It was driving him insane. Edger had finally found himself a friend but when he took off his sunglasses... They just had to be the worst possible colour. A pastel pink nightmare. He hadn't noticed before since they only ever met outside so his sunglasses kept the colours tainted and know that he knew how could he stay near her? He felt sick to his stomach just knowing she was pastel but... was that enough to end their friendship?

Never before had Edger found another kal who understood him and actually considered him to be a friend. She didn't judge him and helped him with all his problems and worries yet, knowing that she was such a disgusting shade he couldn't even look at her now.
But Edger couldn't help but think maybe his fear wasn't enough to stop their friendship? Maybe it was time he learnt to get over it for not only her sake but his own well being. Being afraid of things such as an entire range of colours would do nothing more than continue to hinder him. And maybe if he explained it to her she'd be able to help him out, after all how could he abandon such a good friend for something so simple even if it was his biggest fear.
Edger nodded to himself as he came to the decision, running out the door leaving his shades behind for the first time in years.

Tori bit her lip as she stared at her phone. Her boyfriend Anthony wasn't home. Is it THAT bad to cheat like this? Tori slammed her phone down. No... Who am I becoming? I can't do this. This isn't like me. She sighed as she laid back on the couch & massaged her temples. Perhaps it was Anthony's absence that was causing her to act like this. She thought about his arms that were usually wrapped around her when they were together. She thought about Anthony's light snore when he slept, & the way he murmurs in his sleep. Tori wanted to think about Anthony, but her mind kept drifting.

Tori couldn't stand the temptation anymore. She grabbed her phone & typed a message with rapid fire speed.
"Be here in 10 minutes or less... My boyfriend isn't home."

Ding!

"Thank you for ordering! Your pizza will be delivered to you shortly."

Tori Grinned mischievously, Anthony was going to be sooOOoO disappointed (But he'll thank her later for the pizza). They agreed to diet together, & although Tori promised not to cheat on her diet, her hunger tested her loyalty. Tori's resolution was to order pizza instead of donuts.... That's healthier... Right? As much as she loved her boyfriend, she couldn't stick with her promise. Perhaps she'll just devour the whole pizza by herself & hide the evidence before he comes home.

You'd think Tori had another lover, but Tori would never cheat on Anthony like that. (She loved him too much) But cheating on their diet plan? Oh boy.

Loyalty. A word that meant little to Seraphim.

It terrified him to be able to even think like that, but he knew it was true. As a trader, your business would fail if you insisted on keeping to one supplier, no matter how great their wares are. If they consistently couldn't provide, then you had to cut your losses and find someone else. Being one who only charms and never courts didn't help.

But maybe he was at least somewhat redeemable. He had kept with his reckless friend Tybalt, even though by trader standards he would have ditched him long ago. Long, long ago.

Case study one. Sera had (stupidly, in reflection) decided that Tybalt was at least moderately trustworthy, and instructed him to help get some wares from a supplier. The weren't extremely expensive, but it was still a show of trust. What should have taken a bell toll yet three tolls later Tybalt was no where in sight.
Sera had went to investigate, and was extremely close to ditching the guy when he found out Tybalt had somehow landed on the wrong side of one of the many gangs in town. He had to pay much for his friend's freedom, and there wasn't a moment everyday since then when he wondered how his life would be if he hadn't paid. It took him months to recover the cost!

So maybe somewhere he had a shard of loyalty, although he really wished it was with someone not so reckless.

Ghastly and Seventy

Ghastly was banished from her world. Stuck in another dimension parellel to her own.
Silently wishing things could be different and they could go home. However Seventy has a home and family. So Ghastly was stuck here. They choose Seventy though over and over again. Ghastly was happy with a new family but things reminded them of home. The reflection in the water and snow.
It caused them pain to look at it but they loved snow. It was fun and reminded them of when they were a kit.
It didn’t happen too often and only once a year. Which was weird to them.
Wasn’t snow suppose to be all year? It was cold also which confused her even more.
The world was strange but Ghastly could change for those they loved.
It where Ghastly’s loyalties lay but only if homesickness didn’t ail them.
If they could realize banishment wasn’t a shame.
That the troubles didn’t haunt them when they looked into a mirror and they didn’t see themselves or even home.
The emptyness they felt inside themselves. So much given for so much gained.
Did they fail the clan? Were they selfish for wanting more?

