Charchar2. Nice to meet you! n-n
I'd love to name this adorable little boy Peanut Butter. That's what he reminds me of, with his chocolate-y browns and bright oranges. Of course, he'd have a nickname; you can just call him Peanut, if you like. n-n

Peanut's a boy. <3

Peanut Butter's really shy but sweet. He takes a while to open up to new people and dragons. However, once you become his friend, you'll learn he's very, very loyal. He hates lying or cheating, and he'll do anything for his friends. He loves nature, and simple, pretty things.

Jairo thinking about his, er, owner? Or rather, the kid he babysits. Very sketchy, sorry. =/
Seems like Julie is finally admitting how much she cares about Jairo. Maybe they got into an accident in the woods? Trying out some speed paint techniques, didn't go as well as I'd hoped.

Story;
Once, a time ago, Jairo was a housepet at a children's home. Tender and caring, he had helped the workers keep the children quiet, in line, and happy. A wealthy man and women adopted one of the little girls, a stubborn, fitful girl who was 7 years of age. She was called Julie, and still had vivid memories of her troubled life before the fire. Being the only one to survive whilst her mother and older brother passed, Julie had taken very fondly to Jairo, who reminded her of both family members.
Because of this, before she would leave to her new life, Julie demanded that Jairo would be taken with her. Thus her new parents bought Jairo out of affection for their daughter, and Jairo now lives gladly with Julie and her parents at a large, secluded house in a deep, green forest. The two are an inseparable pair that never tire of exploring the forest and house. Because both the parents work, they often leave Jairo in charge. He happily complies.

Just back on CS after a looong 2-year gap, so I have virtually no new pets and all oldies and no idea how to work the coding of a CS signature. Will work it out later I think!

Story:
Alfonso wasn't always the handsome, playful, energetic dragon he is today.
It used to just be him, living all alone in a small cave in the woods. As far as I can tell, someone abandoned him when he was still a baby, and he survived, but most certainly never thrived.
I was off on a little hike, little more than a morning walk. I decided to go deeper into the woods than I normally would, and continued on in the direction that one could only assume was deeper.
The leaves crunched beneath my feet, and I couldn't hear much more than birdsong. Nonetheless, I felt as though I were being watched. I looked around, expecting to see nothing and ease my nerves, but instead I saw a quick flash of movement. I stared, not sure where it had gone, but considerably jumpier now. I continued cautiously onward, jumping at the sound of a falling leaf or a squirrel. Then I saw him: a starving lion dragon, close to the size of a bobcat. His fur was matted, his ribs showing much more than could be deemed anywhere near healthy, and his face covered in dried brown substance. Despite all this, rather than being hostile he seemed curious. I dared inch the smallest bit closer. He backed up a bit, but didn't flee.
"Where have you come from, Not-So-Little guy?" I said, for my own benefit as much as his.
He cocked his head, as if to say, I could ask the same of you.
I slowly continued closer, the dragon all the while staring at me. I finally got close enough to touch him, and carefully stroked his neck. He tensed, and then relaxed. I pulled out a handkerchief from by bag and started to clean him. He made a sound akin to a purr, but looked around as though embarrassed after.
As soon as he was all cleaned, it was apparent that his fur was quite pretty, although still matted. I stroked his head a bit, and then grabbed for a pouch of berries I had carried for a snack, handing them to him. He ate quickly, as though unsure of whether I'd let him have them if he waited too long.
Eventually the berries ran out, and it was getting to be considerably later than I had intended to be home by. I got up, and cast a glance goodbye at the dragon, whom was now groomed and content. As I walked back, I heard leaves crunching behind me, the fall colored dragon following. I smiled, at the same time as making a decision.
He shall be called Alfonso, meaning brave and eager.
