Story:
My fingers wrapped around the small key dangling around my neck. Two objects. to possessions. That was all i held close. and i lost one of them. I felt it missing. i could feel the loss of its weight on the silver chain in which it sat. the Silver Ring. I grabbed my soda can, and took another swig. I had been sitting in this cafe for what felt like hours, but happened to only be a few minutes.
Finally i mustered the strength to finish the last of the bitter Soda, and stuck the empty can in my bag. I had been having troubles getting rid of stuff, after loosing my ring. It just sorta happened.
I continued on my way, heading out the doors with new found determination.
2 hours later, i'm lost in mountains.
i had trudged on for hours, and finally came across and set of fancy, rather remarkable, mountains. I knew that my ring couldn't be far from my home, but i had to go see what secrets those mountains held. As i walked up the mountain, getting swarmed by trees, i notice a minimal amount of wildlife.
Finally, i came across a cave. It wasn't often you find a cave such as this. It was wide, with a grand intrance full of symbols. Torches leaned in on the sides of the gave, as i slowly walked into the silky darkness. I notice as i walked that the torches lit up behind me, then they passed me, and fire ate at the wood of the torch. Soon, my path was lit as i walked, and i was surrounded by the calm darkness anymore.
I saw something scurry. I jumped. I saw it again, and gasped. Soon it stepped out and stared me in the eye. On a gold chain around the creatures neck, was my silver ring. I reached for it. The little beast scurried back.
i sighed, " that's my ring." It shook its head. I took out my soda can, and squeezed it tight in my hand. the creature yelped, as if saying, ' stop, give that to me!'
I held the can out. The creature slid the chain off from around it's neck, and held it in it's mouth, up at me. i took it, and handed in the can. Then I saw i had found a Jewel Maned Dragon. a JMD! i pet it lightly, and smiled, " Why hello."
It smiled up at me.
The story of a bond created by a soda can, a ring, and a little curiosity.

Felix slowly peeked into the large, abandoned castle, the door creaking as it opened. Felix let out a sigh and slowly padded into the castle, glancing around the place nervously. Ahead of him lay a long corridor, and he blinked his eyes, he hated corridors. Felix then began to walk down the corridor, telling himself to stay calm no matter what. Suddenly, when he got to the door at the end of the corridor, there was a growl, and he froze. Slowly, Felix turned around to see a monster coming towards him. Felix screamed and yelled out as the monster ran towards him, and quickly he opened the door before closing it behind him. His heartrate went up, and he whimpered when he heard the monster breaking through the door. He went to a corner of the room and crouched down.
His eyes went wide in fear as the door was broken through, and the monster came in. Luckily, it couldn't see in the darkness, and after looking around, it left the room. Felix sighed with relief and got up, and he glancd around, spoting a laturn full of oil. He turned it on and glanced around, and by his paws, he spotted a soda can. Felix picked it up and looked at it, it was empty but closed. He frowned before putting it in his bag he had brought, and he carried the laturn in his jaws, and he spotted a door before going to it, opening it and then closing it when he was on the other side of the door. He glanced around, the laturn still in his jaws, and he searched through the room before he found a key. It was golden in colour, and it wasn't rusty like everything else was in this castle.
He went to another door and used the key to open it, and he glanced around, it was a long corridor, and it had red lights,m making the walls look like they were stained in blood. He put the key in his bag and made his way down the corridor, but he heard a growl and glanced behind hm. There were at least four monsters running towards him, and he screamed before running down the corridor, and he opened the door but didn't bother to close it. On the table in front of him lay a beautiful silver ring. The long lost silver ring of the people who used to live here. Felix picked it up and put it in his pocket, and the monsters were apon him, and he screamed as the monsters dragged him out of the room, and they dragged him out of the castle.

