in friends & family leaving. There's a big no, no for her.

- Indents -
She's a neat freak, she does not feeling the dents in her armour that she wears everyday.
When it gets indented she freaks out.

- Death -
She's usually a happy looking wolf, but it comes down to death in the pack, she is a very loner introvert wolf.
Does not want to be bothered and very deadly when contacted.

.:Short story:.

* ~ As My Life Begins As A Warrior ~ *

As I stand here, strong & bold, on the hill before Isket; The wind tries its best to take me down, but I am way stronger than it. I raise my head to the night sky, watching the little critters fly around me as I howl my sarrow story about my busy and hectic life. I love to howl the story of my life, every night, the stars come out over the horizon of my beautiful home, I live in today. I was turchered all my life by my siblings, father, and so-on. Well, Today, I stand as a Warrior Of Isket! I am proud of myself being.. I took so much loss and hurtings to get here today. I am a young warrior, but I will soon enough be a touch elder warrior myself. If anyone asks why I am always so quiet, it's because of my past.. But I left that behind to get here. I love who I am, who I've become, and who I've grown to be part of. I be more than gladly to tell you my life, that I grew up in..

Pup History:

Today, was the day my mother finally had me. I was still too young to realize anything was wrong with me or even thought that there was something wrong. All I knew is that my mother was a brave, beautiful, and most bold warrior wolf, I knew. My father was the same, except he pushed us extremely hard.. And never really praised me to do better, when I messed up or anything; All he did was yell at me. I grew up with name calling, but I just ignored those hurtful names. I was the odd-ball in my family since I was the only blue pup in the litter. From there, you could already tell, I was the one getting picked on everyday. Anyways, as life went on, we started learning how to defend ourselves against enemies, known as, Kronadors. I never knew what they were because mother never told us what they were or even why we had to protect ourselves from the known monster. We had objectives to finish and adventures to begin. As always I was the one to get pounced and snuck-up on. But as I got bigger and more bolder, I started to become more rigid toward my family, except my mother, since she understood how I felt through all this that kept going on.

As weeks passed, I am now 6 weeks old, and I learned how to bite, slash, doge, and tackle. They come in handy, if you ask me. I used them on my siblings, whenever they got me ferious. I never got along with my siblings ever, since all they did was hurt me, and throw me in the dirt and laugh. From all this teasing & horrible name calling; I became an introvert. Yeah, I got upset & cried due to them, but I still held my head up high in the sky and never let it get to me like it used to.

"Tempest!" mother called out my name, since she was going on a hunting spree and I was the lucky one to always be chosen for it, too. "Coming, mother!" I called back, while running toward her. I had my wooden armour on, from there, I knew it training time, which I enjoyed most. We would train alone most of time, just me & mother, but father was being stubborn so I got stuck training with my brothers & sisters. I was jealous since I was the one too lag the most in his training excersises, but I wasn't the one to play around, either. Mother was proud of me for that, but the lagging father wasn't too happy at all. I fell over many times, but I was alert just incase my siblings wanted to attack me from behind or surprise attack me from the side. They joke around too much when they're training, but I don't. They depend on each other for help, I'm more independent so I depend on myself, which I am more proud of. For my siblings, not so much.

Months has passed and I am almost a teenager, I am inches away from the height of being known as one, and I can't wait. I am now independent, Bold, Noble, Original, Responsible and Adaptable to my enviroment. About three of my siblings went away to hunt with father, so I am left with two siblings, that stood with me & mother. Out of the two that stood, I was the youngest, but I was biggest. "Not so tough now, huh?" I teased them both, knowing they would say something back. "Be nice, Tempest." mother said back, I never knew mother would say that to me, since they were the mean ones at first. "Fine." I signed twitching my ear hearing something in the forest behind me. Mother flinched and stood-up to attack, she told us go into the den, but I didn't listen. Of course, I was the most one to refuse a pack leaders quest or reject an order when I sense terrior coming in my direction.. And that time was NOW.

Me & mother stood alert listening to the forest, waiting for whatever to come out and fight us. I barked, "Come out, coward!" I bravely said even though my legs were shaking and my teeth chattered loudly. My tail was between my legs, showing I was afraid, but I didn't care. I smelled the air and it smelled very disgusting and different, which made me more frightened than I already was. I whimpered, seeing a big hairy tail in a bush then move away slowly against the ground. Mother stood gaurd infront of me, saying go back into the den, but I was too rebellious to listen to her. The monster roared loudly, I flinched barking back at it. Mother charged at the monster, shouting "Kronador!" from there, I knew what the beast looked like and it entered my home also known as my terriotory. I went into attack position, forgetting all my fears and charging at the Kronador making it fall to the ground. Mother got frightened but she knew from my tackle, I was gonna win this fight. It's tail slapped me hard against my side and cried in pain not able to get back-up, but I did and charged back at the beast biting it and making it bleed from it's ear and eye. "I will fight to my death! So you better give-up!" I shouted as I fought it tensely even though I was being an idiot, 'cause I was bleeding from my side as well. The monster flew me off him and fled, but I was knock out since I hit my head on a tree along with my blood side.

Teenager History:

I am now a full-grown teenage wolf, living on a land being raised by my mother, but soon.. She has to leave to go back to her pack. I now understand the role of being a warrior wolf but not fully, though. Mother gave me the rules and still trains me. I do remember all the rudeness and rejects I did to her orders, but I did soon..get them done for her. I was soon out of my wooden armour, but I was still lagging from all the practice and experience. I was getting tired and knew I would never make a good warrior wolf like my parents. I wouldn't get hopes up for anything, but this was one of them and I was surely getting upset about it. "Mother.." I called to her. She didn't answer, so I went into the den to find her. She wasn't there, but my two siblings that stood behind were crying. That gave me a scare so I went out to scearch for her. "Mother!" I screamed out. Hearing and smelling the same exact smell I did when I was a pup. I fled trying to stay away from the Kronador, but it caught up to me before I could even say 'No'. It was only little me and this gaint beast known as a Kronador before me. I was shivering but I remembered I defeated it long time ago alone with mother watching me. I dropped my fear, kept my head high, and snarled feriously at the beast hoping it would give in sooner or later without me fighting. The beast roared and I was alone deep into the forest, this fight I knew I was going to lose since I didn't have wooden armour on.. I was basically plan in sight. I stood there waiting for it to move, still thinking of mother of where she was and why were my siblings crying. I backed up seeing the Kronador step forward toward me. I barked making it flinch, but it roared at me, stomping his hoof in front of me inches from me. I was almost killed like a bug, but I moved out of the way before he could even touch me. I looked to the right and saw a bigger wolf than my mother in titanium armour growling louder than I could ever growl at the beast.

