    Cat Name;; Icteridspaw
    Gender;; Female
    Age;; 14 Moonpassings (1.2 years)
Clan;; Kin of the Barren Tundra
    Rank;; Apprentice

    Prompt;;
You'd think the first act upon hearing suspicious activity, especially as a coward, would be to run and get help, or warn those who are more confident and hold more strength than you about the sounds.
    That would be logical, yes.

    Not for Icteridspaw.

Icteridspaw is a coward at heart, yes, but also craves the attention and the longing to be recognised for something that she did rather than the steps that have been placed out in front of her to follow. A reckless coward. Unusual combination of traits at best.

If Icteridspaw heard a noise in her territory, her first act would be to make sure that no other cat heard the sound and investigate on her own, keeping her guard up the entire time and treating it as if it were a secret mission she had been given and had to complete to the highest standards to avoid any consequence. If she located the sound she would attempt to take on whatever it was by herself, backing away last minute and retreating to get help if it proved to be too much of a task for her to tackle on her own. Albeit, if she is unable to find where the sound had originated from she will become bitter with the other apprentices and warriors in her clan, forcing herself to believe that they intended to sabotage her own personal mission to rid her of success.

Username;; persona
Cat Name;; Mothpaw (Mothwing)
Gender;; Female
Age;; 6 moons
Clan;; SkyClan
Rank;; Apprentice

Prompt;; Like any apprentice would, her first instinct was to turn tail and head back to camp to find her mentor - or any elder warrior - and alert them of said noise. Why wouldn't she? It could be a badger, or fox, or one of those rogues where Orion came from. But unfortunately, Mothpaw was not that type of apprentice, especially on second thought; she wanted to do her own things, her own way, and that meant she was going to hunt down that noise herself. It couldn't hide in very many places - either it was going around the mountain, back into the ocean, or went down to the human town where she'd see it eventually.

(She'd ditch at first sight of a literal, true enemy - but until then, she was going to trail after it like her sights were locked on a bird on a hunting patrol).

(It was, thankfully, one of those tiny, yet over-sized, dogs that just didn't understand the word "stop!", so Mothpaw could pretend it was water under bridge and tell no one.)

Username;; kiffell
Cat Name;; Salmonpaw
Gender;; she-cat
Age;; 10 moons
Clan;; cascadeclan (for now, told from the point of coastclan)
Rank;; apprentice

Prompt;; "Hmmmmmm"
Salmonpaw's ears twitched. Keeping her eyes shut she rolled herself over in her moss bed, face scrunching.
"Hmmmmmm"
Her ears twitched again before she blinked her eyes open. What was that noise? She eyed around the den quietly before poking Seapaw, "Do you hear something? It's like a faint...humming noise?" She whispered, eyeing the den exit. Seapaw only groaned and rolled in their sleep, telling Salmonpaw to go back to bed. She huffed before settling back down again on the moss, shutting her eyes.
"Hmmmmmm"
She clenched her teeth before her eyes shot open. She stood up, flexed her claws, and shuffled slowly out of the den. She needed to find that humming or it would be the death of her. The camp was quiet, and only the sound of the ocean hitting the beach was heard in her ears. She stopped, before eyeing around her.
"Hmmmmmm"
Her ears shot up. It was louder now, but it wasn't coming from anywhere around her. She moved back from the beach in front of here to go out further into the meadow. Her paws crunched against the grass before she stopped, letting herself sit down.
"Hmmmmmm"
The sound again. She clawed at her ears before spinning, trying to find the noise. It was so loud here and she wasn't sure where it was coming from! Then she felt something land on her noise.
"Hmmmmmm"
It hummed. Her eyes widened with a smile before letting her head look up to see a small swarm of...
"Hmmmmmm"
Cicadas!
"Hmmmmmm"
The small cicada on her noise took flight among it's friends as they danced in the night air. The group of insects swirled and zig-zagged, doing small rolls and...bumping into each other? Salmonpaw gave a small laugh as she saw the insects butt heads on accident, getting dazed before letting out a huffy "hum" noise before they returned flying through the air. Salmonpaw wrapped her tail around her paws as she sat, keeping her gaze on the magnificent creatures. What a beautiful sight to behold. (341)

    Username;; Kazin
    Cat Name;; Avalon
    Gender;; she-cat
    Age;; 10 moons
    Clan;; Twilight Drift
    Rank;; Trainee

    Prompt;;

It wasn't often that Avalon found she had free time. No training, no going on patrol, no listening to her mentor or her brother tell her what to do and what she should be cautious of... it was just her and her thoughts in her favorite spot - next to the water. It was the perfect spot; she was on a low branch, hidden from view from any cats or deer that might wander over to get a drink from the fresh water, but not high enough that she felt scared. Birds chirped above her still, unaware of her presence. The sun even streamed through the branches just right, warming her pelt and making her squint happily.

Other animals came and went, making a very little amount of noise as the went about their business. Deer steps were the loudest, but they didn't come through often. Avalon enjoyed watching each and every woodland creature, seeing their behaviors and how they interact with the forest around them. The splashes they made in the water were usually very quiet, not wanting to attract attention to themselves.

Splash! Avalon nearly fell off of her branch, the sound so unusually loud. That wasn't a deer. It wasn't a cat either. What could have made that noise?

Peering down into the waters curiously, Avalon's tail twitched as she looked for the source of the noise. There! It looked like... a duck? But it wasn't a duck? It was too big to be a duck. It's feathers were all white, not like any duck she had seen around the territory. As she stared at it longer, it truly was huge. Definitely not a duck.