Username: My username is . ..AppleCitrus.. ., but feel free to just call me Applecit.
Name: This cute guy's name would be Noboru, which is Japanese for climb or ascend.
Gender: Male, and he certainly hates being thought of as a girl.
Story: It was a cool winter's day, well, actually, it was nearing the end of winter; that awkward time when ice still layers over the ponds, yet is not thick enough to stand upon. When the melting snow cakes over the grass, wetting it (and annoyingly, the sidewalk as well) and causing quite unfortunate trips and falls. It was chilly outside, yet, if you went out bundled, it would be steaming. So, Noboru was content with just his bandanna for today. Cheerily, he bounded outside, almost skating on the wet grass. He skidded to a stop, pausing suddenly to sniff the air. With his bloodhound like nose, he could detect something rather unusual. The sticky, sweet smell of soda, specifically his favorite, root beer.. But, it was still winter! Who in their right minds would sell root beer on a cold winters day, when the alternative was the most wonderful hot cocoa? Noboru was too curious for his own good; he just had to get a peek at the lunatic who was drinking an icy cold soda. Gingerly, he padded over to the source of the soda smell. He was a bit surprised to notice the soda spilled over in the snow, turning the once white and crystal covered snow to a faded dark brown. Still confused, Noboru sniffed at it, detecting a whiff of what he assumed to be some kind of rusty metal. Digging through the soda-covered snow, he discovered a rusty key.. He picked it up in his mouth, tasting small hints of the rust and soda. It had quite a curious shape, and he assumed that it must have been purposely cast aside. Backing away, Noboru padded back inside, for he was becoming quite cold outside.

Endlessly curious about the key, he constructed every test possible. He sniffed it, searched for it's owner, looked for chests to open, and even tasted it once. After a week of endless searching, Noboru's spirits were hopelessly lost. Sighing, he decided to take a walk in one of the few snow-caked parts of his town, the Flame Forest. The trees were close to one another, and the leaf tops were thick, it kept the sun from melting it. He sniffed through the snow, searching a last time for clues. Sighing, Noboru was about to give up, when, a familiar rusty, root-beer smell entered his nostrils. Eagerly, he bounded over to the mound of snow where he found it, and dug through it to search for the familiar smell. He grinned with delight, recognizing the spot where he had buried his most prized possession as a boy, a glistening ring of pure silver, because he had worked up quite the reputation as a pirate with his friends, and wanted to prove it by burying something made of silver or gold. Noboru lost it many years ago; he never thought he would find it. He quickly dug through the snow, finding a small chest containing his lost silver ring, along with an entire six pack of sodas! He was elated with his find, and eagerly collected his spoils.

The proud and loyal
Username;;
Hello! I'm Olivia,
Feel free to call me that, or Blazer, doesn't matter much, It's just all up to you Dear<3

Name;;
I would definatly name this boy Buckwheat
After an Australian Shepherd My parents had long before I was around
((Wish I had the pictures, she was one Stunning pup C:))

Gender;;
Unlike Buckwheat,
This little one's a male<3

His long awaited tale;;
Buckwheat is one of short attentions, anything shiny seemed to steal his thoughts. He is also one of brash actions, weather he means it or not, this sweetheart can come across as rude, as where he meets such struggles in his tale. Speaking of which, Shall we start?
A clean Summer's day held Buckwheat in a state of exuberance, yet there was nothing to do, rendering the the dragon to the boring act of cloud watching. He however was easily distracted by the sound of aluminium against rock. He shot up, curiosity holding his better judgment. He bound forward in long strides. His shoulders fell as he beheld a rather... interesting sight.
Just a coke can...and a string?
Buckwheat mutter lightly to himself as he sat puzzled by the shimmering can and Its string acquaintance. He slowly began to reach for the can, when it lurched away from his paw. Awe filled the dragons eyes, he his head from side to side, scanning for the force the might've moved the can. With out thought he leaped for the can, only to find him self face down, with no can. He snorted in anger, and started to sprint after the offending Coke can.
Buckwheat ran on for a nice while, yet he wouldn't slow down, That is, until he fell face first into a deep hole at the base of a tree
Hollering and scrambling as he fell for what seemed like miles deep into the earth's thin crust, yet when he landed, it was as if he had only fallen feet, and he could easily pull him self out of the hole he had found him self in.
He lifted him self out of his current prison, and was awestruck by the sight he beheld. He had gone from a dry plain like area to a forest of extraordinary proportions. He was obviously on the peak of a large hill ad he could see the mist tumbling between the mountains' valleys, yet he was not high enough to see their peaks. He observed his new surroundings as he tried regain his scene of sanity.
Image
Where most would panic and think 'how do I return home?!' All that cam to Buckwheat's mind was exploration of this new territory.
His boundless energy kicked in once again as he began to sprint down the hill. Buckwheat found himself cloaked in the eeriness that is an empty forest. Time seemed to stop around him as he wandered aimlessly. He looked for hours, looking for some sort of new adventure, yet all he seemed to find is more nature. It seemed as though his wonderland was slowly loosing it's perks, as hunger a fatigue slowly began to take hold of Buck's body. Just as he was about to give into his body's demand something caught his eye, something...bright
I swear if it's that stupid coke can...
Buckwheat mistakenly toke the shiny object as his old nemesis, yet it was something a bit more, intriguing than a regular old coke can. What he found was a key, a grand key. The Key's luster seemed to be enough to keep Buckwheat detained for quiet some time, yet he heard advances of a good sized group. In fear the group was searching for his new treasure, Buck attached the key to his handkerchief so it could easily be hidden in his thick mane. The Armour clad group drew close, signaling for Buckwheat's escape.
The Knights wrote:"It was around here sir, I-I promise!" The young man stuttered as he looked at the empty forest floor
"This isn't funny Gale! We need to find the key before we're all beheaded!" The aged man spit towards his younger acquaintance's feet "You wanna be the reason we die!? Get Back to the Group!"
The old man saw the key too, He knew they wouldn't loose their heads, nothing was of the matter, yet it felt as though something ominous was floating about the air. He shrugged and continued his search for the key that had the ability to redeem the queen's supposed ring, lost for generations. This happened to be a quest the old man had been on for years, as he was the one that made the long lost ring, and he was determined to be the one to find and return it.