The wolf jumped in front of me, telling me to step back and hind. I did so. "Be careful!" I screamed out to the strange wolf, knowing it knew what it was doing since it had its own type of armour. Mother's armour was nothing like it, so it amazed me and left me breathless. I watched as the wolf attacked the Kronador and it fell over since the wolf had spikes. The teeth of the warrior was extremely tough since the beast screamed out in pain. I laughed teasingly knowing that must've hurt him. The beast was about flee away but the warrior took a strike and killed the beast. I came out of the bush hiding, since he told me to hide. I came up close to him and bowed my head in respect knowing I wouldn't get anything out of it, but his height compared to mine was nothing seen like before. He lowered his head to my height, and I was nervous and shy to talk to him.. I wanted to ask him where he came from and how he knew I needed help.. but I kept quiet. All he said was "You will soon be a warrior of isket." then disappeared out of my sight. I barked in excitement knowing what he said meant something to me. I ran back to the camp ground hopping mother had returned so I could tell her what had happened and what I saw, but she was crying herself. From there, I knew something was about to change forever.

I was now a year old and everything that happened, changed my life, and I hated it. I never liked changes nor did I like loss. The news my mother told me, broke me into peices as I grown to believe it really happened. "My brothers died.." I said slightly to myself as I sat on a hill before this beautiful open blue ocean. The ocean breeze blew against my face and through my fur, which relaxed me slowly. My tears burned the left side of my cheek due to the scar that a Kronador gave me when I was a little pup. I remembered that day like it was yesterday.. Except my brothers were still alive. I never accepted change in my life and this was one them. I hate feeling this way, but becoming a warrior like the one I saw a year ago meant more to me than change. I was't gonna let that stop me neither. All I can say is, they were mean to me, never there for me, but they will always be with me to help me find my way through to becoming a proud warrior one day.

I am a teenager of my pack. I am the youngest, but the boldest out of the three sisters I live with today. I don't like them, either, but mother left me incharge due to her leaving back to Isket. She gave me a note, "Never let anything stop you from what you are doing. Even if I am not here, be bold, strong, and intellegent to move forward. You will soon be like me & your father." I still kept that saying indended in my mind never letting that go. I am close to 2-years-old.. And most likely. I will be a warrior no matter what it takes.

Adult History(WOI):

I am now a full-grown 2 year-old wolf. I kept everything I learned with me from both my parents and the strange wolf I never met in my entire life 3 years ago. Things I never thought I would learn, I learned from him. I was proud I never gave up in life.. I'm not that type of person to speak either, but in my mind, yes. I wagged my tail freely as I stood on a mountain before Isket. I looked down and saw red mountains, blue grass, and other wolves just like me in armour. I howled a story of excitement; I listened in as my pack members joined in with my howl. I jumped down from the hill to the ground to rubbed my head up against my lovely mate to my pups who next to become a WOI themselves one day like I. I remember all the memories, the abuise, and the name calling. I got way farther than my siblings did. My two sisters are now somewhere in this world, that I have no clue, but I, myself is a proud memeber of Isket.

I really don't have much a history for adult hood, but I do remember me training still and becoming much better. I remember hunting down a Kronador alone and killing it as another one appeared. I was thrown all over in the combat between us but nothing was gonna stop me from fighting and finding peace in the camp I used to live in. I have many injuries and my armour can you a story itself, if it had any words to say. My eyes can tell a whole story without me speaking, but I would rather tell you myself. A strong, bold, original WOI. If you did what I did when I was just a young white ball of fur.. You, yourself, will become a strong WOI like we all did. Let nothing stop you from thinking positive, or doing something you really wanna achieve as. The strange wolf that saved me long time ago is now my proud pack leader. My father, I have no clue of where he is. And my mother, I stand beside this very day. We are both very bold and strong. Intellegent and stupid as times due to the dicisions we make together, but being yourself is what is needed to more original then being something we don't want. You may have fears, but there are wolves here that don't have good hearing or sight seeing. We have scars and wounds that tell a story of a deadly fight or life. We have our own fears or frights, I already told you mine. So as changes come our way, it may seem hard; but remember, you always have your friends and other WOI like myself.. Who could help you through many various things in life as one can say.

.:Say 3 things about the WoI Species:.
- Their dens appear to be normal caves but once inside it's a huge network of rooms and tunnels. -

- A Warrior of Isket could be a Big Wolf with Normal Ears, and a Long Tail. -

- The armor had been made from Humans 8,000 years ago, since then there have been no humans in Isket they became extinct due to the evolution the other animals had gone through. -

Re: Adoptable WOI (Open!)

Postby waffle02 » Tue Nov 22, 2011 12:21 pm

Yay! She is finally up for adoption! Now time to stop secretly stalking from the shadows.....

Name:

Aislinn
(Means "A Dream" in Celtic)

Theme
Paradise by Coldplay

Family
This is mainly for my story and if I can't do this please tell me :#

Father
Eyal

Very headstrong and brave. He has a dark coat with white markings that are similar to the ones on Aislinn's tail, back and paws. He used to be a warrior till a tragic accident that left him with half a tail and blind in one eye. After the accident he left the pack of Warriors to roam the land and not weaken the ranks. While cornered by a Kronador, Caradoc ran in and saved his life. Ever since they fell in love and wandered the land together. A year later they had four pups, Boaz, Eitan, Warrick and Aislinn. When their pups were six moons of age, a passing Kronador attacked them. In the fray he sacrificed his life for Aislin and Eitan.

Mother
Caradoc

A patient and kind hearted mother. She has a light coat with dark markings like the ones of Aislinn's face and back legs. Her parents were loners of the land of Isket and when they got seperated by a storm she traveled by herself. One day she saw a male wolf be attacked by a Kronador and saved him. His name was Eyal and soon they fell in love. She had four pups with him: Boaz, Eitan, Warrick and Aislinn. She loved the tales of the Warriors and often told them to her pups until Eyal said they were too old. However, her and Aislinn would go to the river and on their way she would tell them again. After Eyal was killed she was infuriated and attacked the murdering Kronador, only to lose her life aswell.

Brothers
Boaz

The oldest and biggest. His coat is like his father's. He is very full of himself. He started the fray with the Kronadors and thus the action took his life. He never liked his siblings, believing them all to be weak and often wandered out at night.

Eitan

The kindest of the brothers. His coat is like his mother's. He was the second born and very wise and swift. He loved his sister, but due to his shy personality followed Boaz around telling him what not to do. He lived through the Kronador battle, but when they meet the Warriors he stayed as a loner saying it suited him better.

Warrick

The third born, he is known as being Boaz's little minion. Everything Boaz does is amazing to him and he thinks of him as his hero. His coat is white with dark markings. During the Kronador brawl he tries to fight but when Boaz runs he gets scared. A Kronador then attacked him and his end came.

Short story:

From the day I was born I was known as a dreamer. My father believed it meant weakness, but Mother knew better. Boaz, Eitan and Warrick, my brothers, were the pride of my father with their strength, while I continued to be the runt of the litter. Father wished to call me Demi, which meant “small” due to my size. I couldn’t help I was tiny compared to my family. Before I could speak I often dreamed what it would be like to be big. Dazing off when my siblings played deemed me the name Aislinn, which meant “a dream”. Ever since that day I would go off into my own little world were everything turned out right. Kronadors never attacked, and when they did my brothers needed my help to fight them. In my head life turned out the way I wanted. The world was mine to control. Then I learned of the WOI. My mother told me about the Warriors of Isket many times before. She said they protected the land of Isket for all wolves like us. Mother told me that even the loners like us, whom wandered the land, were safe from the Kronadors as long as the Warriors thrived. My brothers never listened to her stories. They said to become strong you had to train not listen to tales of pups. Father agreed with them and often Mother’s stories were cut short by training sessions. Every night, however, while we went to gather water she would tell me the legends of the Warriors of Isket.

