hello! wrote:my name's oisin, and my name means "little fawn, big warrior" in scottish! my friends call me "bucky," while my very-snobby parents call me "raisin" because.. well.. my name actually sounds like the word "raisin". you just gotta replace the "o" with a "ra"- but golly.. it's embarrassing! my parents also call me by my full name- oisin roe-hart (and the funny thing is that they all mean the same thing, or at least, have to do with deer!)
gender; female bisexual | biromantic | bi-gender
theme song; "hall of fame" - the script
favorite movie; zootopia
why? wrote:it's an interesting movie, to begin with! it has an interesting plot, interesting characters, and even interesting settings- but the real reason is the animation. i, oisin, am an animator, zoologist, and anthropologist, and i appreciate how zootopia reflected the technology of humans by using its civilians. along with that, when i saw the movie for the first time, i couldn't help but examine the ways the characters moved, spoke, everything basically. i also amazed by how realistic the fur looked on the characters. it provides texture- and to my eyes, it actually looked like actual texture, but of course, it was implied.
however, every movie has its flaws, especially when it's a big favorite of mine. one major flaw that i noticed was the fact that it was sort of fast-paced. a good movie needs to have a constant level of pace- i mean, come on! another flaw that i noticed was the fact that the obstacles the movie was really interested were erected by society in the form of stereotypes and prejudices. lots of the characters were deifying their stereotypes, and there was a huge amount of prejudice in the movie.
but.. what really mattered was its message. the message was clear, and it was very touching to me. yes, it might sound cheesy and overused, but really.. it isn't. trying hard and not letting others daunt your shine is a message we've all heard, but also a message that is true.

name; Cervas
gender; Female
theme song; Nine Lashes- Galaxyfavorite movie; "Now You See Me"
why; Cervas is absolutely obsessed with magic. She can't wrap her head around how these tricks are done, and spends many hours each day either looking for the next show, or practicing her own skills. They aren't too good yet, but she's working on it. Now You See Me is a fantastic movie all about magic and how it can be used for good, much like robin hood, and the action, characters, and plot twist lure her in every single time she watches it. She doesn't hesitate to bring it up to anyone that she has a conversation with, much to their dismay, and she often drags them into watching the movie with her. And with the second one coming out soon, she's even more enthusiastic than ever!

Don't Blink
(Bonus; why?);
Dez is a horror movie fanatic, under the claim that "Not all deer are jumpy!" In an effort to prove this to his friends, he streams as many horror moves as he can. Psychological horror is his absolute favorite, and Don't Blink made his fur stand on end the most of all the movies he's seen (which is a lot). He recommends it to everyone he meets.

Why? Cinderella was raised with two stepsisters and stepmother who treated her unfairly and terribly after her father's death. Despite being treated so unkindly, she showed no resentment or hostility towards them. It teaches us that even if we are treated terribly by people, we should still be kind and thoughtful to all.

Name: Katniss
Gender: Female
Theme Song
She's A Rebel- Green Day (Don't worry, it's clean!)Favorite Movie
The Hunger Games
Why?
From the very beginning, all the Viscets of Viscet Forest knew Katniss was a little rebel. (Just look at that face!) She may have looked like a little deer, but she was far from it! Even as a Viscling, she was a powerful hunter with a talent for slipping out under the watchful eyes of the elders, just like her namesake. While the other Visclings were learning how to pounce on mice, she had already mastered tackling rabbits and geese with the help of her perfectly camouflaged coat. She always loved adventure movies, and when she finally saw Hunger Games, she had found an obsession. It was a perfect film, in her eyes, from the cool futuristic technology to the amazing quotes to the intense fight scenes. She tried to braid her mane (as you can see, with no success), learn archery, and has read all the Hunger Games books countless times. She is obsessed with everything about the movie and will make sure you know just how much like the character Katniss she can be.

Jesus LOVES you! He cares for you regardless of your gender orientation, ethnicity, abilities, and even religion. He has given everything for you...
~John 3:16~
"For God so LOVED the world that He sent His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." I believe in Jesus Christ and I am not afraid to admit it! Be strong in the LORD!

Name; ElijahGender; MaleFavorite Movie; StardustTheme Song; Disturbed - The LightWhy Is That Movie Their Favorite?; Elijah grew up always being the played,
and ignored little boy. He protected his little brother from everything, and hoped the
girls he liked could see him as some one other than a babysitter. Stardust showed him
that with time, he could find someone who never though of him as a little child in the
first place. Someone who respected him and learned who he actually was. Whether it be
just a friend, or a romantic life partner, Elijah was tired of being stomped on by fakes.

Name;
Miranda(Mira)
Gender;
Female
Theme song;
Favorite movie;
The Brothers Grimm
Why?;

Mira has always been one for Fairy Tales. She has always dreamed of escaping into a world of magic... but also of fear. Many Fairy tales are quite grim on closer inspection, and there's nothing about them she doesn't grasp. But that only intrigues her more. She wants above anything to journey into the weird and the wicked. She want it all, the horror and magic of fantasy. The Brothers Grimm offers such an approach to Fairy Tales. It shows the twisted side of fantasy, and the reality of the wickedness of people which even the worst, most vicious and evil magic could not account to. And at the very end of the movie, comes the happily ever after. Or does it? Nothing truely ends such as that. That's just not life. Evil will always reign. And as the last scence comes and goes in a flash, she is left with a contented(and also slightly disturbing) grin plastered to her sweet face. She knows that look doesn't seem to suit her. But it does, just as the ending does. No one is safe from cruel reality, but some can make it better by adding just a pinch of fairy tale, enough to wash out the unwanted and boring. She adores the movie. All the creepyness, the fear, the screaming, the magic. Magic is very, very real to her. She sees it in all the things that people cannot explain. Magic, of course, is just science that nobody understands yet.
