Pluralia's philosophy on life follows a particular Chinese tradition that a majority of people don't know. What is said that if you are good in this life -which is a test- will determine how fast you'll be able to return. For instance, if you're a complete angel in this world you'll be born almost right away into a good family that is caring, wealthy, and ultimately you'll live a prosperous and amazing life for your excellence in the previous. If you had some flaws yet still offered fm be a prime example, you'd be born into a mediocre family, one that is essentially 'middle class'. Now, perhaps you weren't a complete angel, you'd be reincarnated into a type of animal... The animal determining how 'bad' you were in your previous life. Perhaps a dog, maybe a cat, bird, etc. You only return back to the normal life once you've fulfilled your days as a pet or animal. For example let's say you were reincarnated into a dog, and you an optimal pet and created a loving atmosphere. You'd pass on and be born into the real world with a good family. What Plualia views in her life is the fact in order to come back good and well, you must be the loving and caring person to pass the test with flying colours. So Plural treats her life as a gift, and offers help in generous amounts and helps to put a smile on someone's face. She does indeed have her own flaws, but she does her best to try and play them to her advantage, if not to understand and better them. After all, isn't one of life's greatest test is to accept yourself and become the better you?

Plumie name;; Sairena, Sai for short
Plumie Gender;; Female
Their philosophy on life;; "Not every day is happy, but there is something happy in every day. Search for the light in unhappy days, it will guide you back on track." - Sairena believes that no matter how dark everything looks, there is always s little bright light of happiness. Even though Sai herself may be upset like everyone else is, she believes that you have to find a little happiness even in the worst situations and hold on to it. To hope for light in the darkest of hours, because those who live in darkness will never get out without searching for the light. She believes that anyone can find something bright if they search for it, and that there is always something to cheer someone up, even if their life was hard and their circumstances seem hopeless. After all, there is no point of going on if the only thing ahead is a dark, dead end. Even the littlest smile and the smallest good word can light up the day and show a way past dead ends of depression.

life is like a book. every day is a new page, every month is a new chapter, every year is a new series. some chapters can be happy and exciting, while the other chapters can be sad and heart-breaking. even when something goes wrong, you don't close the book. you just turn the page. everyone's story is so unique, it always makes you want to keep turning the pages. if you don't turn the page and let go of the past, you'll never know what the next chapter holds. people will drift in and out of your life like your favorite character. when you finally close the cover, the characters have told their stories and you start up again with another book, complete with new characters and adventures. then you find yourself focusing on the new ones, not the ones from the past. there can be so many unexpected twists and turns, and you get to know the character a little more every page. you can slowly become attached to someone you never expected, weather it's the hero or the villain. you don't jump ahead to the end to see if it's worth it. just enjoy life and fill the pages with amazing and beautiful memories. the further you get into the book, the more it begins to make sense. and when the story unexpectedly ends, it can cause sadness and confusion and anger. nobody wants it to end without a happy ending. life can also be like a coloring book, with the outlines already there, and you are left to color it in and make it beautiful.
i chose the philosophy because when i was younger, i used to get annoyed my mom so she would always joke about 'how i couldn't wait until she was dead'. i always used to tell her life was like a book, and i never wanted hers to end. this philosophy means a lot so i would prefer it if you do not steal this idea, please and thank you u v u

rude | snarky | quiet | nervous | vindictive
Ekho is a tried and true jerk. He doesn't care what others feel, he just cares that you leave him alone. Anyone who has come close to him has certainly felt his bite. Even with the lose of his voice, Ekho has still proven to be as rude as possible. It's not really his fault he can't stand people, it's just that other people have never understood him. It takes a resilient personality in order to get past his defenses as he doesn't leave many openings visible. Growing up as he did, this was a character trait that not only protected him but got him into more trouble then he can count. To bad he can no longer talk with way out of the corner. This builds on his next characteristic, his inability to to not keep his theoretical mouth shut. He is always at the ready with a smart-alack reply for even the most mundane comments. Count on him to be the spoil sport.
He also is very quiet, as can be understood. Someone without a voice is of course unable to speak. But he is also quiet in other ways. Ekho has never had a problem with keeping to himself, tucked away where other's can't find him. He just doesn't understand people. Always looking for a chance to escape, Ekho uses his blunt personality in order to get away. He is also quiet in other ways as well. Being a hunter requires it at times. He has never had to practice the stealth skills it takes to sneak up on a sleeping vampire or a wayward werewolf. That is a skill that has always just come naturally to him.
Ekho is the epitome of nervous. It used to only be a small thing, helping him keep an eye out in crowded school hallways and loud foster homes. It was a trait that has saved him from many a bully. Now though, this trait has grown exponentially as Ekho struggles to still get over the fact that he was cursed. He no longer has the ability to call out to someone should he need help, so keep and eye out he does. There are to many people and creatures out there who intend to do him harm and he is utterly to aware of this fact. This at times has made him even jumpy when he doesn't hear the the bell jingle on the door or when someone approaches him and catches him unawares. One can never be to careful...
Lastly, Ekho is vindictive. He has tried to tame this trait, as it is one of the reasons he is stuck in his current situation. It feeds off his need to be seen and heard instead of ignored. This trait has only festered over the years as he wishes he were the one to kill the jerk who had taken his voice, who had planned to take more. A common houshold bully usually only garnered the need to fill the jerk's locker with rotting fruit or some other disgusting object, but once having played witness to the hunting community and seen the damage done to families Ekho just couldn't help himself. He wanted these families to be able to finally get the revenge they deserved for the injustices set upon them.