As we grew older, Father began to train us to survive. Of course my brothers were excited, except for Eitan. Eitan stayed behind with me as Father rushed us through the plains over the blades of blue grass that always tickled my pelt when they brushed my pads. Holding in my laughter, I ran on as we passed birds flying high in the sky and past the river. Before crossing I gazed into the water's streaming path. Never have we ever been able to travel further than the stream. Boaz, like the show off he is, hunkered down and leaped straight for the water. And as the failure we know he really is, Boaz tumbled into the stream gulped for air as the waves pulled him under. Father grabbed his scruff and lifted him with ease.

Setting him down next to him Father scowled and said, "Boaz, that was a brave try, but to cross you must also be wise. You see the rocks that barely peak their heads above the current? That is our path to victory! Hop from one to the next, or else be lost in the stream." In one swift jump he soared above us onto the first pedistal. With the strength of a true Warrior, Father sped over each rock with ease. Landing on the other side, he called us over. Not to my suprise Boaz went first. Though his tecnique was poor and more often then not he slipped on the stone sides, he made is across. Warrick followed, and almost fell into the water, however Eitan caught him from behind. Once all my brothers made settled on the other side, I felt a chill run down my back. What if I fell? Would Father help me or would he say it is what I get for being weak? I stared at the silver stones shining from the sun. Deciding it was better to atleast try. I crouched down in ready position, watching the water rise and fall against the sides of my targets. Thoughts filled my mind of all the Warriors who crossed over these rocks. With my courage I sprung out to the first rock. Its smooth surface suprised me and I almost fell. I looked across the stream to see Eitan grinning wide at my success. Boaz and Warrick looked unbothered, but what filled my heart was Father's face. I glanced over to see something I never saw in his eyes when he looked at me. Pride. With a newfound energy, I leaped from stone to stone with ease, watching as droplets of water splashed from the currents. With one last bound I landed hard on the grassy surface. Father helped me up with a smile on his face.

"Well, that is enough for today pups, lets make sure to get home before dark."

"But Father, we only just crossed the stream! Shouldn't we explore more?" Boaz questioned, and for once I agreed with him. I was extremely curious to what lurked beyond the river.

"No, we shall leave that for another day. You must be strong enough to explore that land. Past those trees is the Kronador land," Father explained with a pained voice. Very depressed about our lesson, we waddled home.

That night as I we curled up with Mother in sleep, I felt a rustle. Waking up, I turned to see Boaz rising up.

"Boaz, where are you going?" I asked in a hushed voice.

"I want to be strong. And its none of your business, but if you really want to know follow me," he whispered with a smirk. My curious got the better of me, so I slowly rose to go with him. As we walked the light of the moon brighten the land around us. Stars twinkled in the sky. Boaz kept trotting on as we arrived at the stream. Hunkered down he hopped onto the first stone. Shocked by his actions I froze.

Getting over my state I asked, "Where do you think your going! We aren't aloud to go past the river let alone at night!"

"This is why I wasn't going to tell you! Father thinks we are to young to learn how to fight. He is scared we will leave, but I'm not scared. I want nothing more than to be strong, and if he wants to kept it from us, then I will find it myself. You don't have to come as long as you don't tell anyone about this."

His stern look frightened me. In silence I nodded, turning to run home. As he crossed the stream I sprinted straight back to where Mother was to keep me safe.

For many moons this was our routine. Father would take us out to teach us the ways of life. Never once did we cross the river to the forest. And every night I would fell the rustle of Boaz leaving to train in the woods. Life was going great, Father was finally feeling proud of me and ever night Mother would tell me stories of Warriors. Though if you know how life circles, then you know peace doesn't stay forever. During our sixth moon, a loud shriek souned from the forest. Father woke up with a start and whispered in a small voice....
"Kronadors."

Mother pulled us closer to her until she grew stiff.

"Caradoc, where is Boaz? He isn't here!"

Father turned in shock, "You don't think he is in the forest, do you?" I looked at my paws, for the answer was yes. As I almost admitted my knowledge a yelp screamed in pain emitting one small word.

"HELP!!!"

Shock turned to anger as Father sprinted toward the noise. Mother told us to follow as she sprang up and ran. Fear coursed through my viens as the blue grass turned stiff. All I could hear was the beating of my heart and the occasional scream. Everything passed in a blur as we ran toward the fray, I barely even remember crossing the river. Trees towered over our heads, but knowing this was time to admire nature I moved on. A blood curlted scream pierced my ears. Father stopped from ahead of us. I stared past him I two gaint beast growled. Their tails swished in a threatening manor. I couldn't see the faces of the creatures, but from the sound and size I knew what they were.

Kronadors.

In front of them laid Boaz, scared stiff. I watched as Father and Mother lept into the battle. Father landed first on the biggest Kronador gripping its neck in his jaw. The beast roared in pain as it swished back in forth to find the attacker. Mother raced to Boaz, but the second beast picked her up by its huge mouth. She howled in pain as the beast swung all around. Eitan, Warrick and I watched in horror as red filled the Kronadors mouth. In the midst of our terror, Father hopped off his victim to tackle Mother's killer. Mother landed with a thud, but luckily she stood up strong, blood matting her fur. I saw Boaz run toward the beast whom attacked Mother with revengful eyes burrowing a deep remembrance into my soul. He charged at the Kronador, only to be beaten down in one sharp swipe of claws. His eyes flashed open as he hit the ground. Boaz crashed and never moved, crimson trickling down his neck. Warrick flinched next to me, pain apparent on his face. Mother screamed in sorrow as her eldest son lie dead on the ground. Warrick raced out, clinging to the murder's tail with killer grip. It screeched out and slammed its tail onto the floor. Warrick yelped and as Boaz, died in an instant.

(After this part I noticed it was closed, so I didn't get any further)

    Name:
    Idelle
    Celtic, 'bountiful.'