A plan formed quickly in Buckwheat's mind as he over heard the man and his quiet mumbles. Finding a new extra source of energy, he burst off, in the opposite direction, only to find him self falling once again

WARNED YOU ABOUT THE STAIRS -shot-
Not again!
Tumbling and yelping, Buck hit the ground a bit harder than last time. He picked himself up and limped forward,
"Would you believe my luck?"
Buckwheat chuckled lightly as he saw a large door, heavily locked, obvious untouched for years. He slid the key out from its hiding spot and opened the door, to find the long lost silver relic. He smiled, and waited for the sun to set to engage the rest of his little plan.
Image

The knights wrote:Sir, Do you think it was that cat?
It just appeared?
How did that happen?
"SILENCE"

The old man chuckled slightly as he looked at what he'd been searching for for too long,
He had it now, that little piece of medal that manged to steal his sanity,
It was in his hands, he smiled broadly and looked at his men
Lets go home boys

Buckwheat heard cheering as he trotted back to his original entrance. Something about this forest was magic, and Buckwheat noted that as he plunged out of

l e g e n d;It was a cold and dreary night when the rain fell upon the cool, frozen leaves in the middle of December- the winter solstice. The dark haven in the center of the forest was in it's prime time- when all of the eerie, glowing flowers magically bloomed. On this one night annually, any animal said to be born at the time of the flowers' blooming was to be considered prophetic. The rain was quite heavy and the sky was darker than it had ever been.
A strange, feral Jeweled-Mane Dragon strolled among the trees, as wild and raging as they sounded, as though she owned this day, as though she ruled the storm. Her large belly indicated her pregnancy and the nearness of her due date. The female found herself in the plains that stretched out of the forest, near the cacti and the cracked dry land that begged for the water, eagerly soaking it up. There she lay, beside one of the cacti, feeling the first pains of bringing life into the earth
~
This female needed to find the right place to see the flowers bloom. Her mother had told her a riddle on where it lay hidden. Reciting the riddle to herself, the female looked about for any sign:
Where I found the key,
Look for it's imprint by the biggest hive of the bees-
The crumpled soda can hidden behind the cacti,
To find such an object use your gifted eye-
Lastly search for the ancient silver ring's glint,
A burned bush is the hint-
It is place of human's scent that burns for finding,
They did not know the secret hiding
Was right beneath their feet.

