Why I want her ⊱ Alrighty, I've been seeing these pop up in some of the forms and after looking through other adoptions saw it was one of the requirements in the forms so I decided to add this in. I can honestly say I don't want this gem because of the popularity of W.o.I's, because in all honesty, I had never heard of them until I went browsing through the Oekakai forum but only a few weeks or a month ago. I had got curious when I saw the lineart and when I went to the main RP page and the All About WoI's page, I was wholly consumed. I couldn't believe that I had never heard of WoI's before with as big of a hit they were, and after fully reading the All About WoI's page, I was in love, and if you can, believe me when I say I'm a hard person to win over. So then, began the wait. The wait for a WoI to come up for adoption and for me to try my luck (and my writing skills) at possibly winning one of these beauties. Eventually weeks passed, and my desperation grew. This past week I have been a busy wreck in school, but I was (only) half relieved when Thanksgiving Break came. Tuesday I checked back on the All About WoI's page, just for the fun of re-reading it. I read each and every sentence and word up until I reached the end of the Past Litters, and that's when a pretty, bright sea-foam green text caught my eyes. My hope was sparked when I read those two Available words. I clicked on the two links as fast as I could get my stiff fingers to click. The load was about twenty seconds and the first one that came up was a deep red color with light blue markings, but to my dismay it was already closed for judging. Slightly put down I switched to the next tab. My heart melted and my eyes were astonished, my breath completely taken away. There before me was one of the most elegant WoI's I had ever seen. Her design was splendid, the color scheme just perfect, the darker shades of blue bringing out the white markings. I had to try. I just had to. So began the start of my form.
I would love to RP her and get art of this angel, (that's actually what her name means ^^), and therefore, along with everything I just said above, I am going to put my all in this form and try and prove my worthiness of her, (although I do feel slightly unworthy due to the fact that so many others want her dearly as much, such as those who have waited months to try and get a WoI). I know someone can only do so much and try so hard, so it is only up to the judge(s) to decide who has earned her. I wish a good luck to all my fellow applicants and I must say that the bunch of you are doing absolutely wonderfully! ^^

Short story ⊱
TodayFlying. Flying. Flying. Higher. Higher. And Higher. My velvety soft, pearly white wings glowing in the morning sun. With a strong push my powerful wings pushed me on further. Past the tops of the trees, past the sky, past the clouds, pass the moon, past the stars, and further forward and away. Towards the Sun. Closer. Closer. And Closer. Until I was totally immersed by the brilliant rays and faded away... My eyes closed. Blue spots filled my vision and my head felt dizzy and ached with pain. I waited for a few moments, allowing the blurriness to settle back down, before fluttering open again, this time looking at the ground, and not directly at the sun. Before me, settled quietly on my rich blue paws, was a familiar glowing moth, or I supposed it to be seeming as there had always been one by me, or at least when I needed help the most, throughout my entire life. I slowly stood, trying not to disturb the small creature, but as reality is sadly known, all things come to an end. My bi-colored eyes followed the dainty little thing flutter away, a mist of white trailing behind it before it disappeared through the canopy of thick trees. I inspected the area around me. The foliage of ferns were thick and lush, standing almost a foot up off of the dirt covered forest floor, where in other places there were patches of brilliant red pine needles. I padded about, being careful as to where I placed my paws and making sure to check the scents traveling to air currents every so often.
The expanse of the woods lasted on and on, it's majesty coming to no end. Or so it seemed. After rounding one of the largest trees I had crossed on my journey bright light blasted me. I paused, my right paw raised slightly as recoiled, my eyes squinted, trying to block out as much sun as possible while still not losing sight of all that was around me. My eyelids slowly raised as my blue and green eyes adjusted to the change of lighting. I took in the scene before me. The small shaking stream and the little incline just on the other side of it. Something clicked in my head. I cautiously moved forward, for the fact that I was unsure of what it was that had inclined me to go over to the incline just beyond the stream. I approached the stream and after looking at the size of the stones spread across it and testing the firmness of the first sleek grey rock, I trotted over the stream atop of the rocks, my feet barely getting nicked by the water.