    Short story:

    The Initiation
The scent of kronadors nearby made my heart pound and my muscles tense throughout my body. Next to me, Aderyn and Khantor perched on the edge of the cliff, just as ready and most likely just as frightened as I. I couldn’t help but smile when Kaliza, next to Aderyn and always hilarious even in the darkest of situations, cracked a joke.
None of us dared to laugh, though.
I shuddered faintly and my wooden armor softly clicked together. I cringed, waiting for a kronador to notice with its keen hearing or for Amanra or Luther to scold me in a hushed but firm tone. Neither happened.
I tilted my head, perking my ears and angling them toward where the older warriors huddled in conference, speaking in whispers. No doubt they were preparing to watch us in our first real confrontation with kronadors. I was excited, but I was also scared to death. I glanced to the side at Khantor. He seemed calm like always, though his eyes glittered with exhilaration. I think he caught me looking at him, because he smiled faintly and gave me a reassuring nod. I blinked, inhaling deeply. Letting my eyes remain closed, I exhaled, and immediately I was sure I was ready to take on the beasts that waited in all of their horrific glory below, near the waterfall.
The moment I laid eyes on them again, I lost the nerve and had to fight a whimper of raw fear and anxiety.
Tevron walked over, smiling. How were all of the warriors so happy? We were about to engage into real, true battle for the first times in our waking lives while the older warriors who were supposed to mentor us and teach us to the best of our ability watched. They’d never mentioned intervention if the battle got too rough.
    I really, really hoped so.
“Look, guys, I know you’re probably scared right now,” he began. “but there is no need to be. You see those kronadors down there? They’re young, rash. Stupid and inexperienced. They are complete amateurs when it comes to battle. Remember that.
“All you have to do is band together and work hard to kill them. There’s only two, which should be easy enough.” He smirked mischievously. It took a portion of my willpower not to grind my teeth. “I’ve killed two kronadors far larger than those two before. It’ll be a piece of cake. And once you have trained further and grown larger, you will be able to take them down single-handedly.”
I was amazed by the courage Tevron displayed.
But I was also inspired. His courage gave me courage. I felt bravery swell in my chest, and felt watched Khantor as he straightened up a bit, his tail erect and his chin raised. Kaliza smiled and jerked into a very tense position, her hackles raised and her fur on end. Aderyn and I just watched.
Tevron grinned. “There’s my guys. Now, when Amanra gives you the sign to go, you go. Got it? Leap off of the cliff and use the element of surprise.”
We nodded in unison and crept back to our spot, watching Amanra. She met our eyes with a steady gaze. She nodded, slowly, surely. And we were off.
I bunched my muscles, hesitating at the edge, and then sprang, forcing power into the leap. Mid-air, I aimed myself directly for the back of a female kronador that Aderyn fiercely battled. My aim was good, though it was a bit off. Instead of hitting the neck of the kronador, I landed more on the tail. My claws dug into the tough skin as I hauled myself higher.
The sharp screech of the kronador pierced my ears, forcing me to cringe and bare my teeth. Only fueled by the annoying noise, I nodded at the neck of the kronador, glancing at Aderyn and Kaliza who had recently joined. All at once, we lunged. I clamped my jaws over the neck of the kronador, shaking and yanking vigorously. Kaliza went straight for the legs, which she barreled into, forcing the kronador to lose her balance. Aderyn, in the most opportune moment, caught the throat and tore. The wet sound of flesh and blood pushed a shriek from my jaws. Surprised, we all giggled slightly.
We sobered as we took in the scene in front of us.
The kronador’s throat was completely torn from the entire body. Her legs were cut and scratched, scraped raw and bleeding in a rush. We smiled together again, and then turned to help Khantor.
I whistled aloud as I ran to his side, raising my hackles at the remaining kronador.
“Impressive.” I muttered, jumping forward and backward in a maneuver of spastic motions, confusing the beast. “What’re you talking about?” Said Khantor through bared fangs. “Staying alive this long. I didn’t think you had it in you, bro.” I replied.
Khantor laughed dryly. “Whatever. You had to have help from all of your girlfriends.” I gave him and offended look. It was amusing to me how we could have such a casual conversation in the midst of such heated battle. “To kill it. Not to stay alive.”
With that comment, we both snarled and lunged forward, moving as one, in liquid motions. Our paws barely touched the ground. A glance to my side told me that Aderyn and Kaliza had joined us. It felt like we were moving in slow motion. I closed my eyes for a moment, and when I opened them, I felt a new presence. Opening my maw to the slightest degree, I gasped as I looked to the far right, next to Khantor.
The wind rushed against the kronador, now frightened and screeching, with us. As I watched more carefully, I could almost perceive two wolf-shaped figures. No. It could not be. But it was!
We all attacked the kronador with the force of an army. The spirits of Laurona and Mardelius fought with us.
And within seconds, the thing was dead. It lay unmoving and silent.
Khantor, Kaliza, Aderyn, and I all stood, panting heavily. Our eyes were alight with excitement. Amanra and Tevron bounded down, laughing with joy. Tevron skittered down after them, nearly tripping over a rock in his haste. I giggled softly.
“You. Were. Amazing!” Shrieked Amanra. “I know.” Khantor answered calmly, a sly grin creeping onto his face. Kaliza and Aderyn were dancing around, spinning and jumping giddily. But I just sat, my tail wrapped neatly over my feet and my eyes closed.
“Hello? Idelle? Are you alive?”Luther said softly, approaching me. I heard Tevron and Amanra speaking father away. “Yeah. I’m fine. Just trying to develop all that’s happened,” I suggested, shrugging. He nodded in agreement. “I, too, was a tad stunned after my first battle with a kronador.” Luther muttered, blinking thoughtfully.
We smiled together. Luther stood, and I did, as well.
“Alright, guys.” He called. “Let’s head home. I’m sure evryone’ll return to a very warm welcome.”
I think I was the only one who noticed Amanra’s tail disappearing into the blue grass. She must have ran ahead to tell the news. I grinned softly to myself as we walked.
Khantor and Aderyn and Kaliza all slowed down and walked next to me, smiling and wagging their tails. “ ‘Sup,” I said. “Can you believe it, Idelle?! We actually killed two kronadors. All by ourselves!” Squealed Kaliza. I nodded, smirking gently. Then, I remembered something… The feeling that someone was fighting with us…
“Hey, guys…” I murmured. “Did you notice something, something strange?” Aderyn nodded. “The spirits? Yeah. Mardelius and Laurona, I’m guessing. Maybe,” She leaned toward us, “maybe Amanra’s father. He was a close companion of Mardelius.”
A shudder danced through us in unison.
I tilted my head, thinking as we moved. No… Could it be? Could the UR’s and their friends and family have been fighting with us as sprits? I grinned to myself. The pack had always been close, always cared for one another. We mourned for days when one warrior died. When a group died, it was months upon months. But now, now I was sure that we all truly died inside, over and over, as life ended. And we were reborn, over and over, as life once again began with the birth of new pups.
I was pulled from my thoughts by howls and shouts of raw and pure ecstasy. We emerged into camp and were almost immediately overwhelmed. Pups swarmed towards Aderyn and Kaliza, while adults and apprentices engulfed Khantor. I sat alone, in the middle of camp. No one approached me. Which I was perfectly okay with.
I smiled a bit as Igino approached me. He was one of my closest friends. I had spent much time with him when I was young, as I was a very unhealthy pup and took ill often. “So,” He said softly. “I hear that you’re gonna be a full warrior not too long now. Congratulations.”
Tears pricked at my eyes. I remembered, so vividly, when I had first been let out to explore the world of Isket. It’d been so wonderful…
I gazed out upon the camp, letting the tears flow freely. A smile pulled up the corners of my mouth. This was my home. This was where my friends were. This was where my family was.
And this is where we would always be.

