➡Affectionate
Inglor is very affectionate. Ever since he met *iqena 24 name here*, he has been very strict about kindness among one another. Whether it's respecting someone or loving them dearly, he will do anything to help one in need just because of his love for the others around him.
➡Over protective
Inglor is over protective towards his loved ones. As a child, Inglor lost his best friend, Ayame to cruel iqenas. Not wanting to lose another one of his loved ones, Inglor adapted to being defensive within a split second once a threat slipped out of someone's mouth.
➡Selfless
Inglor isn't even that selfish. He puts everyone else before himself, even if it means dying in battle for someone he doesn't even know. He wants everyone to be safe and not in danger literally every second. If a young iqena was in danger, he would jump forward and take all the heat and weight onto his shoulders, no matter how much it broke him.
Reserved
Despite Inglor's huge nature for helping other iqena, he is actually quite reserved. He doesn't really stand up much or even yell.He only breaks this part of his personality when someone is in danger.
Hi, I'm Mikani's partner and here is the story of 24 and 23. Shali and Inglor
Inglor was always the fierest of all the iqena, he likes to think. He fights so hard, he hates being the freak. His horns, yellow eyes and eyes on his shoulder. Even the lion tail. He would fight his way to indepenance and respect. Forget being kind
The fierce iqena stalked the small territory he took for himself. He was one of the more... Territorial iqena. A few would wander into his land. He would stare them down, follow them, till they left. Threats were easy for him, his pure yellow eyes scaring away intruders. Until the day men came into his home. He never had to deal with humans before. But he stared them down, they were unfearful and looked at him with greedy eyes and cruel smiles. One of them withdrew a rope and lassoed it over his neck. Inglor glanced down at the rope now on his neck. He huffed and bucked, shooting off away from the rider. The rope slid from his hand, he must've thought that capturing the maroon iqena was going to be easy. The men circled him, he took it as a chanlenge. He snarled at them and bucked. They lassoed him more, holding tight. It took six ropes to keep him still. They slowly dragged him to a village. A barn near the back. He protested as best he by pushing his hooves into the dirt. He thrashed and bucked. When he was in the barn, he broke from one of the ropes and was instantly re-lassoed. He huffed and made angry noises toward the men. They lashed him to the highest beam, with quite strong rope. He couldn't manage it and was very tired. He then, soon realized, there was another creature other than the men in the barn. It was a light blue iqena with bright orange eyes, extra legs and a mouth on its neck, and of course saber teeth. He looked at the creature sideways and kept an eye on its actions. The environment around the creature was smoothed, like it had walked over it for such a long time, over and over again. But he wouldn't concern himself with such a creature.
A few hours it seemed later, after he had been pacing the entire time. The pale blue creature spoke up
"Are you alright" it was a female, very obvious by her voice. But he did not need her pity. He looked at her with a dark glare and growled. Pleased with himself when she flinched
"I'm sorry" she quickly corrected. He felt much better now. Pity was not something he appreciated or felt he needed to receive even in the worst of situations. He began to mumble and pace once again
After such a long time, he had gotten quite tired of waiting to realize escape and figure it all out "is there a way out" he spoke up, looking toward the pale blue female who was laying down. Her head seemed to perk up
"Only the front door, I've been here a long time and haven't found a way out... I'm Shali, by the way"
"Inglor.. Do you want to try and bust out?" he spoke softly, but with a growl to his voice, it was only natural for him. He heard her scramble to her hooves
"but how would we do that? The rope is too strong and you have more rope than me" her voice had a frightened voice to her already slightly irritating voice.
"well, we can work together, tangle ourselves up and pull as a team." he had to admit he was happy, and hopeful about his plan. He wanted so desperately to be free again.
"Alright" the female, Shali, spoke hesitantly. He didn't want her being so hesitant but she was all he had to work with so, he would have to learn to accept her short comings
"Great" he said with his eyes shining and his voice filled with glee "We'll do it at night when they are sure to be asleep
He stayed awake all through the day and into the night. When the night had finally fallen, he stomped his hooves, rousing Shali from her sleep. He watched her get up and shake off bits and pieces that stuck to her pale fur.
"is it time already she said softly. But her voice shook with fear, he could hear it as clear as day.
"yea, Shali, come on, help me" he looked toward her, hoping he could help jump start her into bravery.
"okay" her voice was still hesitant. But they got close. As close as lovers would and began to circle each other closely like yin and yang. They tangled the ropes up, if they pulled together, they would be weak. This method only worked with two beings of strength and he hoped she had enough. Inglor gave the cue, and both him and Shali rushed forward hard, and pulled as hard as they could. He heard the wood give a loud groan and he felt a sense of triumph. The rope snapped, and they ran. Inglor kicked open the door and he let out a little roar. They galloped to the village edge before they were met with the men, surrounding them. They looked at each other, and ran fast as the could in a different direction, sticking together. But, they were cut off. They were both roped down. As they were roped down, Inglor fought as hard as he could, and watched Shali go down, she was too weak. "get up" he yelled, but his voice was lost in the chaos. But, soon after he spoke these words, he was struck by one of the men and went down. They were then dragged back to their former prison. Their shackles now enforced with chain. Men circled them both and Inglor couldn't help but stare at Shali with fear
"Would you like to know what happens to freaks who disobey?"