I slowed my pace as I could see the incline of earth more clearly now. It was formed by a fallen tree, the tree itself was not dead though, it was alive. It was a… White Weeping Willow… It all rushed back to me. Those memories that I had wished were forgotten, but no, they were very much alive inside of me…
Before Birth & Immediately AfterThe silvery blue female watched happily the neighboring WoI. The small settlement had been growing, but not enough to be considered a full-fledged pack. The spring was full of happiness and life, not just for nature herself, but for the WoI's in the village as well. Females were expectant, she being one of them, and just as delighted as all of the other mothers to be. She laid inside her den and watched out to the left of the willow at the other dens and WoI's up and about. She shifted to the right of the fallen willow and gazed at the splendorous stream, gleaming and sparkling in the bright rays. How she longed to go for a swim, something she always enjoyed, but sadly, her mate wouldn't allow her because of her current condition, and it wasn't that he held a tight leash, but he only cared for her and their soon to be children. "You're not thinking of going off for a dip are you now?" A deep, rich voice chuckled behind her. She turned her head only to meet her mate coming inside the den, curling his large onyx black body up around her smaller one, and nuzzling her gently. The rays of sun outside touched the tip of his long tail, showing the accents of night sky blue in the sleek black coat of his, besides his white markings. She nuzzled him and replied with a reassuring, "I was wishing I could, but reminded myself that you wouldn't allow it. But only because you care." She smiled and laid down, closing her eyes and just breathing, her mate resting his neck atop of hers. It was so peaceful, as she always hoped it would be, and in the future, it would be the two of them and their wonderful children.
A presence was heard approaching the entrance of our den, and her mate noticed it only moments before her. The lead guard was at their door, and when her mate stood and invited him in he declined and said that they had spotted a few Krondors on the outskirts of the village and were calling her mate and five others to accompany him in pushing them away. Her mate complied and after nuzzling her and saying that he would be back as soon as possible, he suited in his armor and left. She watched him leave, with a hint of sadness in her heart. She never liked being away from her mate, even if he was only in the next den or just in the village center speaking with the other warriors. She laid down again, this time dozing off into a calm sleep about all her pups, her, her mate, and her entire village all happily living together...
Darkness had swallowed the village, and a loud, ear-splitting cry screeched out. She jumped awake, almost injuring herself at the sudden movement. Another cry. Followed by more. And finally that ear-splitting screech.
Krondors. They were attacking the village. She was ready to rush out, thinking that these were the same Krondors her mate had gone to push back and thinking that something had happened to him, when a sharp pain emitted from her abdomen, freezing her mid-step.
The pups. They were coming. She crawled to the furthest corner of her den, and as more pains came, stronger than the first, she had to bite her lip so she wouldn't cry out...
She panted heavily. She had bore seven pups, three sets of twins, and one other, a pretty little female, different from all the rest. She began to scoop them all up around her, but before she could reach for the female loud and heavy feet began to near the entrance of the den. She fell silent. Not even breathing. They were at the entrance. Her den was on the very outskirt of the village, and so she was last. Last to die. She was stone still, sweating like crazy out of pure fear, not for herself, but for her pups. She prayed to the first deceased WoI's that they would protect a pup. The Krondor burst through the branches of the willow covering the entrance and screeched at her. She growled back fiercely, she couldn't stand, but would fight to no end. But sadly, there was an end...
The onyx black male trudged to the village as quickly as his injured legs would take him. There were five Krondors and their small scout had barely been able to take them down, he being the only survivor, but he wouldn't even say that. Deep gashes littered his body and were gushing blood, and with as much blood as he was losing from his jugular he had little time. He would go back, and try to collect the last seven males to defend the village.
He got to border of the village, the air about it was solemn and almost ghost-like... It reeked of death... He thought it was only the eerie and low set white fog amidst the cold gripping darkness, but what he smelt clutched at his heart, causing it to stop.
Blood. Pools and pools of blood. He clenched his lip and ran, causing the bleeding to increase, but he needed to get to his village now. Beads of sweat ran furiously through his fur, touching some of his wounds, the saltiness of it burning slightly, but he kept on. He skidded to a halt the moment his paws touched the ground of the village center, and he could only wish that his eyes were deceiving him, but they told nothing but the plain cold truth. Bodies of friends and family, of every wolf in the village littered the ground, some torn in pieces, others split in half. Everyone. Dead. He wanted nothing more than to cry.
Mate! Pups! The thought cried in his head. His head whipped around in the direction of his den. A new-found energy built up inside him, hope, as he made a mad dash to his home. The trees parted, and it came into sight, and he pushed forward even faster. It was mere yards away, but his eyes once more brought him an indescribable horror. There were small bodies lying about near the den, dark coats along with lighter silver ones, and only feet from them, a larger silvery blue body. His feet were rooted to the spot they were, but he found the will to shakily move them, each step he made towards the body only brought the hammering down of his heart. He stood behind the wolf, and as he turned her delicate head, he collapsed. His mate. Dead. And the pups she had only just bore. Dead. He cried, shedding almost double the tears than the blood that was coming from his body. He howled, but it was choked by his raspy, dry throat.