    Searching
I paced back and forth fervently, my chest heaving with emotion.
I’d passed my test. As soon as I received my armor, I would officially be a warrior. It was only a day’s travel away. Being a full member of the pack, being able to find my soul mate and bare babies of m own… I let out a sigh as I fantasized what my children would look like.
“Are you ready?” Someone whispered in my ear. It was the deep voice of a male, and there was only one male that I knew that could be so stealthy as to startle me to the degree they had. “Khantor!” I squealed, spinning on my paws to face him. He chuckled. “Hello, Idelle. How have you been today?”
“Nervous.” I admitted, averting my eyes.
Khantor laughed. “Same. Kaliza looks like she will die if we don’t get a move on.” We both leaned forward to look across the field at Kaliza, who bounced around giddily. I laughed. “Oh, Kaliza. What a mother she will make!” He nodded in agreement. “A very, very amusing one. But fantastic, all the same.”
    That was very true.
“Quite.” I looked over as one of the older warriors howled. “Alright, everyone.” The warrior that’d be assisting us to find our special armor was not one of the ones that had joined us during our evaluation. This time, it was Dax. And, to be completely honest, I was a bit intimidated. Dax was so close with Rayo, and he was a direct line to our alpha.
I felt butterflies rise in my stomach just thinking about it.
Khantor and I approached, listening intently. “We are going to have to travel through the length of Isket. Got it? We’re going to encounter kronadors. Lots of ‘em. And some of them will be more experienced and more of a challenge than any of the kronadors you have ever battled.”
I’d heard Dax was blunt, but… Gosh. He could’ve put it in a bit of a more sensitive way.
I nodded, along with Aderyn and Kaliza. Khantor merely twitched his tail to signal that he’d understood.
    “Then let’s go.”
I shuddered as I turned, along with my friends. I stepped forward and immediately doubted whether or not I was ready for this. With a reassuring nudge from Dax I felt my confidence growing again. I lifted my nose to the air, opening my jaw slightly to inhale the air and identify and scents that clung to it.
Already, I could just barely taste the bitter smell of a kronador.
I picked up the speed, running just ahead of everyone else. I wanted to face this beast and kill it, so I could get on with the mission. And maybe, I also wanted to prove to the more experienced warrior that I was ready to face any challenge tossed my way. I did not think at all about the dangers of facing a kronador I had not yet studied and observed. I had no idea whether or not I was trained and skilled enough. It seemed I would just have to wait and see how everything turned out.
(Part 2, Searching, is still a work in progress. I just had to get it up before I went to sleep.)
(I hope it's okay that I used actual WOI's. If not, I can change the character names.)

    Art:
Ugh. >.< I can't stand this one. My camera is being stupid, and the only good art I have is traditational. So I was forced to do this on the computer. I know, I know. It sucks.
Another Digital Piece It's better, I guess... Well, I like it a ton more. The designs don't look very good. But if it lets me when, I guess it'll work.
Ow. I. Just. DIED INSIDE. It looks like something barfed in the colors of her. >.< I'm so sorry you had to go through the torture of looking at that. She face-planted the ground. Yup. My story had better be really good, huh?
Spaz Attack I have no life whatsoever. Yeah, I mostly used the shape effects to make this one.
By wesleydog I find this one amazing. It is soooo much better than mine. Thank you so much, Wes!

    - Only a custom male and a custom female or a custom male and a non-custom female may mate

Name:

Tahana

(It's Philippine and Means Destiny)

Short story:

Have you ever thought that stars are lovely, that the moon is beautiful and that space lasts forever?
I have... many times. And from this place you can see space the best.
While I sat there on my mountain tonight I thought about how flying would be like.
If I learned to fly for a day, I would take one of my friends with me and discover space.
And then go back to land in Isket only to wake up and understand that everything was a dream... okey I would understand It was a dream because flying is nothing I can do, it's just a dream, and a very amazing one!

"Sigh..." I jumped down from the mountain and walked through the blueish grass, it was like It bowed for me when I walked there.
I felt good seeing it bow for me. All the happines made me run! Run for nothing... or nothing? I was happy!
But after some running I stopped. I was on a field and thousands of flying and glowing creatures where dancing all around me.
And I just stopped to stare.
"How beautiful! Their like dancing stars! I whispered, and then thought about it... Im not alone! There is always someone around me!

That night I stopped thinking and I let the air lift me... to dance with the stars.

("Don't walk alone with your own shadow, and don't feel sad,
There are allways people around you and most of them will accept you for who you are!"
(That's what the story is about or what I where thinking off when I wrote this.))

Why I want her ⊱ Alrighty, I've been seeing these pop up in some of the forms and after looking through other adoptions saw it was one of the requirements in the forms so I decided to add this in. I can honestly say I don't want this gem because of the popularity of W.o.I's, because in all honesty, I had never heard of them until I went browsing through the Oekakai forum but only a few weeks or a month ago. I had got curious when I saw the lineart and when I went to the main RP page and the All About WoI's page, I was wholly consumed. I couldn't believe that I had never heard of WoI's before with as big of a hit they were, and after fully reading the All About WoI's page, I was in love, and if you can, believe me when I say I'm a hard person to win over. So then, began the wait. The wait for a WoI to come up for adoption and for me to try my luck (and my writing skills) at possibly winning one of these beauties. Eventually weeks passed, and my desperation grew. This past week I have been a busy wreck in school, but I was (only) half relieved when Thanksgiving Break came. Tuesday I checked back on the All About WoI's page, just for the fun of re-reading it. I read each and every sentence and word up until I reached the end of the Past Litters, and that's when a pretty, bright sea-foam green text caught my eyes. My hope was sparked when I read those two Available words. I clicked on the two links as fast as I could get my stiff fingers to click. The load was about twenty seconds and the first one that came up was a deep red color with light blue markings, but to my dismay it was already closed for judging. Slightly put down I switched to the next tab. My heart melted and my eyes were astonished, my breath completely taken away. There before me was one of the most elegant WoI's I had ever seen. Her design was splendid, the color scheme just perfect, the darker shades of blue bringing out the white markings. I had to try. I just had to. So began the start of my form.

I would love to RP her and get art of this angel, (that's actually what her name means ^^), and therefore, along with everything I just said above, I am going to put my all in this form and try and prove my worthiness of her, (although I do feel slightly unworthy due to the fact that so many others want her dearly as much, such as those who have waited months to try and get a WoI). I know someone can only do so much and try so hard, so it is only up to the judge(s) to decide who has earned her. I wish a good luck to all my fellow applicants and I must say that the bunch of you are doing absolutely wonderfully! ^^

Short story

Today

Flying. Flying. Flying. Higher. Higher. And Higher. My velvety soft, pearly white wings glowing in the morning sun. With a strong push my powerful wings pushed me on further. Past the tops of the trees, past the sky, past the clouds, pass the moon, past the stars, and further forward and away. Towards the Sun. Closer. Closer. And Closer. Until I was totally immersed by the brilliant rays and faded away...