"What in Starclan's name...?" She breathed, leaping softly to the ground to get closer, her mentor's disappointment ringing in her mind. Don't go up to things that could be dangerous, Avalon, she heard him say in exasperation. But she couldn't help it. She had to know what it was.

Avalon watched in awe as the bird locked it's gaze onto her, swimming closer to her with a strange honk. It watched her, ruffling it's feathers. It was amazing, graceful, and beautiful. Sometimes, the trespassers on the territory were breathtaking. And they weren't all dangerous, like Atl seemed to suggest.

      Gender;; afab tom
      Age;; 10 moons
      Clan;; The leaders of light
      Rank;; Pupil

Prompt;; Cacaowing was curled in his moss bed, staring at the wall. During this time of leaf-bare, it gets harder to sleep. The wind beats against the walls, howling like a wild wolf. He frowned, shifting in his spot and curling his tail around his body. A sudden thump jolted him up. It wasn't like the beating of the wind, it was something else... his ears twitched as he strained them. The gentle snores of the cats around him seemed to drown out a strange sound from the floor above. He blinked, narrowing his eyes. Thump. He jumped up, fur standing on end. He quickly shuffled past the other cats, jumping out of the way of little patches of light. When he approached the stairs he flattened himself against them, very slowly clambering up them. What if there was a bear, beating at the doors of their camp? What if it was a flock of owls, ready to snatch them all up? What if the snow had finally become a big bad monster, just like he said it would all along? On the last step he peaked his head out from around the wall. Through the giant stained glass windows he could see the snow swirling outside. The drifts had decided to move under the benches instead of on top of them, curled up in groups. He slowly stepped out, eyes glancing in every direction. His fur stood on end. The figures in the windows seemed to stare down at him as he continued to search around.
Suddenly the sound of something dropping against the floor made him jump again. Cacaowing's whole pelt was on edge, and he arched his back and tail to seem bigger than he was. He quickly skittered across the floor towards what made the noise, his claws unsheathed and ready to defend his camp. Something dark shifted in the shadows, its tail swishing from side to side. He ran faster, then pounced on the creature's tail, biting into it.
"Ow !" a voice called as Cacaowing was suddenly whacked in the head with a paw. He rolled back, fur still on edge. Above him was a familiar large black tom. His nerves immediately settled down.
"Oh, sorrys Lavendersmoke." He mumbled, looking down at the ground.
"Why are you up out of bed?" Lavendersmoke asked.
"I'm just defendin' my clan ! whats you doing?" Cacaowing furrowed his brow and scrambled up, puffing his chest out.
"Nothing too important, just speaking with Starclan." Lavendersmoke replied, turning his head towards the window above him. The stained glass shoved the night sky, cats with wings sitting on the stars. Cacaowing's mouth was agape as he stared up with him.
"Starclan? Really? what were they saying?" He asked eagerly.
"Just that there's a very brave pupil among us, and that they think he should become a serf soon. What was his name, Cacaowing, maybe?" Lavendersmoke smiled with a wink. Cacaowing grinned, the sense of accomplishment made the wind much less scary.

Username;; wolfpack12
Cat Name;; Blossompaw, Blossomflight
Gender;; She-cat
Age;; 7 moons
Clan;; Crescentclan
Rank;; Apprentice

Prompt;;

Blue eyes snapped open within the darkness of the den.

Cautiously, the young she-cat lifted her head to survey her surroundings. Silently counting in her head to make sure her fellow apprentices were there with her. Once she was certain that all were accounted for, she gave a nervous glance towards the den's entrance. She knew better than to give in to her curiosity. But what if whatever she had heard was a possible threat to her clan?

Carefully, Blossompaw made her way past her sleeping denmates and into the small clearing that made up her clan's camp. Only to regret her decision when she realised that the night was eerily quiet.

Pushing down the urge to bolt back to the safety of the apprentices den, Blossompaw began her slow trek towards the clan's entrance. Only to nearly jump out of her skin when an owl suddenly flew out of a nearby tree. Calling out to another in the distance.

Flattening her ears, the she-cat allowed herself to once more relax. Don't be such a scaredy cat, it was just an owl, she thought scornfully. Before her blue gaze once more glanced in the direction of the inky darkness in front of her. Before she could even think of heading back, the she-cat forced herself to keep moving. Determined to get to the bottom of the sound she had heard.

Cautiously, Blossompaw kept to the foliage as she made her way through the forest. Knowing that it would keep her somewhat hidden from the keen eyes of other predators. All while listening out for the creature that had woken her up.

Just as she was about to give up and go back, she heard it again.

A loud haunting noise that caused the she-cat's fur to stand on end. What made the matter worse, was that the noise was far closer than it had been previously. Before Blossompaw could decided on what her next action would be, a large darkened silhouette moved into the moonlight.

The best she could describe the creature's fur colour, was that it was a tawny brown. While its amber gaze reminded her of the sun. Bright and full of intensity. Whatever horror the she-cat had previously felt, had now been washed away by pure awe.

Sure, she had seen foxes and the occasional dog. But nothing like this.

However, her fear quickly returned when the creature lifted its head in her direction. Giving her a good look at its sharp fangs as its lips pulled back into a snarl. Not wanting to find out if it was her it spotted or something else, the she-cat quickly crept backwards and turned around. Before bolting back the way she came.

She didn't stop until she was within the safety of the apprentices den. Before plopping herself down between her denmates and falling into a restless slumber.

It won't be until morning that she'll learn that the creature she had seen was none other than a wolf.