quirks;;
- he tends to squint at people while they talk
- absolutely despises coffee
- has a strange affinity for old novels
- doesn't understand modern technology
fears;;
- of waking up the next morning and having no one left
- witches
After not being able to find a reversal spell for the curse under which he suffered, Ekho chose to be selectively mute. Not only is it unnatural for him to only repeat what others say to him, but he is now incredibly ashamed of his voice. By being mute he has an excuse not to try and talk to customers in fear of giving away the curse. The fact that Ekho no longer holds the ability to talk will never be a depressing topic for him, as his voice was his most prized and only true possession for so long. In fact, if it had not been for his friends, Ekho would have retreated so far into his shell that he most likely would not have made it, nothing but an echo.

Vanity is wasted efforts. If you are vain, you perish alone. Beware the trap which vanity lays as one will only be punished for it, catching others in the crossfire. Instead remember those around you, use your talents for good. The only way in which to protect yourself is to be kind to others instead of ruining what is theirs as those who abuse their gifts will suffer the consequences.

Ekho's cloak is very important to him. Bartered off a hunter, the "magic cloak" as others see it is actually that. The cloak itself had, sewed onto it, sigils from all part of the globe. He wears the cloak in the hope that it will protect him on the off chance that something supernatural finds him. Considering his line of work, it's not like the worry is to far off the mark. The cloak also serves a duel purpose though. As someone who runs a herb and natural remedy shop. The cloak gives him that air of "magic" that most normal customers look for, helping him keep from closing his tiny shop.
His necklace is another key aspect. The purple stone is embedded in silver hung on an iron chain, keeping shifters and ghosts to themselves. This is not the only barrier that the protection charm holds, but it also contains an intricately carved anti-possession sigil on the back. Just another way to keep demons and other creepy crawlies out of his body. Ekho tends to try and "show off" this piece to most customers and hunter contacts, just to double check that they are, in fact, normal.
Lastly, Ekho's circlet. Another piece of protection. This circlet was a curious find for Ekho while helping out on a local hunt. The witch that the hunter's required help on had been wearing it at the time of her death. Kind of morbid, but it still serves its purpose. The circlet actually has a charm on it that keeps Ekho's mind his own while also warding off spells like the one that stole his voice. The circlet it also forged in silver, just in case.

Igneel :: one of the few creatures Ekho has come across that hasn't require the use of his blade, Igneel holds a special place in Ekho's heart. The dragon has been a close confidant of Ekho's over the years, proving to be an invaluable ally. He views the dragon as an awkward friend, not truly close but they have enough of an understand of one another to keep them on friendly terms. (owned by trollish)
Kennedy :: his most trusted friend, Ekho doesn't quite know what he would do without her. She was the one who had saved him in the first place. Not only that, but was the first witness to his curse. Even though Ekho knows he can be a complete jerk, for some reason Kennedy still chooses to stick around. The fact that she has not yet left him, even with all his more then obvious flaws, always warms Ekho on the inside. Considering his unstable upbringing and the wishy washy years following his curse, he is incredibly touched that she has let herself be his rock to lean on. Not that he would ever tell her this though. Whenever Kennedy is in town or looking for a hunting partner, Ekho is always willing to have her around a bit. Which of course nowaday's is a rather uncommon feeling for him. (owned by katstiel)
----------------------------
Robyn & Kazi :: the dynamic duo in his mind, Ekho has not only run across the hunting pair while he himself was on hunts but has also worked with them when the two were in search of information or spell ingredients. He has come to trust the couple over the years even if their relationship is a little rocky at points.
(owned by jensen ackles and Bently respectively)