My eyes closed. Blue spots filled my vision and my head felt dizzy and ached with pain. I waited for a few moments, allowing the blurriness to settle back down, before fluttering open again, this time looking at the ground, and not directly at the sun. Before me, settled quietly on my rich blue paws, was a familiar glowing moth, or I supposed it to be seeming as there had always been one by me, or at least when I needed help the most, throughout my entire life. I slowly stood, trying not to disturb the small creature, but as reality is sadly known, all things come to an end. My bi-colored eyes followed the dainty little thing flutter away, a mist of white trailing behind it before it disappeared through the canopy of thick trees. I inspected the area around me. The foliage of ferns were thick and lush, standing almost a foot up off of the dirt covered forest floor, where in other places there were patches of brilliant red pine needles. I padded about, being careful as to where I placed my paws and making sure to check the scents traveling to air currents every so often.

The expanse of the woods lasted on and on, it's majesty coming to no end. Or so it seemed. After rounding one of the largest trees I had crossed on my journey bright light blasted me. I paused, my right paw raised slightly as recoiled, my eyes squinted, trying to block out as much sun as possible while still not losing sight of all that was around me. My eyelids slowly raised as my blue and green eyes adjusted to the change of lighting. I took in the scene before me. The small shaking stream and the little incline just on the other side of it. Something clicked in my head. I cautiously moved forward, for the fact that I was unsure of what it was that had inclined me to go over to the incline just beyond the stream. I approached the stream and after looking at the size of the stones spread across it and testing the firmness of the first sleek grey rock, I trotted over the stream atop of the rocks, my feet barely getting nicked by the water.

I slowed my pace as I could see the incline of earth more clearly now. It was formed by a fallen tree, the tree itself was not dead though, it was alive. It was a… White Weeping Willow… It all rushed back to me. Those memories that I had wished were forgotten, but no, they were very much alive inside of me…

Before Birth & Immediately After

The silvery blue female watched happily the neighboring WoI. The small settlement had been growing, but not enough to be considered a full-fledged pack. The spring was full of happiness and life, not just for nature herself, but for the WoI's in the village as well. Females were expectant, she being one of them, and just as delighted as all of the other mothers to be. She laid inside her den and watched out to the left of the willow at the other dens and WoI's up and about. She shifted to the right of the fallen willow and gazed at the splendorous stream, gleaming and sparkling in the bright rays. How she longed to go for a swim, something she always enjoyed, but sadly, her mate wouldn't allow her because of her current condition, and it wasn't that he held a tight leash, but he only cared for her and their soon to be children. "You're not thinking of going off for a dip are you now?" A deep, rich voice chuckled behind her. She turned her head only to meet her mate coming inside the den, curling his large onyx black body up around her smaller one, and nuzzling her gently. The rays of sun outside touched the tip of his long tail, showing the accents of night sky blue in the sleek black coat of his, besides his white markings. She nuzzled him and replied with a reassuring, "I was wishing I could, but reminded myself that you wouldn't allow it. But only because you care." She smiled and laid down, closing her eyes and just breathing, her mate resting his neck atop of hers. It was so peaceful, as she always hoped it would be, and in the future, it would be the two of them and their wonderful children.

A presence was heard approaching the entrance of our den, and her mate noticed it only moments before her. The lead guard was at their door, and when her mate stood and invited him in he declined and said that they had spotted a few Krondors on the outskirts of the village and were calling her mate and five others to accompany him in pushing them away. Her mate complied and after nuzzling her and saying that he would be back as soon as possible, he suited in his armor and left. She watched him leave, with a hint of sadness in her heart. She never liked being away from her mate, even if he was only in the next den or just in the village center speaking with the other warriors. She laid down again, this time dozing off into a calm sleep about all her pups, her, her mate, and her entire village all happily living together...

Darkness had swallowed the village, and a loud, ear-splitting cry screeched out. She jumped awake, almost injuring herself at the sudden movement. Another cry. Followed by more. And finally that ear-splitting screech. Krondors. They were attacking the village. She was ready to rush out, thinking that these were the same Krondors her mate had gone to push back and thinking that something had happened to him, when a sharp pain emitted from her abdomen, freezing her mid-step. The pups. They were coming. She crawled to the furthest corner of her den, and as more pains came, stronger than the first, she had to bite her lip so she wouldn't cry out...

She panted heavily. She had bore seven pups, three sets of twins, and one other, a pretty little female, different from all the rest. She began to scoop them all up around her, but before she could reach for the female loud and heavy feet began to near the entrance of the den. She fell silent. Not even breathing. They were at the entrance. Her den was on the very outskirt of the village, and so she was last. Last to die. She was stone still, sweating like crazy out of pure fear, not for herself, but for her pups. She prayed to the first deceased WoI's that they would protect a pup. The Krondor burst through the branches of the willow covering the entrance and screeched at her. She growled back fiercely, she couldn't stand, but would fight to no end. But sadly, there was an end...

The onyx black male trudged to the village as quickly as his injured legs would take him. There were five Krondors and their small scout had barely been able to take them down, he being the only survivor, but he wouldn't even say that. Deep gashes littered his body and were gushing blood, and with as much blood as he was losing from his jugular he had little time. He would go back, and try to collect the last seven males to defend the village.

He got to border of the village, the air about it was solemn and almost ghost-like... It reeked of death... He thought it was only the eerie and low set white fog amidst the cold gripping darkness, but what he smelt clutched at his heart, causing it to stop. Blood. Pools and pools of blood. He clenched his lip and ran, causing the bleeding to increase, but he needed to get to his village now. Beads of sweat ran furiously through his fur, touching some of his wounds, the saltiness of it burning slightly, but he kept on. He skidded to a halt the moment his paws touched the ground of the village center, and he could only wish that his eyes were deceiving him, but they told nothing but the plain cold truth. Bodies of friends and family, of every wolf in the village littered the ground, some torn in pieces, others split in half. Everyone. Dead. He wanted nothing more than to cry.

Mate! Pups! The thought cried in his head. His head whipped around in the direction of his den. A new-found energy built up inside him, hope, as he made a mad dash to his home. The trees parted, and it came into sight, and he pushed forward even faster. It was mere yards away, but his eyes once more brought him an indescribable horror. There were small bodies lying about near the den, dark coats along with lighter silver ones, and only feet from them, a larger silvery blue body. His feet were rooted to the spot they were, but he found the will to shakily move them, each step he made towards the body only brought the hammering down of his heart. He stood behind the wolf, and as he turned her delicate head, he collapsed. His mate. Dead. And the pups she had only just bore. Dead. He cried, shedding almost double the tears than the blood that was coming from his body. He howled, but it was choked by his raspy, dry throat.

His head hung over his dead mate and just as he was ready to lie down and die, a small cry met his ears. He believed he was only hearing things, such as a cry from the soul of his dead mate, but another cry met his ears again. He turned and followed where he thought it had come from, which was strangely inside the den. He waited at the entrance and a whimper came from deeper inside. His eyes widen and he hurried inside, going deeper inside the den and then he saw a faint light. He trotted further in. He felt the wall of the den and went down near the bottom and saw the faint light, glowing from behind some slightly broken roots in the wall. He tore the roots off with his bloody canines and his heart almost broke in two.