His head hung over his dead mate and just as he was ready to lie down and die, a small cry met his ears. He believed he was only hearing things, such as a cry from the soul of his dead mate, but another cry met his ears again. He turned and followed where he thought it had come from, which was strangely inside the den. He waited at the entrance and a whimper came from deeper inside. His eyes widen and he hurried inside, going deeper inside the den and then he saw a faint light. He trotted further in. He felt the wall of the den and went down near the bottom and saw the faint light, glowing from behind some slightly broken roots in the wall. He tore the roots off with his bloody canines and his heart almost broke in two.
A white moth sat atop a single female pup. Different from all the rest he had seen thrown astray outside, but she was beautiful. He pulled her out gently and cried as he saw her weak but still alive and breathing body. The white moth fluttered away out of the entrance of the quiet den, darkening it once more. He picked up the pup and brought it outside. After setting her down, he released the loudest, clearest howl with his last bit of strength and with all of his heart, calling for help. He then curled around her to keep her warm. His strength was deteriorating fast now, and after curling tightly around her, with his last breath spoke, "Evangeline..."
TodayI was slightly teary as I walked away from the den. Even though I was just born when all that had happened, I had a wicked memory. I remember that hours later, after my father had made the call, and I was soon quite weak again due to hunger, quick and light feet, along with light sounds of metal clinking together came to the village and after recognizing the WoI that the call had come from, a female warrior picked me up and rushed me back to the bigger pack village. When we had arrived a shaman had revived me and I was put with a female to take care of me, and it should have lasted, but she didn't want me, and at six weeks had gone off with me and dropped me in the eastern woods to fend for myself...
I was so in thought of my past that I didn't realize where I was headed and my foot slipped into a hole. I pulled it out and shook the dirt off before my nose caught a familiar scent, and more memories came back to me...
Growing Up(Puphood)It was another quiet morning. I woke with a yawn and stretched out my little limbs before lapping at my mouth. I was thirsty, but with a quiet rumble of my stomach I knew I was starved more than I was parched. I stood up and after walking through the maze of the old badger home I now inhabited, I saw this midday sun peeking through the trees. I walked around, and found my usual berry patch that I ate from, gladly eating the luscious, juicy purple berries. I was almost thirteen weeks now, and was getting bigger and stronger every day.
I heard a rustle, and slinking sounds. Immediately I went on high alert, and dove deep into the thick brambles of the berry bush. I watched for a few moments and on the other side of the clearing, a large blue beast came into sight, with a large kill in it's mouth. I drooled at the fresh meat and was slightly envious when the Krondor began to happily munch on the food. It sat there doing nothing but eat, and slowly the body of the animal it consumed withered down to a carcass with only a few pieces of meat hanging and tucked in here and there. The Krondor stood, tall, full, and healthy, whereas I was here crouching under a bush, hungry as ever, and just barely keeping a healthy weight. A few howls echoed through the plains and the Krondor perked it's head up attentively, before deciding it best to be on it's way.
I waited until I was sure it was gone and quickly scrambled over to the carcass. There wasn't much for a full grown WoI, but for me, it was enough. I scavenged those last savorous pieces and licked my lips with delight. It had been weeks since I had been able to find meat, and half the time it was already a few days old. I trotted over to the stream and quenched my thirst with the cool and sweet water. I laid on top of some mossy rocks and took a nap under the warm sun, little breezes billowing by every now and then, and the sounds of the whickering stream and little birds making music in my ears...
Just Days AgoI woke up slowly. It was another one of those days by the stream. Earlier I had gotten up from my home, a small dugout under some thick branches, and went out for food, eating my usual berries, but instead of scavenging for meat, I hunted, I had been for the past few months, and after getting a large kill and filling my stomach to it's content, I had easily drifted to sleep. I felt something tickling the tip of my pink spotted nose. My eyes peered open and I saw a pretty little moth fluttering around my head, almost as though it were in a panic. I smiled sweetly to it and said,
"What's wrong little one?" I gazed at it, trying to find what had caused it to go in this frenzy.