Ekho didn't exactly have the easiest life. A child thrown into the system at a young age, he grew up without ever truly knowing his parents. So from foster home to foster home it was. Ekho was the model foster child, never breaking a rule. Well, at least not in the face of an adult. With the other children, it was another story. Ekho, at an early age, learned the power the correct words and tone of voice could have over a person. He learned how to read others, in order to better understand exactly how to play them. This was a trait almost necessary. As a small, almost feminine male he was a common target. He found that with the right comment, he could play into any bully's insecurities and escape unscathed.
Years passed and Ekho was left in an orphanage. Seventeen, and almost free from the confines of the system. Just a few more months before he would be finally, completely free. Of course, none of this could have gone to plan. Nothing ever does.
Ekho was then in high school, and still suffering the repercussions of being a constant target for bullies who were now the jocks. Popular kids were always looking for a reason to make fun of the others it seems, but then that's highschool. It was then that an opportunity arouse. A new girl, a girl who had no clue about anyone in the school. A girl who the team captain had chosen as his sacrifice, unbeknownst to everyone else. You see, the head of the football team? He grew up in a family of witches. The kind that dabbled in dark magic. Just three years previous he had been knew to the school. A couple well placed spells and he had risen through the ranks. And, as his 18th birthday approached, so did his chance to finally be initiated into his family's coven. All he needed was the soul of an innocent. The new girl was a perfect target.
But back to Ekho. Weeks passed, and slowly but surely he was able to sweet talk his way into her good graces. Ekho wasn't blind, he saw the interest the football captain seemed to have. Ekho knew this could be his chance. If he could take what his tormentor wanted, made sure he could never have it, then he could finally have a leg up. Not only would the idiot be able to play it off, as everyone in the school seemed to sense the captains interest, but Ekho would also have the pleasure of completely breaking the fragile bond of teenage love. So, Ekho set out to become her friend. He wasn't stupid, as this game was going to have to be played carefully.
Not even two months later, the new girl and the king jock were "the couple" of the school. She was now one of the most popular girls in school as no one feared her but loved her for her kindness. The captain, playing the girl, pretended to be smitten with her. It seemed he had not only the whole school fooled, but her as well. While on one hand she seemed to love him, she still made time for Ekho in her daily schedule. Whether it be eating lunch this the school recluse or walking home together. Finally having secured his spot as her "best friend," Ekho knew it was time to strike. The following weeks he fed her lies, thinking he was so clever. He put his tongue to good use, knowing soon he would sweet talk her into leaving the other. Already insecure with her relationship after the first few weeks full of lies now cemented in her brain, Ekho could tell he was getting somewhere. It was a month later, after a party which the girl chose not to attend, that he he struck his final blow. How else to destroy a relationship but mention that one had slept with someone else?
Five months after the initial relationship, the girl turned from the captain and decided to run to Ekho instead. This enraged the other, his plan was just so close to fruition! Seething with anger he made a silent vow to get his revenge as no others in their little town would be able to fit the bill. An innocent willing sacrifice, that was what he needed. To convince her to come out to the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere now? Impossible. She would never come willingly. The past months had been for nothing. So, he went against every rule his family had laid out regarding his coming of age initiation. The jock went out of his way and exposed his family.
Intent on reclaiming what Ekho had stolen, the captain attacked Ekho one night. The intent was to kill Ekho, to steal Ekho's visage in order to lure the girl away. It was when Ekho walked past an alleyway that the captain struck. Ekho was pulled off the street and drug into the back of the alley, struggling as he heard the captain chanting some weird language. That was when someone came out of nowhere. This new person, quick on their feet, slammed into the jock and knocked him off of Ekho. The captain tried to keep up his chant but let it fall flat as a well aimed punch hit him in the jaw. Meanwhile the other two grappled on the ground, Ekho clutched his throat, letting out a voiceless scream as his vocal chords burned. He buckled over, leaning heavily against the wall. Only a few minutes later, the burning sensation stopped. After the pain faded, Ekho looked at the plumie who had intervened on his behalf. He could see behind her the football captain's body on the ground. He tried to say thank you, only... nothing came out.
She approached him, calculating eyes taking him in. "Are you okay?"
Ekho nodded, going to say he was fine, and to thank her for the help but instead- "Are you okay?" His eyes grew wide as his mind raced. What was going on? Why couldn't he speak? That was when the shock started to set in. He could hear the other plumie trying to say something, but he couldn't make out the words. His heart started to race and his breathing sped up until everything went dark.
Well, as he would later find out, only the first portion of the spell cast that night had taken affect. A spell created to steal someone's entire person, including their voice. The captains plan had failed, but Ekho was left with the inability to ever communicate vocally. Sure, fainting in front of her wasn't his best moment, but who could blame him. This wasn't the most usual of circumstances for one to encounter on their walk home. It was thanks to the other plumie, who's name he learned was Kennedy, that he survived that night. It was her who introduced him to the world of the supernatural, that night having accidentally run into him while stalking out a witch case in town. Funny that their chance run in gave her the confirmation she needed to complete her hunt.
That was their first meeting. Since, Kennedy has become Ekho's closest companion. They never did find a reversal spell for the curse set on him, but he has since learned to live with it. He now hunts with Kennedy in his spare time, sometimes even helping other hunters from the sidelines. And hey, he may be cursed, but Ekho has come to learn that he would never give up his experiences. As now, he has finally found his place.
I would like to thank a lot of people for being amazing help with this form. Firstly, thank you to B, Beatnik, and Jen for being my writing help. I know I am completely useless in this department and your encouragement and critique really drove me on. Even if I don't win this competition I know I am a slightly better writer for it! Boxxes and Soul for being my cheer squad. You to are so obnoxious I love you both <33 And to Arawen. for her support and coding capabilities as otherwise I really don't know how I would have finished this form. The vast majority of the coding for this form is thanks to her! I would like to thank Trollish, katstiel, Jen, and B for letting me use their plumies for relationships (as all were of course used with permission). Thank you lastly to Sixbane as well for the opportunity. Whomever wins this guy is very lucky and I hope they take good care of him. I know I can be a pain at times but you all helped me muddle through. Lyrics come from Panic! at the Disco & Fun.'s song C'Mon!