A white moth sat atop a single female pup. Different from all the rest he had seen thrown astray outside, but she was beautiful. He pulled her out gently and cried as he saw her weak but still alive and breathing body. The white moth fluttered away out of the entrance of the quiet den, darkening it once more. He picked up the pup and brought it outside. After setting her down, he released the loudest, clearest howl with his last bit of strength and with all of his heart, calling for help. He then curled around her to keep her warm. His strength was deteriorating fast now, and after curling tightly around her, with his last breath spoke, "Evangeline..."

Today

I was slightly teary as I walked away from the den. Even though I was just born when all that had happened, I had a wicked memory. I remember that hours later, after my father had made the call, and I was soon quite weak again due to hunger, quick and light feet, along with light sounds of metal clinking together came to the village and after recognizing the WoI that the call had come from, a female warrior picked me up and rushed me back to the bigger pack village. When we had arrived a shaman had revived me and I was put with a female to take care of me, and it should have lasted, but she didn't want me, and at six weeks had gone off with me and dropped me in the eastern woods to fend for myself...

I was so in thought of my past that I didn't realize where I was headed and my foot slipped into a hole. I pulled it out and shook the dirt off before my nose caught a familiar scent, and more memories came back to me...

Growing Up
(Puphood)

It was another quiet morning. I woke with a yawn and stretched out my little limbs before lapping at my mouth. I was thirsty, but with a quiet rumble of my stomach I knew I was starved more than I was parched. I stood up and after walking through the maze of the old badger home I now inhabited, I saw this midday sun peeking through the trees. I walked around, and found my usual berry patch that I ate from, gladly eating the luscious, juicy purple berries. I was almost thirteen weeks now, and was getting bigger and stronger every day.

I heard a rustle, and slinking sounds. Immediately I went on high alert, and dove deep into the thick brambles of the berry bush. I watched for a few moments and on the other side of the clearing, a large blue beast came into sight, with a large kill in it's mouth. I drooled at the fresh meat and was slightly envious when the Krondor began to happily munch on the food. It sat there doing nothing but eat, and slowly the body of the animal it consumed withered down to a carcass with only a few pieces of meat hanging and tucked in here and there. The Krondor stood, tall, full, and healthy, whereas I was here crouching under a bush, hungry as ever, and just barely keeping a healthy weight. A few howls echoed through the plains and the Krondor perked it's head up attentively, before deciding it best to be on it's way.

I waited until I was sure it was gone and quickly scrambled over to the carcass. There wasn't much for a full grown WoI, but for me, it was enough. I scavenged those last savorous pieces and licked my lips with delight. It had been weeks since I had been able to find meat, and half the time it was already a few days old. I trotted over to the stream and quenched my thirst with the cool and sweet water. I laid on top of some mossy rocks and took a nap under the warm sun, little breezes billowing by every now and then, and the sounds of the whickering stream and little birds making music in my ears...

Just Days Ago

I woke up slowly. It was another one of those days by the stream. Earlier I had gotten up from my home, a small dugout under some thick branches, and went out for food, eating my usual berries, but instead of scavenging for meat, I hunted, I had been for the past few months, and after getting a large kill and filling my stomach to it's content, I had easily drifted to sleep. I felt something tickling the tip of my pink spotted nose. My eyes peered open and I saw a pretty little moth fluttering around my head, almost as though it were in a panic. I smiled sweetly to it and said, "What's wrong little one?" I gazed at it, trying to find what had caused it to go in this frenzy.

I stood up and padded over to the stream, lapping up a gulp of water or two. As I was pulling my head up something on the other side of the stream caught my attention, and when the moth drifted over to the object, my curiosity was further peaked. I slowly waded in, testing the water, before springing up, and leaping into the cool, crystal clear water, swimming quickly, and easily, each stroke of my powerful but slender legs getting me just that much closer to that of my destination.

Within a few minutes I had reached the other bank, and lightly shook out my fur. It was such a beautiful day, and the swim was lovely, and... A flicker of movement brought me out of my wandering thoughts, and I proceeded to the spot the butterfly was on. I arched my neck down and although I couldn't seem to place just what it was, a small trickle of a scent wafted to my nose, and I was on high red alert. Krondor. My head shot up, and I hadn't realized that in my inspection of the small tuft of fur, a Krondor was galloping strait for me, this very moment, so I did the only thing I could.

I braced myself, taking a firm position on the ground, looking my enemy dead in the eye. It let out a roar, a deep bellow, showing off it's masculine ferocity, attempting to intimidate me, but I only released a roar just as powerful. It lowered it's head slightly, ready to ram it's ivory horns into me, but at the last moment, I slipped around it, barely missing it's horns by a hair, though that didn't stop it from reaching down and clamping onto my hind leg. I clenched my teeth, blocking out the pain; I could take the heat. I latched my claws into it's side before closing my jaws down on the bridge of it's nose.

It recoiled from the pain, releasing my leg, and I it's nose, before it immediately tried to lash out at me once more. I side-stepped it, before dashing in the other direction, first hoping it wouldn't follow, which it did, so my second hope was that I would lose it. I made it to the forest of Isket, and began trying to take every which way, path, and pull every trick I knew to lose the large and hungry male, but he still managed to make a beeline for me.

A log came up into my path, and so naturally I jumped over it, when I landed it was at first smooth, but a hidden root caught my foot, causing me to stumble in the other direction, and then down a large hill. I bumped down the whole way, rolling and smacking into the ground, even face first a few times.

The "joy ride" came to an end, and I laid on the ground, aching and panting, unable to move, and not that I wanted to either, I just wanted to rest, just for a few minutes... Snap. I erected myself immediately, my legs shaking slightly, but I was ready. After standing like that for a few minutes I myself began to move, but the loud pounding of feet and hooves from behind me only pushed me on faster...

"Quest" for Armor

This part of the woods was very strange and unfamiliar to me, I was horribly lost, not a scent I took in was reassuring. It was eerily silent, and when I began to hear a deep and slightly rasping breathing begin to get louder and closer to me, I slowly began to back up, getting closer and closer to bursting into a panic, but had to reassure myself that I would make it through whatever came at me now. A growl came from the direction of the breathing, and I knew it was the Krondor.

I turned, ready to split, but bumped into something hard and smooth. A large boulder towered before me, though when I saw all of the other boulders around it, I knew it was the smallest one. I turned my head, the gruff breathing getting closer, and without a second thought I sprang up and on top of the rock, trying to see if I could get a better view of where I was, and more importantly, my enemy's position.

Once steadily on it, I scanned the area around me, and cursed when I couldn't see a thing, the forest didn't consist of a common breed of tree, but instead one of the largest varieties I had ever seen. I turned around and looked over the rocks, and when I came to the last one, something peculiar caught my eye, glimmering in the rays of sunshine that managed to reach this part of the dense wood.

