RVEC #19 - Black Friesian

Postby SydneyandStorm » Sat Jan 03, 2015 6:36 am

Because friesians are known for their action, any breeding between two friesians will add four points to action, and any breeding between a friesian and a horse of a different breed will add two points to action.

Passed away 12/26/15.

Extra: It was a cold day out driving, my human sitting in the carrage, my mare next to me, I trotted, not stopping, I was scared, I was spooky, but I just wanted to get home! As we were pulling I heard a horrible sound, I snorted before hearing a splash, a horrible weight pulled on my back, the bridge has broken, the carrage was in the water, my human screamed, I snorted before pulling, both me and Nino were pulling as much as we could, the harsh harnesses and bit pulling, I gagged my mouth open before we gave another few pulls, I heard more hooked before screaming, it was an unlikely place for a horse to be, so they came over, they quickly jumped of their carriages and ran over to help, it was difficult, we were sweating so much we were steaming...

Soon enough we got the carriage out of the river, it was broken, the owner stood there and looked at his carrage, he patted us and gave us a hug, "thank you Nando, thank you Nino" I nickered as he detached us from the carriage and walked us home, I aked and I hurt, but nothing is like helping my human.

This name Nando was named after a Friesian gelding I ride.

Holy cow guys you've made judging this so difficult on me xD I put it off as long as possible, but I really owe you all the results, and here they are ^^

Congrats, ACanadianEquestrian and piaffes in the snow! I loved how their names intertwined without being cliché and that you two worked together to get them c: They really seem like a lovely team!

There will be two runner ups, because judging this was really so difficult on me -- so congratulations, Oddly Shaded and TheLoveOfHorses! They'll be two percherons, one male and one female -- the first to claim one of the perches gets that one, and the other will go to the user who did not claim the one ^^ Keep an eye out for them, guys!

Yo, Em, can I breed him with Juliet?
Image
hello, bonjour
please call me believe

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.
