I was sleeping in my bed when suddenly I heard a 'beep-beep' sound.It was my phone.

3 missed calls and one message

"-Darn, I'm so late! my phone didn't wake me and I've almost missed today's photo shooting."
As quickly as I could, I took a shower and dressed up, then I went to the park shortcut.I couldn't focus on the people that were around me, so I was just hoping they'll notice I'm in a hurry and step away.While I was running I had this bad idea to check my phone, so no sooner after I did that, I bumped into someone.Eyes like the blue sky, sparkling and full of life, I couldn't help but stare.She seemed like a normal, but I don't know but I felt my stomach tickling.You know that feeling when you're in love? I think that was what it was.I was brought back to reality by her screaming and I gazed astonished at the brunette in front of me.
"-Oh my god, no! that dog wasn't mine.I must find it quickly or I'll be in big trouble!" she shouted, barely noticing me. I realized she was talking about a dog as I was just sitting there confused
She turned back to me, apologizing and introducing herself
"-Oh, I'm so sorry, I haven't noticed you!I mean- I did since you bumped into me- Let me help you to get up. My name is Coccinelle and I'm sorry about earlier"
"-It is alright, and I should be the one apologizing. My name is Abel. So say, Coccinelle, could I help you find that dog? This is at least I can do so I can make up for earlier."
She nodded, noticing my phone that was vibrating in desperation
"-Perhaps you'd like to take that, and don't worry about the dog, I see you're in a hurry and that you're needed elsewhere."
I decided to help her.I was already late for the shooting anyway.
"-Ok then, let's go after it." she said, seeming slightly embarrassed and blushing.
I was three or four feet behind her when I decided to ask more about her.
"-So, that's what you do in your spare time? taking care of people dogs?"
"-Well, apparently.I need extra money for college, but that's not the only thing I do.I work at the coffee shop past the street, on the weekdays after school.The thing with the dogs is what I do on weekends, plus I like dogs. What about you?"
"-Me? oh, I don't do much, from time to time I'm called to photo sessions and I earn a few money, but actually my parents are the ones who support me."
"-Lucky you, actually you really are good looking" she whispered, but I ignored that, taking it as a compliment.
"-Yeah well, that's where I was heading to this morning until I met you." I said, smiling at her.She didn't reply back, but instead, she smiled and blushed.
We searched for the dog for half a day.My phone was still shut so whoever tried to contact me by then, couldn't reach me.I enjoyed the time I spend with her and finally by the end of the day, we found the dog three blocks away from the park searching food through garbage near a restaurant.
After the incident, I started talking more with her at school and visit the place where she works.Coccinelle and I are very close friends now, knowing almost everything about each other, we hang out almost every day in different places.

personality:Abel is a calm and friendly person, who likes to hang out with friends and talk about any subject, especially with Coccinelle.Because of his appearance, he integrates easy and that's mainly why he has so many friends, but he doesn't consider all of them close friends, just people to hang out or chat.When he has a bad day, he finds a refuge in art and music such as writing poems, also he likes to learn different languages.When time demands it, Abel goes to photo shootings, but he doesn't do it for the money as mostly his parents support him with money, it is just for fun, exposure and enjoyment.

"No Ladybird, get ready for a cat fight."

"Yeah, been working on that for a while~"
"It's good it's good... Anyways where were we... "


That's how it went between the two of them. Catman and Ladybird were an odd pair together during Ladybird's days of treachery. But Alex has another life apart from Catman. He had a life before he showed up as Catman!


It was a glorious day in Paris, Alex's little brother Plagg was celebrating his birthday. Later on that evening, Alex has to go to a dressup party for Plagg's birthday, but he doesn't want to go because he hates Plagg and hates dressup. Alex is also really snobby and stuck up but he is forced to go to the party. He puts on a cat mask and a fake tail with fake ears, reluctantly going to this party full of young children. Alls good at the party, mainly because he was hiding beside the food when Plagg and some other kids scream. That's when they first met. Ladybird, and the upcoming Catman.

"Ooo, pretty kitty! Wanna help me?" She winks.
Alex is struck in the heart with love. He helps Ladybird, but doesn't know what to do so he flails his arms to try help. He starts crushing on Ladybird, of course who wouldn't?

"Thank you my little meow meow, what do you say.. wanna work together as my sidekick?" She coos, jokingly.
Alex refuses, he's too stuck up to be a sidekick!! Pfft, why did he have to be the sidekick? No.. he was a born leader. Then again.. Ladybird was really pretty and he did have a slight crush on her.. So Alex does it anyways. Not because he wants to of course... erm...

Of course Ladybird doesn't mean sidekick though, why would be? She wants Alex to be a superhero to fight with, she's just saving the betrayal speech and well practiced monologue for later. Ladybird takes Alex along for the ride, 'liberating' pieces of sparkling jewellery from their 'horrible captors'. Alex starts to catch on after joining the oh so secret love of his life on these heists, and calls her out on what she's doing.

"Oh darling, of course I was using you! Did you actually think that we were going to save all of the jewellery? At this rate, I would have needed a walk in wardrobe for all my expenses! Thank you Catman for your help~"
And with that, Ladybird disappeared into the night leaving Alex on a rooftop in disbelief.

"Did she... she just.. call me darling?" Alex wondered aloud.
No, he wasn't going to be used. Not after being betrayed by his love, no. He was too stuck up for that! He would become a superhero, and help Paris regain their shining accessories and maybe get together with Ladybird more often oh ho. Besides, all edy emo superheroes have betrayal in their past!

He becomes a super hero, but doesn't exactly know what he's doing. Leading a double life makes him feel edgy towards his parents though, so he enjoys it. Instead of helping the world, he flails his arms and yells meow, hiss, all the noises regular cats make.
Who would have thought that Alex, an edgy emo Kalon, would become the world's next superhero and not know what to do? Alex takes his chance though and uses every opportunity to try be an edgy cat version of Batman, but cooler. Emphasizing tries of course.

But that's not all to Alex's story. Following on with Alex's crush on Ladybird, after their epic amazing open terrific exhilerating fail battle scenes, the pair of them would occassionally go get some pizza together without their costumes. Alex finds out about who Ladybird is, but never tells anyone about Kokopelli Chong. That would ruin their fun together! So they keep the secrets among themselves and have some little catfights together on rooftops. He enjoys their meetings together, and wishes he could do it every day and not once a week.

"You were monologing like usual. You know, good villains don't usually reveal their whole plan."
"Good villains might not but great villains do!"
"You enjoy this too much."
"So do you cat- now come on. You gonna try and stop me or not?"
"No, I'm not going to try. I WILL stop you. Prepare yourself mademosielle~"
"Just don't ruin my shoes Alex or you are paying for them."
"Ugh, when do you not talk about clothes."
"Never."
"Can you stop then?"
"Make me~"
"Ok ok hold up. Why are we even fighting, seriously. You wanna go get some pizza or something?"
"What? No, why? We were about to do an epic fight scene! Come on, Catman."
"But all the fighting makes me hungry! Lets go get some pizza and continue this later! Please~?
Uh..uhm, ok fine then. We'll come back and finish it later..~"

Felix looked up to the night with big, sad, lonely eyes. 'Mother, where have you gone?' Felix sighed into the night. His mother left him when he was young, too bored of the simple, boring life that living in this peaceful town has given her. Felix can relate. He doesn't really miss his mother, but rather envy her.