Honor and loyalty - Elias had been brought up to value those over anything else. He was the son of a commodore whose ships were recognized across the world - whose reputation made it nearly impossible for Elias to make a name for himself. It was not a bad reputation by any means; Elias’ father commanded his ships with a soft demeanor and a strict moral code, which wasn’t always in accordance with that of the royal navy that employed him. Elias, naive as he was, never thought this would be a problem - but when his father’s ship was the only one to not return from one of the expeditions, it did not take him long to deduce why.

A trainee at the royal naval academy, Elias strived to be the top of his class so that he could follow in his father’s footsteps. When the rumors began to circulate that his father had been assassinated for defying the crown, he didn’t know what he should do - commit his talents and hard work to those that took his father from him, or leave? He knew his father always dreamed of him being a great naval captain, but Elias couldn’t help now but to look at his commanders with disgust. While his family’s loyalty had lain with the crown for generations, he decided that he must avenge his father, and make a new name for himself.

With the fires of vengeance fueling him, Elias abandoned the academy and sought out the loyal men who had once served his father. Whether or not they would join him, Elias knew that he needed his own crew - along with a new ship, he would sail the seas as a rogue captain.

Kendall stared down Raymond accusingly, who slowly backed up with his hands in the air. "Calm down, kids..."

"No!" Tom burst out, normally more quiet. "You will resolve this!" Raymond rubbed the back of his head nervously. Now he had two kids staring him down...

Kendall stepped forward again. "Who. Is. The. Winner?"

Now, Raymond hadn't actually seen the game. The kids just thought he had - and well, they couldn't decide among themselves, so the decision was left to Raymond. He just had to act confident.

"Well, I clearly know who the winner is," Raymond declared, glancing at the screen and inspecting it carefully, in his detective mode.

"Dad, the screen won't show you anything... you were watching, right?" Tom asked.

"Of course! In fact, I have realized that the winner is - " Raymond paused, and Kendall and Tom stared up at him with bated breath.Who would be better to have on my good side, and who would be worst to have on my bad side... Shoot. They were both bad to have on his bad side.

"Anddd?" Kendall prompted, leaning forward accusingly.

"K-kendall! Kendall is the winner," Raymond spat out. Kendall leaned back with a smirk, and Tom looked like a cloud had just passed over his face. Shoot - bad choice, bad choice -

Raymond spent the rest of the day as the butt of Tom's roasts, and Kendall didn't even try to stop it. Great.

Valentin was away from his girlfriend, Meg, while he was doing some photo-shoots for his modeling job. Of course, since he was naturally flirty, he tended to hit on some of his feminine co-workers. He didn't see any harm in flirting since he knew Meg was working as well and she probably wouldn't find out. Valentin loved Meg dearly and he wouldn't go behind her back, but he really couldn't help his flirting. If she was here with him then his attention would be all hers, but unfortunately he was doing this job alone.

He deeply missed Meg and although he wasn't coming home to her for another week, they called every night that they could and they just talked the night away but never once was the occasional flirting mentioned. Valentin didn't exactly feel bad for flirting with others because it was something that he had to do, really. It was kind of part of his job as a famous model. But nothing else happened besides that. Valentin valued his girlfriend as his soulmate. He won't do certain photo-shoots that would boost his popularity because he knew that Meg wouldn't enjoy them, such as posing with other females. No, no. He loved his girlfriend way too much to upset her over something dumb like that.

If he had to choose between his girlfriend and his fame, well, he would certainly choose his girlfriend.