I stood up and padded over to the stream, lapping up a gulp of water or two. As I was pulling my head up something on the other side of the stream caught my attention, and when the moth drifted over to the object, my curiosity was further peaked. I slowly waded in, testing the water, before springing up, and leaping into the cool, crystal clear water, swimming quickly, and easily, each stroke of my powerful but slender legs getting me just that much closer to that of my destination.
Within a few minutes I had reached the other bank, and lightly shook out my fur. It was such a beautiful day, and the swim was lovely, and... A flicker of movement brought me out of my wandering thoughts, and I proceeded to the spot the butterfly was on. I arched my neck down and although I couldn't seem to place just what it was, a small trickle of a scent wafted to my nose, and I was on high red alert.
Krondor. My head shot up, and I hadn't realized that in my inspection of the small tuft of fur, a Krondor was galloping strait for me, this very moment, so I did the only thing I could.
I braced myself, taking a firm position on the ground, looking my enemy dead in the eye. It let out a roar, a deep bellow, showing off it's masculine ferocity, attempting to intimidate me, but I only released a roar just as powerful. It lowered it's head slightly, ready to ram it's ivory horns into me, but at the last moment, I slipped around it, barely missing it's horns by a hair, though that didn't stop it from reaching down and clamping onto my hind leg. I clenched my teeth, blocking out the pain; I could take the heat. I latched my claws into it's side before closing my jaws down on the bridge of it's nose.
It recoiled from the pain, releasing my leg, and I it's nose, before it immediately tried to lash out at me once more. I side-stepped it, before dashing in the other direction, first hoping it wouldn't follow, which it did, so my second hope was that I would lose it. I made it to the forest of Isket, and began trying to take every which way, path, and pull every trick I knew to lose the large and hungry male, but he still managed to make a beeline for me.
A log came up into my path, and so naturally I jumped over it, when I landed it was at first smooth, but a hidden root caught my foot, causing me to stumble in the other direction, and then down a large hill. I bumped down the whole way, rolling and smacking into the ground, even face first a few times.
The "joy ride" came to an end, and I laid on the ground, aching and panting, unable to move, and not that I wanted to either, I just wanted to rest, just for a few minutes...
Snap. I erected myself immediately, my legs shaking slightly, but I was ready. After standing like that for a few minutes I myself began to move, but the loud pounding of feet and hooves from behind me only pushed me on faster...
"Quest" for ArmorThis part of the woods was very strange and unfamiliar to me, I was horribly lost, not a scent I took in was reassuring. It was eerily silent, and when I began to hear a deep and slightly rasping breathing begin to get louder and closer to me, I slowly began to back up, getting closer and closer to bursting into a panic, but had to reassure myself that I would make it through whatever came at me now. A growl came from the direction of the breathing, and I knew it was the Krondor.
I turned, ready to split, but bumped into something hard and smooth. A large boulder towered before me, though when I saw all of the other boulders around it, I knew it was the smallest one. I turned my head, the gruff breathing getting closer, and without a second thought I sprang up and on top of the rock, trying to see if I could get a better view of where I was, and more importantly, my enemy's position.
Once steadily on it, I scanned the area around me, and cursed when I couldn't see a thing, the forest didn't consist of a common breed of tree, but instead one of the largest varieties I had ever seen. I turned around and looked over the rocks, and when I came to the last one, something peculiar caught my eye, glimmering in the rays of sunshine that managed to reach this part of the dense wood.
I slowly began to hop rocks, trying to get closer and closer to the object on the largest rock. What was it? It was nothing that I had ever seen before, so it couldn't have been natural.
I made it to the rock that was second away from the largest rock with the object on it. I jumped again, onto the rock right in front of the largest rock, but the moment my paw skinned the surface, it began to tumble. A new fear was brought to me, the fear of being crushed to death. The boulder began to roll and though I tried to stop it by moving in the opposite direction, it only made it move more.
I lost my footing, and began to slide off. I turned to see my boulder headed for another one in this stone yard, and new it was over for me. My claws began to scrape and screech against the boulder, and when I was for sure I would soon slip, my foot caught something. I quickly looked down and saw a dent in the rock, and my back feet firmly planted inside it. I frantically looked for a holding for my front feet and praised the first WoI's for giving me one.
With a strong push of my hind legs, and pull of my front ones, I came free of the boulder, just as it crashed into another, and then began a domino effect. I landed on another boulder, and when I looked, it was the biggest one, the one I had been aiming for.
I scooted around to the other side and found my mystery object, and my jaw dropped. There before me, was a black gold armor, with silvery blue lining, and bright turquoise stones. It was so tempting, and I just couldn't resist the urge to slip on the amazing armor, so I did.