The riddle entailed how the humans, who were so desperately searching to witness the legendary event of the solstice flowers blooming, looked for the place but could never come. Each year for a 100 years they had left a piece of themselves there, but they did not realize the treasure they searched for was beneath their feet. The feral female looked about- she needed to find the area quickly before she was to give birth. She wandered around and suddenly a piercing pain hurt her shoulder. Whipping around, she locked eyes on a flying insect, a bee, who had had her fun stinging the female Jewel-Mane Dragon. The female followed it, being stung several times, and there it was, a thriving hive. It was large and a gut instinct told the dragon she was there. Her eyes locked on a dusted object that was caught in a charred black bush that was dead. The female kicked it out and found it to be a soda can.Then suddenly, a clanking sound came from inside the can- a key lay hidden safely. Someone else had probably moved the key and dusted the soda can so no one else could find it. The female looked around, suspiciously. Suddenly, she felt a shooting pain in her abdomen, yet another warning to hurry on. She walked forward a few steps and a sharp pain jolted up her leg as she collapsed. She closed her eyes and the sky was darker now- the flowers were going to bloom now.
The female clenched her jaws together in agony and distress. She didn't find the place and now she was in pain and had to have her child knowing that the flowers were blooming with someone else. Her left hind leg trembled slightly and she shut her eyes tight for a moment. All of her other muscles tensed and suddenly relaxed, as though she was in a peaceful sleep. The female's starvation and hardships were clear in the easily spotted rib cage that kept her lungs protected as her chest heaved with each breath. Then, the flowers slowly poked their buds out of the cracked, chapped desert sand and surrounded the dragon, their petals and leaves gently brushing against her fur. The dragon's eyes flew open and the first sight she saw was a a parting of the clouds, a small circle in which the constellation representing Orion shone brightly. Her mind was soon off of the constellation when she noticed a strong and vibrant light reflecting high on to the clouds. A petal brushed her fur and her eyes lowered from the sky to her surroundings. A large selection of bright flowers all glowed up to the sky in a bright blue color. Suddenly, the small area around the female dragon had transformed into a small oasis of its own- a small forest covered with bright blue flowers. The female's eyes circled around her and finally, right before she had circled all the way through, her eyes laid upon a small male pup, with orange jewels- her little boy. Nuzzling him kindly, the dragon knew the flowers' omen- her pup was male and his coat colored was a silvery grey, almost like a blue roan-like color. Looking up at the stars, they blinked four times and vanished, as did the rest of the small oasis, all zipping back down into the cracks and crevices of the ground. Her son was to be called Orion. Orion was her son.
Now this legend of the jewel mane dragon was quite rare to hear in the human world, but those who did hear it went on quests for days to search for the so called sacred oasis. Yet the human eye was and still is oblivious to the tiniest of details. And the human's brain was too precise to believe that a magical forest could appear from cracks in the desert. But the jewel mane dragon- well, their sense of hope, believe, and connection with nature only make it natural for them to stumble upon this wonderful haven.

Anashi
Yes, a boy, but still named Anashi.
I thought the part of him that was gray almost looked like storm clouds, and Anashi is a Japanese name meaning storm.
But, don't worry, that doesn't mean he's mean at all.

{yes, this story is told by Anashi's point of view}

I brushed the crumbling dirt of my newest find; a thin, cream colored paper that seemed to have smooth marks on it's surface. It simply showed a collection of huge....triangles? But how could you find a triangle? The evening light grew darker and I made a decision; I would sleep here, right here, waiting for whatever the map might show me. I curled up on the emerald grass and closed my eyes just as the fireflies started to glow.
My dreams were odd that night; I seemed to be seeing the world as just shapes. Plain circles for stones, rectangles for tree stumps...triangles for mountains.... I was jerked awake by a cold, cold wind, and started to wonder about my dreams. Could they have a meaning? Triangles...triangles, the last thing I had thought of in my dream. They seemed somehow important. Just as important as the map. Of course! The map!
It had triangles, and if triangles meant mountains, them maybe the paper...I think called a map, could be showing us mountains?! I had seen mountains before, and some were rather close.
I thought I should at least go to the mountains, even though this was probably just some trick anyway. I trotted of, past the blooming tulips. Soon enough, a small river ran to my right on it's way to the mountain. I was just two feet away when I felt something beneath my foot. It was cold. Metal. I glanced down, and, indeed, saw a small
key attached to a note. The note simply said "follow the river", nothing else.
"Well, I guess I could try to follow the river." I thought. Holding my key in front, as if to protect me, I got closer to the river and started to walk. I noticed a bright red
soda can and kicked it to the side of the river to get it out of my way as I walked along.
Then "Thunk. Swish. " Huh? A tiny door seemed to have appeared in front of me. I hadn't realized it at first, but I was actually really close to the mountain before and had run into it! I looked at the side of the mysterious door. A lock, perfect for my key, was there. The key must have twisted in my hand!
In the space that was protected by the door, I found a soft bandanna, which was an orange color. It had a few stormy grey spots, and right then I knew it must be meant for me I unfolded it. "Clang!" A tiny,
silver ring fell from the bandanna. What? How was that a treasure? Sure, silver was cool, but I thought this would be a really exciting adventure.

Then I realized; it was the little ring I had gotten when I was just three.