I slowly began to hop rocks, trying to get closer and closer to the object on the largest rock. What was it? It was nothing that I had ever seen before, so it couldn't have been natural.

I made it to the rock that was second away from the largest rock with the object on it. I jumped again, onto the rock right in front of the largest rock, but the moment my paw skinned the surface, it began to tumble. A new fear was brought to me, the fear of being crushed to death. The boulder began to roll and though I tried to stop it by moving in the opposite direction, it only made it move more.

I lost my footing, and began to slide off. I turned to see my boulder headed for another one in this stone yard, and new it was over for me. My claws began to scrape and screech against the boulder, and when I was for sure I would soon slip, my foot caught something. I quickly looked down and saw a dent in the rock, and my back feet firmly planted inside it. I frantically looked for a holding for my front feet and praised the first WoI's for giving me one.

With a strong push of my hind legs, and pull of my front ones, I came free of the boulder, just as it crashed into another, and then began a domino effect. I landed on another boulder, and when I looked, it was the biggest one, the one I had been aiming for.

I scooted around to the other side and found my mystery object, and my jaw dropped. There before me, was a black gold armor, with silvery blue lining, and bright turquoise stones. It was so tempting, and I just couldn't resist the urge to slip on the amazing armor, so I did.

It was so light, and it fit like a glove, I especially took a liking to the tail plates. A chain was attached to my ear armor, and connected with my shoulder armor, and with a twitch of my ear, the spikes flew open and out. I gaped, fully in awe, and wanted to savor this moment, but a growl from below took that moment away.

I looked down and saw the oh-so-friendly Krondor below, and had to catch myself as it slammed into the boulder, shifting it some.

I smiled and leaped down, just as it rammed into the boulder and caused it to roll off. I looked it dead in it's reptilian eyes and said, "Bring it."

It charged for me, and I for it, but I was quicker, and rammed into it, opening the shoulder spikes just before I made impact, and made a huge gash into it's side.

It came for me again, and with a new-found confidence, I swiped at it with my hard claws, and was then able to grab under it's head with my teeth, pinning it down to the ground, but before it could swipe at me, I brought my tail around, and stabbed it in the heart.

I stepped back as it stopped moving. I did it. I killed a Krondor...

Today

I made my way to the main WoI pack village, and when one approached me I said to it, "I found a sacred armor deep in the forest, and since I know it is not rightfully mine, I ask if I may join and gain my right to have it and for a place in your society..."

Armor Concept ⊱ Alright, so if you've looked at the last pic in my art for her, you would have seen the current armor concept. In the description it currently says,
For one though, it's no where near done, just saying.

The main highlights of the armor though are the shoulder plate and the tail plates.

My (current) idea for the shoulder plate is that the biggest plates on the outside are more of a shield though all the ones inside of it are weapons. How so? Later on I'm going to make some armor over the ears and then attach a chain to each one that connects to each shoulder and when the wolf moves her ear in a certain way (still deciding if it will be up, down, left, right, or something more unique) all of those inner shoulder plates will spike outwards which helps so that the enemy can't get near her shoulder AND for the advantage if she body slams them ^^

Onto the tail armor. I saw few of the other W.o.I.'s had tail armor, though I am at least 98% positive that none had a spike at the end. Why a spike? For jabbing and stabbing enemies :P

Some other interesting aspects is the fact that overall my current thinking for the armor is that I want it to be sleek and sharp, which would kind of match the saying, "Quiet and Deadly". She has armor claws for when she scratches an enemy, those are still a work in progress, more detail and other enhancements need to be added. And the front of the chest plate, (which is still another work in progress), is (although hidden by the shoulder plate) attached to the back plates with a thick leather strap (maybe a chain?) and the end of chest plate (which really extends all the way under her belly to in between her hind legs) are two leather straps (may change to chain) that reach up like a V and go around her tail to connect to the last back plate before the first tail plate (the long curved one).

So far that is all, but I am totally up for suggestions and I will be still improving and changing the concept :)

Say 3 things about the WoI Species

History:
The Warrior of Isket ( WOI) live in a beautiful land but without any peace. They always fight against a big enemy.Their main rivals are chimera's who are a mix of horse and reptile. Both sides are at a constant fight for the reign of Isket; But neither side is strong enough to completely overrule the other. So the country is divided into 2 territories. One territory belongs to the Warriors, the other to the enemy otherwise known as, Kronadors. Even though both sides have their own areas, the Kronadors always the instigators of a fight against the Warriors, and even though it's been several years now, neither side is capable of defeating the other. Maybe in the far future, the Warriors will get back their Country and defeat the Kronadors once and for all.

Earning Armor:

The WoI's armor was found by the UR´s long, long time ago. The armor lay in a big cave deep in the old forest of Isket. Only the WoI's know the way and it´s one mission that every young WoI will have to go through to get their own special armor. It's a tough initiation because the forest is full of danger. The armor had been made from Humans 8,000 years ago, since then there have been no humans in Isket they became extinct due to the evolution the other animals had gone through.

Rules:

*Warrior of Isket are Wolf cross breeds and they should stay this way! NO Humans, or Anthro, and no Normal Wolves!

*Warrior of Isket could only be used in the planned RP!NO other RP except you have a permission from the whole WoI Board (Lilian Nightshade, Neara, TheWolfsgirl90, and apache~)

*If you don´t follow the rules, you will no longer a WOI Member or Owner.

{{ Just as a forewarning, I'm still slightly confused on the entire adoption thing here on WOI, and whether or not we can adopt them at the age they look or if they have to start out as pups and grow to adulthood and such, so if there are any mistakes that can be fixed in my form could a PM be sent my way? Thanks =) }}

Name:
Inger
- meaning A hero's daughter in Danish origin -
Short story:
Warmth on my face, my eyes crack, and I awake from my day dreaming. I am alone.. I like it this way. Others call me the shy one but my name is Inger. I was born into a war, I am the daughter of an Hero, and yet I don't even know my father or mother they where lost in the fight. Soon I will be apart of that war, fighting to find peace for the land of Isket, and I shall stand firm.. brave and tall next to my brethren. But till the I shall study hard.. I am an apprentice. Oh which reminds me, I am going to be late if I don't start my way back now. On my way back I shall tell you the story of my life up to now.. I that I have be told and remember. Like I said before, my parents died in war before I was old enough to remember them. I have not been told if i have any brothers or sisters. I grew up as an orphan do to that.. But please don't feel sad for me, I am still here live and kicking. I was different than most other as when I was growing up. I tried staying to my self as much as I could -still do-. I was vary adventurous, which some times got me into trouble.. But hey got to make mistakes to learn in life. I still like a good adventure tho and tend to be more bolder the my friends -Others-. Most called me the strong quit type.. I only know this from over hearing whispers of others.. You learn to hear more when your not talking all the time, which also makes me a good listener. Which will most likely make me a vary good Scout/Guard one day. Well theirs not much to tell about my past, I got to go now, and start the making of my history. Till later.. ~ Walks off to join the other Apprentices. She stands in the vary back of the grope not talking to anyone... staying to herself like always.. ~
