name; Masa
gender; Male

As a young viscling who hatched in the eastern parts of Africa, Masa recieved his name due to his pelt. His name's orgin is from Japan, and means "true sand". As he grew older, a drought came upon the land where his family lived. They fed on what little they could find; the main thing being nuts and berries, yet they were not quite as plentiful in that part of the land. The family succesfully made it to a different part with little ease; but it was worth it. Masa's family had found a colony of viscets, and joined them.

Yet, as life went on, it became the time for Masa to move on side by side with life and start one of his own. With final goodbyes, he single-handedly left his home, his colony, his family, and traveled into a land that was safe to call the unknown.

Sure, maybe a few times he regretted his desicion. But he wanted to start anew; back at his home, there was a routine. Wake up. Eat. Hunt. Sleep. But no, he wanted adventure. A meaning to live, to find love and work for the things he wanted. It was a dull, boring life at his old home, and when he thinks about it, he doesn't feel bad for leaving anymore.

But his true adventure has only just began. He has high hopes for this new life, and where ever it may take him, he will be ready.

Help me. I'm crying. Seriously, I have admired him from a far and now. AHH!!!!!!

Name: Líng Shā
Translation: Sand Spirit
Gender: Male
Bio:

The consistent roar echoed across the vast sand of the burning desert. The source was three quads, each painted gold with a black stripe around it. The center rider wore a backpack, broad and stretched by its smooth, round contents. The riders wore bandanas and goggles over their helmet-less faces while the roaring machines below them threw the sand into furious spirals of dirt and air. Overhead, the sun pounded on their backs, glowering menacingly at the three riders.

The peak of the group turned to the left, followed shortly by the other two and chased fervently by a raging cloud of dust. They rode on for several hours until the target location was finally visible. A small flat of packed in dirt with little vegetation sprouting from the dry earth and surrounded by three of the tallest dunes in the desert. The only way in and out was a narrow path in which a human could only pass through if they were a foot in width. In other words, turn sideways and shuffle, which is what the three had to do. They stopped their quads and killed the engines, removing the keys to prevent theft from rouges in the area. The leader removed the backpack from his shoulders and unzipped the top to reveal a large white egg decorated by dazzling golden spots. Without a word, the three shuffled through the pass, the leader holding the egg over head with a companion on each side, until they entered the flat. It was there that the egg was placed along with several different machines to monitor it, contain it, and eventually tame it. It was all for the sake of a colony that was withering in the north. If this failed, it was over.
After the set up, the three men left in a roaring of engines, the same way they came, abandoning the speckled egg in the hard dirt of the flat land. It didn't take long for the egg to crack. As predicted, it was extremely close to hatching when it was left. The egg wobbled and jerked side to side before falling over and rolling in an arced path. There it wobbled and jerked some more until a piece snapped off and flew three feet away. A paw moved from the hole and was replaced by a snuffling, curious nose that huffed feverously at the air before pulling away. A pause. Then another wobble. Then the paws returned to the hole, pushing and scratching at the shell as they slowly forced the soft matter away. After several minutes, the egg tipped to the left, spilling a gold and cream Viscet out into the hard dirt below.

total absolute wip I swear I am crying right now halp!!!!

Here and there, kinda like a ghost now. Still debating quitting but I love my viscets too much to just leave without finding them perfect homes, so I am not sure yet. Please do not ask for one of my remaining viscets out of the blue... Those who aren't going to friends will be placed for public adoption or kept

Name: Dune Selmer
Gender: Male
Bio: Dune hatched on his own by the heat of the sun and found himself abandoned. He didn't consider it abandoned though, he just thought more of himself as a loner and doesn't mind the solitude one bit because he is never completely alone. He had insane dreams about what probably could have happened to his parents; of course as he got older they got more reasonable but they were still crazy. Dune grew up in the desert but is quite the world traveler. He loves places with sand over everything else because he can dig his paws into the warm sand on a hot, sunny day and feel it sinking into his paw pads. He tends to somehow attract and find baby animals. He's a very nurturing viscet and loves peace and harmony but he is never afraid to fight to protect what he loves and believes in. Growing up in the wild led him to be a rather healthy-eating viscet and he absolutely loves to drink water with fruits in them as flavor. Growing up in the desert also created his dislike for getting wet but crazily enough his favorite animals were ducklings. He absolutely loves ducklings and all things soft and gentle. As a teenage viscet, Dune found eggs... he suspected them to be snake eggs because why would duckling eggs be in the desert. As he slept nearby that night he heard the slight cracking of their eggshells as they hatched. Ducklings take on the first creature they see as their parent and as fate would have it that creature was Dune; ever since then he has loved ducklings. The sun always brought a comfort to him as he became an adult viscet and he could never get over his fear of the dark; he always gets really jumpy and nervous at night. There were never a lot of humans living where he grew up so the only holiday he ever knew was Christmas and he loved it! He loved giving gifts to random passing creatures and hung lights all over the desert rocks and canyons because he loves the way the lights reflect off of the cool sand at dawn and dusk. Because of his background with heat, thanks to the desert, Dune became something of a semi-pyromaniac and absolutely loves fire because of it's beauty and warmth.Through his adulthood, Dune began to look for more meaning in his life. As much as he hated cities he began to go into them but only to two places, a bakery that doubled as a coffee shop and right next door, an adorable little pet shop where Dune volunteered, helping all of the little ones. When he wasn't there he was either out doing his thing in the desert or searching for the one. He really wants a family of his own one day and lots of little visclings. As of recently, Dune just got back home to the desert from the world of back roads and mud. Racing through the warm grass he often took comfort in the dirt of the barns because it was the closest he could get to sand. He did cause a slight bit of mischief throughout the farms although accidentally.. mostly just by spooking creatures by.. well.. being a viscet. After he got homesick he had to return to the desert but his next adventure is going to be off the coast of a beach, yep, Dune is going to be in the water. It's way out of his comfort zone but he thinks he's ready to face the water.

name; Solaris
Origin - Of pertaining to the sun
gender; female
bio;
Solaris is very bright and cheerful like the sun. She loves the summer and the desert as well as the beach. She's not a fan of the cold so she prefers warm and hot things. She also collects sand in glass bottles as well as scented candles. One of her favorite methods of R&R is the hot sand baths common in Ibusuki, Japan and Siwa, Egypt. Although the sand is heavy and renders a person from moving the heat of the sand is soaked into the body fighting away the built up stress. She doesn't like bullies and hypocrites as well as cynical viscets and would prefer the company of positive viscets. She's in a pack with Wynsdrrawr, Seilan, Hollow, and Ren. Usually when summer arrives she takes viscets to the beach where everyone can play and have fun as well as trying out the hot sand baths that she just can't resist trying out at least 3 times each viscet. She likes to chat and share jokes to pass the time with Hollow and enjoys watching the sun set around the end of the day since it's a real treat for the eye of the beholder, in this case, Solaris.
