personality: Kestrel is a bit, odd to say the least. He tends to keep to himself and his hobbies and generally doesn't like company. This distaste for companionship may stem from the fact that his mannerisms tend to make others uncomfortable. Kestrel is perfectly comfortable talking about death and hardship and all those kinds of topics that polite society tends to steer clear of. He is often lost in a world of his own and social situations make him very anxious.

medium 1: Reading Tea Leaves
explanation 1: What can come across as weird, and perhaps a little morbid to other babusagi Kestrel finds soothing. Despite what popular rumor may say of him, he does not go around smashing others and reading their remains, he gets his tea leaves from the strainers of the great, big, forest factory. So in a way they come from babusagis, but from their births and not their deaths. Kestrel likes to brew up a pot of these leaves, pour out the tea, and read the leaves. For example, in the cup above he sees two ghosts tormenting a man. One of the ghosts represents the future and one of them the past, and Kestrel sees this as a reminder to live in the present for that is all we have.

medium 2: Designing Tee-shirts
explantion 2: A more light-hearted way Kestrel spends his time is by designing tee-shirts online. He can rarely afford to print them but he does own a couple that he has designed. Every tee-shirt that he has ever created he has saved and sworn to one day own, but even if that's simply a dream for the future just designing them is a comfort for the present.

I thought spring break was supposed to give me free time.
Anyway I have some results for you all!

First off I want to give trans a HM and a watermelon potion!
I really liked the moodboard and the short story! They felt soft...

And the winner is hazilnut! Congrats!!
I just can't get over the tea leaves, it really stuck with me! And, fun fact, this was originally going to be a contest to design his tee-shirt. It felt serendipitous.
