Username: Surroundingcrystals
Show Name: Mr misunderstood
Barn Name: Jona
Gender: Stallion
Halter: Same as eyes
Story: It was a warm sunny day at high school, Jona was passing the ball outside with his friend Midnight.

“Duck!,” Jona yelled as he threw the rugby ball away from his intended path,
A light pearly skinned girl turned toward him just in time to get a rugby ball to the face.

“Oh my gosh miss, I am so sorry!,” he yelled as he began to rub her direction,
The teenage girl rubbed the side of her face where the rugby ball had struck her dropping her backpack in the process,
“I’m sorry, so sorry,” Jona repeated as he met her side, he gently lifted her hand up from her wound revealing a red puff of skin.

“It’s fine.” she said at last swatting his hand away,
“Let me take you to the office!,” he said with his voice covered in sympathy,
She looked at him in the eye as she rubbed the wound some more, ‘why would a popular sport player like him care about an injury he caused to a girl he doesn’t even know?.’

“Ok,” she replied with much silence and hesitation, the bell rang, by this time Midnight had already left for class,
Jona picked up her backpack, he decided to carry it for her, after all it was the least he could do. “Shall we go?,” he spoke softly,
“Look Jona, I really don’t want to be late.” She responded as she began to walk in the direction of A block,
“How do you know my name?,” he asked curiously with a dash of concern in his voice, ‘has she been stalking me?.’

“Who doesn’t know you?, you are the most popular guy in school!,” she replied with some aggravation,
“Oh, yeah, that,” he looked down in what seemed to be regret or disgust “what is your name then?,” he asked breaking the silence.

‘Why would he want to know my name?, he was cute, sure, but I am literally nothing compared to him, people hardly even know me!’ She thought in her head, “My name is Lilac, if you must know Jona,” She responded with jealousy in her voice, oh how she longed to be popular like him,
“Lilac, that is such a pretty name,” he replied with a grin as his heart began to beat rapidly, he looked deep into her eyes in silence and she returned the deep stare.

Jona shook his head “We should, uh... uh...,” his voice trailed off as he began to stare lovingly into her eyes,
Lilac giggles in response, “So are we going or not?,”
“Oh, yes, yes!,” Jona said awkwardly.

The two teenagers walked around the library, through C block and they finally saw the office in their view after ten minutes of much anticipated travel, they entered the office to see multiple guidance councillors chatting with a cup of coffee in each of their hands. The reception seemed to very empty for the middle of the day, Jona ushered Lilac to sit down in the sick bay, he insisted that he would find one of the reception workers to get an ice pack.

Jona tapped his foot as he leaned against the wall of the sick bay waiting very impatiently for one of the workers to come past “Lilac, are you ok?,” he asked with a concerned along with frustrated tone,
“For the most part I am ok, it still stings a lot though,” she responded with a aggravated grunt,
“Again Lilac I am profusely sorry,” Jona said with upmost sincerity,
“I know, it was a freak accident, you didn’t do anything wrong.”

The pair waited in silence once more. When hope was nearly lost a familiar face came past.

“Miss shrubbery!,” Jona called excitedly as she rounded the corner. Miss shrubbery is the first face you will see as you walk into the office, her and Jona know each other well.
“What are you doing in here Jona?,” she said noticeably suspicious of his motives,
“I am here with Lilac, Midnight and I were passing the rugby ball to one another, as I was throwing it it slipped, short story is that the rugby ball hit her in the face. It left a pretty red mark.”

Miss Shrubbery walked into the sit bay to see Lilac sitting on the bed that was in the middle of the room. The mark on the side of her face seemed to have gotten significantly bigger over time nearly covering her entire left eye.

“Goodness gracious! It is bad!,” she said with fright, she walked closer to Lilac,
“How bad?,” Lilac responded fearing for the worst,
“Oh dearie, it isn’t too major, an ice pack would do the trick.” She smiles sweetly “Jona, you can go to class now, she will be fine with me,”
“I would rather stay,” Jona insisted with guilt,
“Jona, you must go to class,” she responded with a stern tone.

Jona walked up to Lilac, he hugged her. She smiled and placed something in his hand and instructed him not to open it until he got to class. He hesitantly left the office, he quickly made his way back to class to open the scrunched up note.

“Where have you been?,” his teacher asked as he walked in,
“I was in the sick bay,” Jona quickly responded, he looked at Midnight who had saved a seat for him, he sat down, Jona smoothed out the piece of paper, it read “text me xxxx,” with her number at the bottom.

That class had gone painfully slow for Jona, he ran out the door as soon as the bell rang, he made sure he would get home as fast as possible.

He swung the door open, he quickly plopped himself on his neatly made double bed, got out his cellphone and began to type. “Hey Lilac! It’s Jona here, I really hope you are okay, I hope the swelling has siezed too! I can’t wait to see you at school tomorrow,” he hovered his finger over the send button for a few minutes before finally sending it.

eeep I've been watching this baby for ages and I can't believe I missed that their competition was added oml

    Story:
Busy. Busy busy busy. Racing through her morning routine, too busy for a proper breakfast, the young woman decided on the next best thing. Grabbing a sour green apple, her favourite, from the clear fruit bowl in her kitchen, the strawberry-blonde woman took a quick bite, savouring the bitter taste. Skirting down the stairs of her apartment building from her top floor apartment, almost skipping down the final flight, she made her way to the subway station.
The subway was surprisingly fast for a Monday morning, and she found herself with a couple of spare minutes, plenty of time for a quick coffee from the cafe next door to the office buildings for herself and her closest friends.
Coffee cups and precariously-balancing croissant in one hand, little box of various others clutched in the other, she left the cafe, but passed the office buildings. Most of the workers in this busy metropolis were cooped up inside buildings like that, stuck behind a desk as they slaved the day away. Chuck pitied them, if she was honest - she couldn't imagine how mind-numbingly boring that must be. No, office-jobs never appealed to the woman.
Rounding the corner, the little pie-shop came into view, almost lost among the high-rise buildings and busy streets. She had started this business with her own two hands, her momma's apple pie recipe gaining interest among her neighbors and leading her down the career path that she would never have considered. The little bell above the door chimed as she opened, the smell of yesterday's freshly cooked pies still lingering in the air. Placing the coffees and pastries down on the counter for her waitresses, who should be arriving any minute (Their coffee orders were one of the first things she asked anyone on hiring them), she trotted to the kitchen at the back, pulling on her apron. The bell above the door chimed, signalling the first arrival of the day. A cheery "Good morning" and a quick chat followed the arrival of the young girl, barely 17, who had come to the city with dreams of stardom, but seemed content for the moment to be working in the small pie shop. Coffee, pastries and company were enjoyed as the other two waitresses arrived for their busy day ahead and Chuck migrated into the kitchen, beginning the day's bakes. But soon, pleasantries were ended, and the work day began, as the small clock on the wall chimed 8:00 am. The office workers who were too busy at lunchtimes to leave the workplace but still longed for home comforts would soon be arriving, eager for a take away box that could be warmed and enjoyed later.
And, sure enough, as the door chimed with the entry of the first customer of the day, Chuck's day was lost to familiar faces, eager strangers, flour in her hair and scalding fingers as old oven gloves didn't quite keep the heat out like they used to.
As she locked up, flour still dusting her hair, her sleeves and even her shoes, she retreated back to the subway station, back to her little apartment that somehow always smelled like fresh pies. She was exhausted, the physical toll of her work sapping all of the energy from her body.
But she wouldn't have it any other way.
