The cold wind nips at your heels as you travel into the high mountains that he calls his home. You take the first few steps into the snow covered lands that makes it clearly distinguishable as to where he lives, the bright white of the freshly fallen snow contrasting against the grey, dull, and seemingly lifeless mountain terrain. You would think that a Nomad such as he would prefer to live in the shadows, be unnoticeable and just about invisible. Well he is different. The lion that lives and thrives in this area is unlike any other. He is much different from the other pride lions and a whole different way of thinking. Some call him a rebel and some call him just another lion who just happened to have different views of the world. One who has opened their eyes to new things rather than just accepting tradition that has been passed down through generation to generation. Although he may not have lived as long as others he has heard the tales. He has seen the changes that are happening now from high up upon his mountaintop and knows that only another war is brewing. As a nomad he is supposed to be sided with the pride of course but as for being himself he is simply on his own side. A side that wants change as he believes its for the better.

Aquilo is more of a free spirit that just wants to find the truth in everything without influences from the already biased surroundings and its inhabitants. He often ask why and how things are the way the are as he is always questioning things. He prefers living alone up in the mountains to live by his own rules and beliefs free from the traditions of the pride. He isn't afraid to say what he believes is and is very opinionated which is why he doesn't fit in well with prides as he believes that they are to dedicated to tradition and such rather than considering possible change which is what he is after. He says that there is always room for change and improvement and clearly shows that today as he is better than some of the warriors that 'fate' had chosen to have the warrior mane. Truthfully he is only this way because he sorta despises fate for not giving him a warrior mane which would have allowed him to become the warrior that he desired to be. It's almost contradicting how he wants the truth in everything yet wont accept that him not becoming a warrior is what caused him to change and move away from the pride and denies it..

Aquilo's chosen rank is to unfortunately be a nomad
after his initial wanted rank was basically ripped from
him as he did not grow a warrior's mane. He did not feel
as if he could be used elsewhere ,therefore he left the
pride to go do as he wishes away from it.

His element is Ice.

A lion with the gift of Ice can: Manipulate water and
freeze it, take the ice and use as sharp projectiles.
Can create snow storms, blizzards, etc. Make the
ground beneath them freeze up.

Aside from the usual Aquilo also likes to make replicas
of himself out of ice to use for battle practice as well
as other sorts of sculptures. His favorite thing to so is
to make a sort of wind chime out of icicles as their
music and sounds calm him.

✲History✲
As far as history goes, Aquilo had a pretty normal childhood. The only thing that stuck out was his determination to become a warrior as he was told many tales of the past wars and the lions' history. With every passing day as a cub he trained and trained in order to someday reach his goal of becoming a warrior and maybe eventually head warrior as it was a common dream shared among him and his friends. It wasn't until his 200th year that things began to become a bit shaken up. Following his transformation into his adult form he realized that he didn't have a warrior's mane. Instead he had a full mane that was normal among the regular pride males. He didn't think that this would be much of a problem since he showed so much heart as a cub and was very dedicated to being a warrior ,but obviously it was a big deal. Others argued that since he did not get a warrior male's short mane it meant that fate decided that perhaps it wasn't his true calling. He of course thought otherwise and argued that specific traits shouldn't define what rank you could hold. Sure his mane could have slowed him down a bit more on a battle field, but it was more protection in case an enemy did try to aim for a quick kill from the neck unlike the shorter maned males who were all open for a possibly fatal attack. It wouldn't have hurt to perhaps give it a try as he could always work on his speed to make him faster if that was an issue. However, It was almost as if his defenses fell upon death ears as they continued to say that fate had just not destined for him to be a warrior, but to him it was more like they were more resilient to change how tradition had always been. This caused him to leave. He didn't want for his true potential to be hindered just because of them and their unwillingness to adapt. He left to go live where he didn't have to follow their rules, where he would be more open to change and whatever good or bad things that come from it and he believes that he had made the best choice in the world. He took all that he learned from his time growing up there and surpassed any sort of training that was ever made for those with his element. He had created techniques that had never been seen before and surely ones that he would never share. Observed more from his lone mountaintop then they will see ,secrets that could be beneficial to the pride or perhaps even the rebels. For now he keeps them to himself as his loyalties truly lies nowhere yet ,but he will offer them to whoever is willing to accept change first whoever that may be.

Aletrix is a fairly shy and reserved lion. Though he is introverted, Aletrix became a cub trainer. He tends to stray from interaction with other lions, and is awkward and unconfident when he does.

Aletrix is highly intelligent and can easily solve nearly any problem or puzzle, making him a good tutor; he can figure out the best way to teach a cub in anything and everything it needs to be taught. He enjoys figuring out complex problems and testing his mind.
➵ Strength
He is strong enough to defend himself with his powers (freezing), but not strong enough to fight in a battle or war physically.
➵ Teaching : Interaction
He is slow to anger but easy to annoy, as his students have quickly learned and used to their advantage. Despite this, all cubs he has taught have turned out as fine members of the pride. He is nice when he needs to be, but his lack of true social interaction (with adult lions, that is) certainly cripples him in his kindness. He can definitely be nice when he shouldn't, or aggressive when he doesn't need to be. However, when he is around open-minded people like himself, he can be extremely chatty and talkative.

He is highly objective, and is usually labeled as unemotional and unfeeling. However, he truly is an emotional lion, but chooses not to show it, usually out of fear of being rejected. He can sometimes let his emotions get the best of him, especially when he is angry.

When Aletrix does truly become angry, he can become extremely irrational and violent, but only when he is extremely angry. Usually his anger is born of frustration, and only leads to him simply giving up; but only after trying a little to hard to do whatever it is that caused him to become angry.

➵ Unknown Parents
Aletrix was born to two nomadic lions. The two wanted their son to have a better life with other lions, unlike their lonely wandering. They were old, and simply wanted Aletrix to be happy. When he was about six months old, the two left their son close to the pride's camp.
➵ Fostered
After being found, Aletrix was raised by a foster family. He was raised as a normal cub, never knowing the truth about his parents. Besides his heritage, he was raised without any problems, except his shy, unsociable demeanor.
➵ Truth
When he was finally told about his parents, his true parents, he went into a strange isolation, staying in his own quarters for days on end. Wracked with confusion, he secluded himself from the pride. He was angry at his foster parents for never telling him. When he finally emerged, he seemed to be calmer, happier, and more mature. He now lives with the pride, at peace with his heritage.

Aletrix's power of ice means he can freeze anything within his reach at will. He does not have perfect control over his powers, but can still skillfully use them to attack and defend. With a touch from his teeth, paws, or tail, he can encase any object completely in ice. He, however, can only summon ice through touch upon solid objects or liquid, meaning fur, water, rock, et cetera, but not out of thin air. He can (with great difficulty) conjure a snow, ice, or hail storm. A strike from his power-filled tail can instantly freeze any solid object or liquid as well, quicker than any other body part, within a few seconds. His power is greater than that of the average lion.

One of his most favorite activities is to make ice sculptures. He enjoys constructing very small sculptures, which continue to get increasingly more and more intricate and complex. He only summons sculptures when he is alone, however, as he is very shy.
