Personality: Brent seems to almost be the exact opposite of his brother Jax. Fun-loving and excitable, Brent loves being around people and always tries to get everyone's attention. However, he tries to cause mischief often in the form of his pranks. Though he rarely tries to hurt others, never without reason, he can unintentionally go too far while talking and say things he doesn't mean to, and often he tries to apologize and explain this he "digs the hole deeper" as the expression goes.

Hobbies

Bug-Catching- Brent has always been fascinated by bugs, and loves to catch them in empty jars to get a closer look at them. Sometimes he doodles them, or writes short stories of imaginary adventures they went on. However, Brent grew up on the 'Catch and Release' method, and always tries to let them go within a few hours.

Pulling Pranks- Pranks aren't only for April Fool's Day! No matter the day, Brent loves a good prank. Toothpaste-paste filled Oreos, glitter filled buckets propped up on top of open doors, dangling fake spiders from the ceiling, moving all the furniture he can push just three inches away from the original position, or coming up with something completely different, and watching the hilarious results. Brent can go over the top sometimes without realizing, though usually regrets it when he does.

Exploring- With two parents who love the outdoors, it's no surprise Brent loves exploring the outdoors as well. Forests are definitely his favorite to explore, finding all the hollows and climbing all the trees.

Relationships

Lyra: Brent believes he couldn't have a better mom. From showing off his stories to her, to exploring the great outdoors together, to plotting pranks with her, Brent loves spending time with his mom, and just loves her period.
Maxwell: Brent loves his father, but often tries to take advantage of his laid-back nature. Just "a few more minutes before bedtime, so I can finish this up!" turns into forever plotting pranks or writing stories if Maxwell gives Brent the opportunity.
Sophie-Ann: Knowing she is a lot more sensitive to them, Brent tries to go easy on pranks with Sophie, but still loves her none the less, even considering her his favorite sibling. He often comes to her, excited to show her the newest story he wrote about the bugs he just caught.
Kamryn: Kanrym's rebelliousness often comes off as somewhat mean in Brent's eyes, and he is actually a bit nervous of her. His upbeat personality doesn't mesh well with her more grumpy one, but he still loves pulling pranks on her, even if they don't always turn out right.

Jackson-Lee: As Jax's twin brother, Brent tries his best to understand him, but they don't always see eye to eye. Brent is usually the one to pull Jax's hair out of his eyes and try to convince him to be more social, but more often then anything else this only results in an annoyed Jackson.

Lukas: Truth be told, Brent doesn't care much for Lukas. At all. With everyone making a fuss over the new baby, Brent feels ignored and left-out, and blames Lukas entirely for this.

Likes and Dislikes

Music- If there's one thing Brent has in common with his brother, it's music. Although Brent isn't particularly skilled at playing any instrument, he loves listening to music, and singing along. He could listen to Jax or Lunar play all day.
Writing- Brent doesn't have the same writing expertise Lyra or Sophie have, but he still enjoys writing short, imaginative stories to show his literature-loving family.

Math- The most boring and repetitive subject, in Brent's opinion.
Getting Wet- In Brent's own words; "Nothing good can come from getting wet." The wet fur smell, shivering as the water evaporates off, and stiffened fur right as he dries annoy Brent to no end.
Horses- Brent has an irrational fear of any sort of equine, especially horses, terrified they might trample him.
Watching Sports- In Brent's words: "Why would you want to watch them? They're way more fun to play!"

Relationships:

Lyra Silvertongue: Jordan loves his mother. He loves her company, but is naturally a bit embarrassed when she's around with his friends. He finds it intriguing how she can say things in just the right way, and although he doesn't like to admit it, sometimes tries to act like her. He often goes to Lyra for comfort.

Maxwell: Jordan also loves his father very much. He's generally more outgoing around his dad, and especially enjoys hanging around outside with him. He also feels very safe around his father, and generally goes to Maxwell when he's looking for advice or to have fun.

Sophie-Ann: Jordan likes to hang out with his sister. Sometimes though, he feels like he's too quiet around her. Since Jordan is the kind of plumie that will usually only speak when spoken to, he finds himself not speaking much to Sophie-Ann.

Kamryn: Jordan thinks Kamryn is the coolest sister ever! He greatly envies her style, but the only problem he has with her is her attitude towards mother. Most of the time, he'd rather back up Lyra than Kamryn in an argument.

Jackson-Lee: Jordan has a very special bond with his twin. Jackson-Lee is sort of his role-model, and he can often be found immitating the things that Jax does. He would much rather that his twin wouldn't be so much of a downer, but loves him nonetheless.

Lukas: Jordan simply loves his little brother! As an older brother, he feels that it is his duty to be Lucas's role-model, so usually he's showing off around him. However, when he's not, he's probably hugging Lucas or helping him out.

Music:
Music is a large portion of Jordan's life, but you could say that he has an interesting relationship with it. He loves music, but no matter how hard he tries, has never been able to read music. He tried learning several times, none with adequate success. Because of this, he chose not to play an instrument. After that, he got extremely in to listening to music rather than playing it. He's often seen with headphones on, which sometimes annoys his parents. Jordan is also amazing at keeping time, almost like a living metronome, but still denies that he has any musical talent.

Future Occupation:
Jordan would like to be a professional hacker. That's right. Don't get me wrong though, he has absolutely no interest in being a criminal and scamming innocent people. His job would be the opposite, to hack into bad viruses and delete them by force. He can also read code, so he's great at finding computer bugs and patching them up. Jordan has always been interested in computers (being a gamer himself), and finds that legally hacking would be a dream for him.

One Summer Day
Jordan threw the football to Lukas. Jax was sitting nearby under a shaded tree, reading. "So," Jordan began. "Nice day, huh?" he said casually. It was the most general thing he could've said, but none of his siblings had talked in a while and for once, he found the silence disturbing.
Lukas scrambled to pick up the ball, but it had landed on the ground. "Yeah." Lukas replied simply, bending down. He chucked the ball back to his brother, who caught it perfectly.
Jordan was satisfied. Lukas had thrown the ball with excellent precision. "You're getting better at this! Good job!" he walked up to Lukas and gave him a pat on the back before returning to his spot on the grass. Lukas blushed. It was around midday now, and the young boys had started having to squint at each other in the light of the sun. "You know what, maybe we should just go inside and get some lunch. I'm starving." he set the football down, which rolled on the grass before landing beside Jax's feet.
Jax growled. "Aren't you going to pick that up?" he asked.
Jordan turned around and shrugged. "We'll probably play later in the day, just leave it there." The twin glared, but still closed his book and followed his brothers inside. He had to admit he was getting pretty hungry.
Lyra had already supplied a hot pizza when they entered. The kid's sister's had already dug in and were munching eagerly, along with their father. Jordan raised an eyebrow. "We don't usually have pizza... What's the occasion?" he asked.
Lyra shrugged. "There doesn't always have to be an occasion. I just thought it was a beautiful summer day and that maybe you wonderful children would appreciate it."
Lukas smiled. "Works for me!" he reached out and grabbed a slice. Jackson took some, too, and sulked in the corner of the room to eat. Jordan took some as well. The family continued in silence, too busy munching on their food to spark conversation.
"Thanks!" Jordan cheered, lifting his second slice of pizza into the air and breaking the silence.
Lyra grinned. "All right, you got me." she said, noticing the expectant glint in her son's eyes. "We're going to the zoo!"
All of the kids cheered in excitement and rushed off to get ready to leave. They never even thought about playing football once more once they had returned home.