Inglor glanced at Shali, Shali glance at him. They both looked toward the humans with disgust, and hatred. And Inglor snarled hatefully, his eyes bright with rage. And hence, the humans decided to retaliate
"Let's see, you have extra eyes right" the male pointed toward him and he shot back an evil glare and snapped his jaws at the man. The man smirked cruely "We'll take your normal eyes" the man pulled out something small and metal. He was filled with fear. They held his head and suddenly it came close and he screamed. It was white hot and he couldn't think anymore. He yelled and screamed and screamed. He could even hear Shali's screams, her pleas for mercy that were never received.
And for a long time, they were weak. Inglor was filled with a sense of idiocy. They took his eyes. They hurt Shali's back legs. Inglor gave up and slept most of the time. Shali tried to get him to eat, but to no avail. But one night, he was woken to Shali yelling quietly "Inglor! Wake up!" she cried to him. He raised his head up and looked in her direction with a swing on his head. "What Shali?"
"There's a faerie, Inglor, it's by the door. Get up, I'll lead you if you support me"
Inglor nodded and rose to his hooves carefully. He was blind, his shoulder could never see so, inconvenience at its finest. He felt no pull from his chains, the faerie that Shali spoke of must have broken them somehow. They were so weak, but the idea of freedom was more wanted than strength. Shali led him while she leaned quite heavily on him, he was still strong enough to support her, but it was a task. He followed her movement with her front hooves, considering he could feel them. It was really slow, but he didn't mind. She basically just dragged her back legs along by using her front legs and the support from Shali. He soon felt grass under his feet. And a little later, he could smell human and he was stuck with fear, but the smell of honeysuckle was strong. A wolf, he also smelled. As well as a strong scent of sulfur. Could it be..? "Both of you have been so brave" it was! The Huntress! He felt Shali begin to shake and he nuzzled her slightly. The scent was strong for a moment and suddenly he felt a warm feeling on his cheek areas. "Thank you" he heard Shali said with an enthused tone. He smiled a little, wondering what had gotten her so excited.
The smell was then again, very very strong. He felt a hand go over where his eyes had been.
"I cannot heal this" the huntress spoke, he felt sad. He had hoped she would heal hi, but it couldn't be "But" he perked. He felt her hands run over his shoulders "Be well and see again" and then he saw Shali, bright and beautiful. But, she was beside him, not in front of him. He jumped back a little and yelled with joy "I can see!" He swiveled himself and looked with his shoulders. Taking in the amazing landscape, e wolf, the dragon, and then he swiveled to see the huntress. Beautiful and pale, with dark brown locks and brilliant green eyes "Thank you Hunteess!" he was so happy and pleased. He watched her speak once more "It will be a team effort, you and Shali will help each other. It is my will. " he saw her brilliant smile and smiled back, but it disappeared when there were rustling in the bushes. He heard it too. He swiveled himself but then he looked back and saw a little faerie wi the huntress "I thought you put them all into sleep" the faerie spoke back with a sound like small ringing bells. It sounded lovely. The wolf growled and barked, he look towards it, it was huge!" he looked to the men with his other eye and saw a few back away. The huntress took up her bow and loaded it with an arrow from the quiver on her back "Retreat or be punished. These creatures are not to be harmed, they are under my protection" Her voice was strong as a mountain and yet still so beautifully sweet. Her eyes glowed slightly, and the men did not move. She whispered a soft word to the wolf "Malan" and with that word, the old growled and leaped toward the men, fighting them off. The Huntress looked at Shali and himself "Run. now." They looked toward each other and they both began to run. Shali had a halo now, and it's light guided him, he soon saw he could see like a horse. He could see things in front of him. They found a safe place to sit and wait. And a while later, the Huntress returned. "You two will not be bothered ever again" he watched her hold out a hand and show them two necklaces with her emblem as the pendant. It looked a little like an eye. She placed it over both their heads in turn so it rested on their necks "You will be protected as long as you wear those necklaces. No one will dare to ever harm you"
Shali nodded and she looked like she was crying. He moved toward her and nuzzled her softly. She smiled and said sweetly "Thank you so much"
The Huntress smiled sweetly at them and waved. She let out a whistle and a horse came from the gloom of the forest. It was a massive black animal with feathered legs and silver armor. The Huntress mounted the huge animal. The wolf stood beside her and the dragon shot into the sky, it let out a roar. "Isash" She spoke loudly and the horse reared and galloped away, the wolf followed close behind. Inglor looked at Shali, they met each others eyes and Shali nuzzled his cheek softly "Come on, let's go"
Hence the story of the mated Iqena. They needed each other to survive