It was so light, and it fit like a glove, I especially took a liking to the tail plates. A chain was attached to my ear armor, and connected with my shoulder armor, and with a twitch of my ear, the spikes flew open and out. I gaped, fully in awe, and wanted to savor this moment, but a growl from below took that moment away.
I looked down and saw the oh-so-friendly Krondor below, and had to catch myself as it slammed into the boulder, shifting it some.
I smiled and leaped down, just as it rammed into the boulder and caused it to roll off. I looked it dead in it's reptilian eyes and said,
"Bring it."It charged for me, and I for it, but I was quicker, and rammed into it, opening the shoulder spikes just before I made impact, and made a huge gash into it's side.
It came for me again, and with a new-found confidence, I swiped at it with my hard claws, and was then able to grab under it's head with my teeth, pinning it down to the ground, but before it could swipe at me, I brought my tail around, and stabbed it in the heart.
I stepped back as it stopped moving. I did it. I killed a Krondor...
TodayI made my way to the main WoI pack village, and when one approached me I said to it,
"I found a sacred armor deep in the forest, and since I know it is not rightfully mine, I ask if I may join and gain my right to have it and for a place in your society..."

Armor Concept ⊱ Alright, so if you've looked at the last pic in my art for her, you would have seen the current armor concept. In the description it currently says,
For one though, it's no where near done, just saying.
The main highlights of the armor though are the shoulder plate and the tail plates.
My (current) idea for the shoulder plate is that the biggest plates on the outside are more of a shield though all the ones inside of it are weapons. How so? Later on I'm going to make some armor over the ears and then attach a chain to each one that connects to each shoulder and when the wolf moves her ear in a certain way (still deciding if it will be up, down, left, right, or something more unique) all of those inner shoulder plates will spike outwards which helps so that the enemy can't get near her shoulder AND for the advantage if she body slams them ^^
Onto the tail armor. I saw few of the other W.o.I.'s had tail armor, though I am at least 98% positive that none had a spike at the end. Why a spike? For jabbing and stabbing enemies

Some other interesting aspects is the fact that overall my current thinking for the armor is that I want it to be sleek and sharp, which would kind of match the saying, "Quiet and Deadly". She has armor claws for when she scratches an enemy, those are still a work in progress, more detail and other enhancements need to be added. And the front of the chest plate, (which is still another work in progress), is (although hidden by the shoulder plate) attached to the back plates with a thick leather strap (maybe a chain?) and the end of chest plate (which really extends all the way under her belly to in between her hind legs) are two leather straps (may change to chain) that reach up like a V and go around her tail to connect to the last back plate before the first tail plate (the long curved one).
So far that is all, but I am totally up for suggestions and I will be still improving and changing the concept

Say 3 things about the WoI Species ⊱
History:
The Warrior of Isket ( WOI) live in a beautiful land but without any peace. They always fight against a big enemy.Their main rivals are chimera's who are a mix of horse and reptile. Both sides are at a constant fight for the reign of Isket; But neither side is strong enough to completely overrule the other. So the country is divided into 2 territories. One territory belongs to the Warriors, the other to the enemy otherwise known as, Kronadors. Even though both sides have their own areas, the Kronadors always the instigators of a fight against the Warriors, and even though it's been several years now, neither side is capable of defeating the other. Maybe in the far future, the Warriors will get back their Country and defeat the Kronadors once and for all.
Earning Armor:
The WoI's armor was found by the UR´s long, long time ago. The armor lay in a big cave deep in the old forest of Isket. Only the WoI's know the way and it´s one mission that every young WoI will have to go through to get their own special armor. It's a tough initiation because the forest is full of danger. The armor had been made from Humans 8,000 years ago, since then there have been no humans in Isket they became extinct due to the evolution the other animals had gone through.
Rules:
*Warrior of Isket are Wolf cross breeds and they should stay this way! NO Humans, or Anthro, and no Normal Wolves!
*Warrior of Isket could only be used in the planned RP!NO other RP except you have a permission from the whole WoI Board (Lilian Nightshade, Neara, TheWolfsgirl90, and apache~)
*If you don´t follow the rules, you will no longer a WOI Member or Owner.
{{ Just as a forewarning, I'm still slightly confused on the entire adoption thing here on WOI, and whether or not we can adopt them at the age they look or if they have to start out as pups and grow to adulthood and such, so if there are any mistakes that can be fixed in my form could a PM be sent my way? Thanks =) }}
